How to have the game preset-run on 64bit client?

If you have more than 6GB RAM it will be 64bit client .... -
When will we get the accurate squadron representation during an attack WG ? So we can actually DODGE efficiently ? At the moment, the attacking wing detaches from the squadron at time of drop (from the attacked ship perspective). I have watched a lot of videos and observed the attacks on me and all I can see is that the wing is a separate entity after the CV skipper pressed DROP. The drop animation plays and the wing detaches and vanishes to return. The main problem with dodging attacks with any effectivness (except maybe TBs) is that you cannot see the attack vector until too late. You can see shells flying in the whole way they are heading towards your ship. Ship torpedoes have detection range that can be improved by upgrades/skills/consumables ... CV attacks ... NOTHING !!! Also it would go a long way if you removed Situational Awareness from planes so they don't get alerted to a ship that is not shooting at them and is in their detection range. Given the speed of planes this is the biggest issue at least for me. Keep SA on the CV hull, but remove it from planes.

I noticed an issue with text/font in fullscreen mode that went away when I switched to Fulscreen windowed ... maybe those with perf problems can change the mode and try ? -

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!! I had almost unreadable blurry font/text after the update, I had no clue why. When trying the 32bit binary everything is back to normal readable format ... Now I just have to port all my settings and I can play the game again. -
I thought that one has the legendary already built in based on how balanced the ship is ...

And I was hoping this will be FXP or coal ... steel is not available to me in sufficient quantity ... one less incentive to play the game ... well done WG ...

Yeah that about covers it. The average joe now thinks the CV is AFK at all times ... Can we remove the fighters for real from CVs other than self defense ? Is a waste of resources anyway ...

Considering how they did with RTS CVs and how they understand the mechanics (or not) I'd say never ?

So you are BEHIND the AA cruiser behind an island in a DD ? What's the point of using the DD then ? Why not take an AA cruiser yourself ? And waiting for endgame is not the answer because then there's too few and too low HP ships still floating that you can easily cap in a cruiser or even a BB ...

You don't seem to entirely grasp the concept. The big damage dealing shells are AP and you can mitigate a lot of that by proper angling. No amount of angling will mitigate damage from HE bombs and torpedoes when they hit ... So apples and oranges ...

Sure ... I was not the one that started the RL argument :-) I just pushed it one step further ... If you count the number of hits on the RL Yamato compared to the planes used, they dodged a lot of bombs/torps ...

If the option is weak enough that it does not matter if you use it or not makes the option useless thus it removes it from consideration. Take as an example my Udaloi or the way I liked to play it: Fleet DD. My AA was weak before rework but my DFAA was significant in deterring strikes while active. So I could quite effectively prevent damage to my allied ships even when I did not shoot down any planes. Having good gun range and bad concealment made it feasible for me to stick with capital ships and provide support (spot torps, smoke, DFAA). Post rework my AA is still weak but I don't have the panic DFAA effect anymore, my ship is useless in defending my allies against air strikes. There is not way to deny vision to CVs now. You cannot zone them out with AA/Fighters anymore as they can dance around long range AA and barely lose planes. Pre rework they'd get shredded or driven away by fighters. If you cannot see the difference in gameplay and influence just means you did not understand it earlier anyway ....
