    So you reduced the shell velocity ? or increased air drag coefficient ? How about specifying that ? The result of both will be more arcing shells. I guess you would specify shell velocity change so it must be air drag ...

    I don't think Grozovoi is the correct comparison there .... those lines should coexist with one being more stealth oriented while the other being open water gunboat at long range ... they have a problem with the later ... it was an issue with Khabarovsk and is still an issue with the Delny ... range is not yet there ....

    Actually the worst what happened: Going from "play a game and get rewarded with items" we are now at "play a game and get rewarded with MORE gameplay". Just look at what happened to Achievements, Twitch drops etc ....

  5. that was 2 including the community voted one ... I wonder why can't they just return the old versions of some maps into the rotation. yes they may look different since there were some graphics upgrades in the time they were gone, but I take ugly maps if they play good ...

    I saw the rewards and thought I want to grind the Kita kamo ... then I saw the free token options and noped out .... played a few battles, they were not bad. However there was a lot of experimentation and learning involved due to lacking descriptions of almost everything ... I like the format of the arena battle ... but that's about it ...

    Twitch and YT to be honest ... I like a few of the streamers on Twitch regardless of what they stream ... most of them stream WoWs....

    it is better to not receive damage in the first place than to rely on mitigation after you were hit. that plate will not help against HE breaking modules, fires and the like ...

    That 50mm strip will only help against DDs, Tashkents range will help against a wider range of opponents ...

    Initial blog said it has only heal when I read it ... they must have edited that afterwards ... If the detection is the same then there is no upgrade against the Tashkent ....

    Tashkent is 9.29, Delny is 9.49. I don't remember Delny having smoke ... in the initial blog it only had heal and in this one there is no change mentioned ... but I may have missed one ..
  22. This is about the first Submarine blog I like the contents of. I do think this is a step in the right direction. Now you need to start addressing the ASW part of the equation ... Make DCs similar to ASW aircraft in the sense that the first G just switches to them and highlights the drop area while a subsequent click starts the launching sequence. Also ... we need to know where the charges will END UP being launched based on ship speed and not just the sector behind the ship they are being launched at ... Yes it will look weird having the targeting area under and in front of the ship, but there's no other proper way of estimating where the DCs will end up ...

    I must have missed the patch where Russian DDs became torpedo boats. Delny has same gun DPM and less range than the Tashkent, no smoke option, worse concealment. Torpedoes are longer range, but reload in 2x the time as Tashkent ...

    So ... We get captains that have no skills and don't generate ECXP. We don't get any FreeXP. This battle mode does not count towards ANY missions other than the Hunt specific ones. No credits gain, nothing. The only reward is from the missions. Erm ... and there are submarines in this mode as well (Fangblade and co) ... Why bother ? EDIT: Oh and the description of the ships and their features is a total catastrophe ... One of the DDs has ridiculously high arming distance on the torpedoes but that is nowhere described. Also Artillery section contains something that is basically secondaries but it is not described as such etc ... I played like 5 games and I had no clue what was doing what simply because of the missing description of basically everything ...

ALL torpedoes deal citadel damage when they hit the proper area regardless of torpedo protection ... just subs had a ribbon to denote damage amplification ... you can see that on ships with a heal that their healing potential is drastically reduced when they take a torpedo midships .... this is even true for DDs ...
