    In the first directive, my options are: 180k damage in one game 14 torp hits in one game (6 torps hits for T-61) 10 citadels in one game (in a DD, yeah) ... The 350k spoting or 1600 main batter hits is fine ... but that is 6th out of 7 ... EDIT: oh that one is limited to only 4 nations out of 7 that have DDs, so class limit AND nation limit and split per branch ... So the one remaining is not exactly easy and if I play as a DD an not as a "screw you team, I want that mission" I will not complete that ... at least not in any easy way ... Compared to a cruiser or BB, the 180k or 10 cit ones are much easier in those ....

    I am playing this to get a historical ship for the collection. I have the Bismarck for that same reason and not played it much ... That I want to get the ship does not mean I will play it. Diversity ? And you are saying that after quoting a screen for missions for SPECIFIC SHIPS in there ??? Do you have no shame ?

    That's a dual criteria mission, you can do the first condition in any ship in Ranked or Random ...

    Ah, I just realized that I cannot complete even the first directive with a single class of ship (DDs in my case). Nice one WG once again ... This has been the case for the last 4 major events IIRC.

  7. The Z-46 is fun but highly risky. You effective range is well withing 10km radar range so if you want to do anything, you have to risk it. If the team cooperates and they push out the radar cruisers as they are spoted than it's fine. If the team does not cooperate, you can either suicide or hide all game ... either way you accomplish nothing ...

    DD UU change 0.9.5

    Hello all, Since a few of the UU (or legendary modules) were changed in 0.9.5, I'd like to ask for specific DD feedback from players involved in order to help WG evaluate the changes properly. For myself, I have stopped using the Khabarovsk UU some time ago mainly due to the lack of maps you can properly use the UU on and the appearance of Venezia and spread of the Stalingrad and Thunderer which are all ships that pretty much nail me (I know it can be my lack of skil) at any range I can engage them at with 8.9 sec rudder. Post patch I tried a few builds on wowsft but concluded that the loss of staying power is too much compared to the gain in range/DPS and compensating by switching to smoke ... well I prefer to buy the Tashkent ...

    No, an actual proper evaluation with number of players/games etc. The "analysis" presented in that blog is very crude and simple and opens more questions about the analysis itself than it answers about the decisions made based on that ... Like f.e. observations for Khabarovsk: how many players using the UU switched the captain to SI while not having it previously etc ... How many players using the UU stopped playing the Khaba/demounted the UU/dropped the frequency of playing the ship etc .... You know ... a PROPER evaluation ...

    I have the Kirov, all ship stats where Kirov does not show up are there, only Solo/All Random don't show. Looks like that's the cause ...

    Silver ship gone, progress gone. Same situation as with the Moskva, those poor sods grinding through Kirov when the change happened need to go back to the Svetlana, regrind the Kotovsky, buy the ship and start the grind on Kotovsky from scratch. I don't care much here, I FXPed the Kirov to get the premium for free, but WG has screwed people over here quite heavily. Compared to how the previous line splits were handled, this is pure scam.

    Just play the game as usual and ignore it ... you will get some rewards from it but you don't need to open it at all.

    I have to compliment the UI changes (mainly the missions part), very well done. I am not keen on the Armory as the icons are not really useful there especially those for the event stuff, but is not bad as well. So GJ WG on that one.

    Yes it was, but there were effective options to deny that. Also there was a much longer downtime between strikes. Basically while some CVs could spot the entire map if they wanted to (9 squadrons), they were not able to keep the overview of what each squadron was doing and thus could lose them quickly if they encountered the wrong ship or the enemy CV was not a total potato.

    can anybody here tell me where in the WGC I can see history of downloads/updates ? I can see messages that updates are available but that's about it ... no entries about downloads ... I am still wondering why we were forced to change to this think when there's no advantage for the end user ...

    Ok, so 0.9.6 will be unplayable due to bugged sounds ... great ... Every time (ok every single time I can remember) when sounds were changed that particular patch was unplayable and WG had to quickly deploy some hotfixes for that .... call me optimistic ...

    CC or not has nothing to do with that ... any streamer/youtuber had that influence when he/she's at least a bit known .... EDIT: Just look at the educational series from iChase ... did you notice any improvement in general playerbase after he released his positioning videos ? I did not ... so your observation is just confirmation bias ...

    Thanks for the numbers :-) I'd disagree on the fun to play aspect. Khabarovsk is very fun to play, however it is hard to make it work. Once you nail the position and have enough targets in your (short) range it is effective.

    Tashkent can already reach 15.2km with main guns ... this thing will have MORE range ? Turret turn speed improved ? You mean the 18 seconds or the 9 seconds ? Better torps ? Better armor ? I wonder how that thing will look like ... It seems to be everything the Khabarovsk was back then ....

    Khaba has an obsolete role to play unfortunately. It was totally eclipsed by the Kleber. I mean a TANKY DD is a silly idea to begin with, but in a meta with the current CVs, Italian SAP and RU laser guns it is completely obsolete. And the Khaba has no secondary purpose to fall back to. The Kleber can still stealth torp if needed and it can decently scout since it is not outspoted by cruisers. Don't get me wrong, Khaba is still powerful, but it takes hard work and very good positioning to make that power come through (I only manage in 1 out of 5 games or so, but I am barely average). The UU is making that a bit easier by giving you more range at the expense of agility. The nerfed UU will give you more range at the expense of agility AND staying power reducing the tanky DD option even more.
