    as a DD main, I do prefer open caps ... Okinawa, Mountain range, Ocean ... I might be the odd one but that's my preference ...

    something without convenient islands close to caps and no cover in the cap circle ... a map with different size caps would be a novelty for randoms ... and I don't mean the concentric BS that was used for ranked ...
  6. well unless it's a competitive clan, I see red stats almost everywhere equally ... clan or no clan ... so discriminating by clan tag does not make sense ...

  8. How does a clan tag equal skill ? Do you need a certain WR to be able to create a clan ? Last time I checked you only need doubloons ... OTOH I have played with many 2-3 man divs from the same clan that I would rather like to have on the enemy team because of their "skill" ....
  9. What I don't get is why they are changing Black and Neustrashimy to coal ... I get that they are not common but both ships are a refined taste with very distinct playstyles. Them not being "popular" is part of their design, not the currency they can be obtained for. Just look at the Stalingrad for the opposite example ....

    @TheBrut3 already linked the relevant wiki article. View/spotting range depends on ship height (how high above sea level the highest point on the ship is, or the observation point).

    I do remember a video from iChase or some othe CC about the Asashio where he showed that the ship can torp further than his view range ... and Asashio has 20km torps iirc ...

    afaik no ... the max view range of any DD is about 17km ...

    And then people complain about suicidal DDs ... what shall I do with no support ? I had a division of Seattle, Bismarck and Iowa from a clan one game ... the simple hung back at 1/3 of the map and never approached the cap where I was trying to do some work ... (I understand they were in a fail division and that should have been an indicator right there).
  18. Sure, but WR is a result, not a ship parameter. And the table does not show what causes that WR ... the other BBs are marginally lower in WR but have better damage and K/D so in the end they feel less useless ... basically you can lose more often than in the GK, but you have a better feeling from your own gameplay and the ship performance because you have the damage and kills to show ... I you have the same spreadsheet attitude to game balance that WG is suffering ....

  20. So GK is achieving the WR by capping ? Because the other BBs are doing that by damage and kills ...
  21. Care to explain which side are you on ? Because the table definitely proves GK is useless ... WR on par with the rest bur 2nd to last or last in all the other categories (XP, damage, K/D, survivability) ... only tanking is decent ...
  22. That did not stop WG releasing the Anshan and Siliwangi ... so I don't see an issue here ... Also some of the RU DDs were designed and built by Italy ...

    Well ... I ran a full concealment built Udaloi at some time in the past ... it was actually working as you had about a 700m stealth torp windows .... but it was still a long range gunboat ... Udaloi is the odd one in the line between Ognevoi and Grozovoi ... It's a long range gunboat in the Tashkent style while not having the speed ...

    I think there were some Fletchers involved when they were testing the new weapon against the Fleet of Fog, but it a few years since I saw the anime ... might be wrong ... EDIT: Northern America FleetEdit Assault and suppression vessel Lexington (CV-2) - detachment fleet flagship. Battleship BB-62 New Jersey - has a Mental Model. Fletcher-class destroyer DD-445 Fletcher - doesn't have a Mental Model . Fletcher-class destroyer DD-446 Radford - doesn't have a Mental Model . Fletcher-class destroyer DD-680 Melvin - doesn't have a Mental Model. Looks like I was correct ....
