A. He might be a CV fan, but he does not like the rework in terms of balanced gameplay. He stated more than once that he does not like some aspects of the reworked CVs as they are too good to be good for the game... B. BB AP vs. DDs was a terrible change. It did not fix the dual pen per shell that was the main problem. Also it left 2 DDs somehow out dry for no apparent or logical reason ... There are no other ships that exempt from a mechanic that governs the whole class ...

Interesting problem ... I want steel for the Neustrashimy, but it may very well be that Ranked with CVs will take enough CV skippers out of Randoms to make them fun again ... Still don't know what to do ... Do the rental ships affect stats ? If not, I'll be trolling like mad in Ranked in rental DDs :-))) -
remove surface spoting from fighters .... the initial takeoff timer is stupid and goes against original rework goals. either remove it or add it to each landed squadron for consistency ...

On Live I noticed that when you switch off AA/Secondaries, it does not transfer into the next game ... so maybe that can be a contributing factor ?

does not matter which ship ... ship types are the same for damaging them, it's just easier to deal 90% of damage to a DD than to a BB, so DDs earn you more credits/XP. it's the % of the HP pool that matters ... what bugs me is why do cruisers get more XP for spoting a ship than DDs ? they should be tied ... cruisers have radar to help them, DDs concealment .... spoting as a cruiser is suicidal normally so nobody does that if it can be avoided while DDs are expected to spot enemy ship ... -
There's no help here ... this is a game and not a job ... there are no bonuses for reaching 60% solo winrate ....

well you'll have to since you don't have credits to repair your higher tier ships if things go as you suggest they should ...

I don't think you are aware of how the AA mechanics work ... there's a saturation mechanic in place so you only get so many AA explosions in an area + you can actively guide the AA to a direction you won't be in ... And with diminishing continuous AA in place, the amount of ships does not really increase the AA efectivenes that mush ...

Until WG make it at least a 0 sum game if you win with 0 damage you don't have an argument. Winning with a credit loss is neither fun nor good.

No ship can move in 3D. torps are fully 2D as you cannot change the running depth, just the lead. gunfire is 70% controlled by the game, the player just controlls the lead and to a little extend elevation of the guns. aircraft on the other hand can fly above terrain unrestricted (torps cannot, guns to a limited extend dictated by their stats that you cannot change). hiding behind solid cover makes you safe from all ships except planes that simply fly above the cover and attack you from the other side. positioning means nothing against a CV ....

Except that in the old system there were effective fighters, the CVs could affect each other. Not anymore ... DFAA was also a major factor in the old system in effectively scattering the drop. Not anymore ... Do you need more refreshment of your memory ?

You cannot balance something that is flawed at the design level. The issues are designed in as a direct result of the wrong set of goals WG set for the rework. If we have to work in the envelope of the set goals (single avatar at all times, arcade game style) then we cannot do better. CVs unfortunately work on a completely different level to surface combatants as they are only loosely coupled with their armament (i.e. they don't have to be present at the place of attack) and they can actually control and direct their armament during the attack (you cannot steer torps as a DD f.e., same with shells). Simply put, since CVs follow some exceptional mechanics, they need to be balanced by other exceptional mechanics. That however leads to an unbalanced system as CV as a class follows different rules to other classes and we are back to the RTS control style that was abandoned by WG. Yes it is possible to get CVs into good shape and play nicely but not in the current mechanics.

Simple make the reticle go full wide once planes in the attacking wing are shot down and need to be replaced from the squad ... enough of a nerf ....

another map with islands close to cap border for radar cruisers to hide .... genius creation WG .... NOT !!! I hope you will fix the port reset if you don't select a side in the Victory competition ... I HAD to pick a team once for it to stop ... why do you think ALL players will participate ? oh and please make the dynamic weather in port a toggle option ... please ... port is quite heavy on the computer as is .... 45 seconds for CVs to do nothing at tier 10 ? I could understand 30 seconds ... that's in the BB main battery ballpark, but the CV has no incentive to move at the start of the battle and has nothing to do for the time ... I mean the takeoff delay is needed, but 45 seconds is a bit much ....

looks to be a mobile intel i5 ... should be enough. however I doubt the integrated GPU is up to the task. update drivers and try ... but I think DX 10.1 is heavily driver dependent on that iGPU ... I had a similar system in the past and the game compatibility was very picky ...
