I could not watch the live one, but I am listening on to the VOD. It's like a pre-election politician debate on public TV in my country. They are trying to peddle their best intentions with nice smiles on their faces while everybody in the audience knows they are only thinking about getting as much money from the government finances as they can when they win the elections. They are trying to weasel around the sore spots very hard. And it shows. It seems they are trying to drive the people that care about the game out and just keep the monkeys that pay without thinking.

You have to understand that the statement was not the only result of those 2 days. The main discussion was about what to offer to the community as an olive branch. They decided on the Missouri thing. The rest is the usual crap (Huron is in production anyway already). Now notice how cleverly the statement is worded: They DO NOT state any specifics. Not naming the causes, not even explaining WHAT commitment. They simply state that they are comited to something. On the surface it seems as if they want to actually change all the issues and remedy them. However, since no issues are specified, there is no commitment to anything in there. That sentence is the corner stone of the whole statement. It's a hollow shell that appears to be pretty on the outside, but there's nothing in it. Not even hot air. Just plain vacuum ... You can actually substitute this and it will make complete sense in the same way: Or how about this: You can craft similar statements about anything from that sentence.
