Two years ago Persona 5, Nier Automata, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Horizon Zero Dawn were released... You really do have a very limited experience of quality games if WoWS is your #1 Favourite. All four of the above I would rank as being much, much better than WoWS. I still enjoy WoWS, as it is quite fun to blow off steam on the odd occasion - and to make sure Asashio players stay where they belong: the bottom of the ocean. I agree with the above. If I had to give a recommendation, I would go for Yuubari, the IJN T4 'experimental' cruiser. But, you need to know how to 'shake yo booty' to get the most out of her. She also performs best with a DD captain, rather than a cruiser captain (she's slightly smaller than Khabarovsk, iirc, but has a citadel). Aside from seal clubbing, you could always try Cossack or hope WG renew their license with Highschool Fleet to get Harekaze.

I actually played Smash online for the first time this weekend, it was quite a lot of fun, so long as you play Time Battle with items on. Although, I won far more Stock battles than I should have (their fault for not prioritising the Dedede/K. Rool with two stock left ).

Do people buy Lego Star Wars models? The answer to that is 'Yes'. Do people sometimes buy warship model kits without realising they need more time and specialist equipment than they have? Also 'Yes'. (BTW, that unopened Kitakami box is 4years old, while the incomplete Shimakaze model is 3 - and yes, that is superglue residue on the Shimakaze model) Fact of the matter is, it's much easier to build something like a Lego model because you don't need specialist equipment to hold the parts together, nor do your need to paint the damn thing. It's also incredibly relaxing to build Lego models, you should give it a try. Actually, I would not mind grabbing a Cobi Warspite (or Shimakaze, if they ever release one), but for the moment I'm saving up to purchase this.

look at Kitakaze's position in your binocular view, look at his position on the minimap. He is between two of the BBs, with three of your torpedoes heading towards him. He is trapped. This is the advantage of torpedoes that hit DDs.

The best bit about that one is: you have also trapped Kitakaze in your spread, assuming he doesn't, uh, 'borrow' some battleship torpedo protection... This is, of course, not possible with Asashio.

I've detonated a Grosser Kurfurst with Minotaur's torps. Single-fire, all of them hit the exact same spot below the B turret, depleting the ammunition store's HP and detonating him. Game mechanics at work. You want to know what's funnier? Hitting an Asashio with Minsk's torps. Or this, it's old but gold: Harekaze torps. Aimed at Nagato. Hit Asashio. I have successfully landed torps on enemy DDs many times. Not necessarily Asashio, but when you know where to aim (either through RPF or a lovely "aim your torpedoes here" smokescreen) you can at least scare them off, if not outright delete them. One of my favourites (aside from the two examples above) was landing them on a Khab in full pursuit mode of my stealthed-up 900hp Shimakaze. My heart couldn't take much more of that. Another good one was torpedoing a full-hp Harekaze in Gallant. That turned the tables of that engagement quickly.

Judging by the fact that he's failed to use quotes properly or the @ symbol at all, I think he has no idea how to even use the forums. EDIT: Furthermore, he hasn't responded directly to any time we've quoted him or used '@', suggesting he has no idea what the little red number next to the bell means. Cool, cool. Did you read my comments above? It's a nice, quick, easy way to upload your 'evidence' of people cheating, without having to wait hours for youtube!

@subhunter5_1 did you see my post above? You don't need to spend hours uploading (low-quality) videos to Youtube, you can easily upload the replay files to these very forums and then we can watch them!
