    As a DD main, I get the feeling I might be joining the rush of CVs upon the release of 0.8.0. If nothing else, it should give me a better idea of the limitations of the new CVs, and from that I might me able to extrapolate counter-strategies. This is basically what I do when playing the few BBs I own, to prevent myself being outplayed by DDs. My grind of minsk will be on total hold until I can be certain that the Khabarovsk line won't be completely neutered by forgoing smoke. I'm not totally interested in Gorozovoi line after just completing both IJN lines. Well, if nothing else, playing the new CVs will give me an excuse to play Starfox and Afterburner music in the background.

    He's claimed several times already to be a 'troll king' or something. I definitely think the mods need to dole out some kind of punishment at this point. And this thread should have been closed two pages ago. Unless you mainly play DDs or the Cruisers that have that radar range, you probably would never notice. There is some balance to it: while the US and RN radars range from 9 to 10km and have 40s active time, the Russian OPdar (as I like to nickname it) is 11.7km with 20-25s active time.

    @Voreian A well-written and excellent response, I understand where you are coming from and can agree with you on several points. I'm still maintaining optimism for the rework, as I think the system needed to be rebalanced from the ground up and as someone who wanted to play CVs but was terrible at RTS gameplay (check my Houshou Random/Co-Op stats for some lols), but I can appreciate your concerns. I would've given your post a 'like' too, however one final point was left that I feel too strongly about to give it a positive rep: I'm sorry, but I cannot condone this sort of behaviour. Deliberately going AFK in a match just because the MM gave you something you personally did not like is scummy. The above statement is no different than being in a T8 cruiser in a T10 battle and just deciding to go AFK rather than slogging it out and trying your best. It's no different than being in a T7 silver CV and deliberately self-torpedoing to prevent the enemy Saipan from sinking you (this has happened in a battle I was in once I can only hope he had his account banned for that...). If you feel so strongly about the potential of being matched into a battle with 3 CVs per side, I think myself and your future teammates would rather you either stuck to Co-op or just didn't play the game.

    Planefus already exist, it's called 'Strike Witches'. The guy who did the art for the manga also gave us the character designs for the cast of Girls und Panzer and also designed most of the German shipfus in KanColle. Someone on Reddit wants ideas for character crossovers between KC and AL for a possible 2020 calender. I've already given a couple of my ideas, anyone here have a reddit account and an imagination to help out?

    Your metaphor (or is it a simile?) is extremely clumsy and confusing, and I'm not entirely certain what you are trying to say with it. Okay, so you guys are mature gamers. You are definitely talking about playing RTSs here. Now you're talking about...that Conan game where you start the game completely naked? Okay, sure, I expect that one's pretty toxic, but what has that got to do with RTSs? Or are you saying that playing PvP RTSs is like starting as a naked mongoloid...and becoming a top mongoloid to prey on the nakeds...? (which is basically you saying you don't want to be challenged, you just want to prey on those with lesser skills) So, now you're comparing that Conan game with the RTS carriers being replaced by the rework...I think? Or...you're just saying that the rework is somehow 'looting' you of your RTS gameplay...and that you blame the players who will be attracted to the new playstyle...I mean, really? ...Uh...what is how you like your games to feel like? Like RTSs? Like a naked mongoloid grinding to become top mongoloid? Like people looting your port? Can you clarify exactly what you're talking about, please?

    Top prize is pretty easy to get, even if you're not playing Hard mode. I got BB Kaga weeks ago, and I'm currently grinding C2 for the CL gun designs. KanColle is about 95% IJN ships at this point. There are very few non-IJN ships, and for the most part they can only be obtained from events (Last I checked, only Z1, Z3, Bismarck and Saratoga are obtainable from construction). I'm a bit neutral to Saratoga's design preference, on the one hand Marylin Monroe pose from KC is an awesome shout-out, on the other hand I do like magical girl Saratoga-chan. Yes. The people I live with are aware I'm a weeb and don't care about whatever random Japanese thing I'm into. I'm old enough to not really care about what people think about my interests, Barney-kouhai. Yep, it's Javelin. A bit disappointing, considering even Fire Emblem Heroes has a pool of about four or five characters do the title shout (English version).

    Ugh, why did I decide to look at this thread? It's just the same old 'delete carriers'/'CV rework should be stopped' vocal minorities echoing off of each other, failing to keep their toxicity in check. The only person here with even a modicum of sense is @Fat_Maniac. The CV rework IS NOT going to be finished in a single patch. The CV rework IS NOT going to stay exactly how it is on PTS, it will fluctuate over the next few patches (and micropatches) until some form of balance is found. The CV rework IS NOT based on the game going to console - different studios are involved (they said as much in that 50-odd minute waterline video). The CV rework IS NOT about 'dumbing down the game' - are you guys really so arrogant as to suggest that just because you play RTS and others don't that you're smarter than them?

    Containers for old collections are available for coal in the 'Arsenal' section on your port screen. Certain collections allow you to collect items from them randomly in your daily containers, too (you don't need to worry about them taking up constainer slots, they appear as an extra bonus).

    This thread is Yaskaraxx in a nutshell (aside from the insane love for Asashio). Do yourself a favour and don't become someone who finds himself somehow dredging through Yaskaraxx's stupidity on a daily basis (someone like me). Just ignore his inane, erratic, borderline-unintelligible ramblings and move on. Your brain will thank you. I think the Mods must be on a busy day or something... Maybe they just don't prioritise the Off-Topic section?

I've had an exceptionally short fuse as far as Yaskaraxx is concerned ever since he crashed the ship waifu thread for no other reason than I mentioned Asashio as the reason why I was not going to purchase Santa Boxes. Especially when he chose to harrass me on christmas day about it.

    PC port might be a problem, as I'm fairly certain Ninty themselves had a hand in Bayonetta 2 even existing. There's also an entire level in the game which is full-blown shout out to Star Fox, which (as a Smash player) you know is a Nintendo-owned property - so that would either have to be removed or swapped to an Afterburner shout out (a property owned by SEGA, who also own Bayonetta). Switch recommendations: LOZ Breath of the Wild. Splatoon 2 Super Smash Bros Ultimate Octopath Traveller Super Mario Party (fun for 3-4 players, kinda boring with only 1 or 2) Puyo Puyo Tetris (colourful fun puzzle games, online is dead though) These are just games I've played. Others would probably suggest: Dark Souls Remastered (Giant Dad-ing on the go) Super Mario Odyssey Kirby: Star Allies Mario Tennis Aces [Name a given WiiU port here] - they're all good, just first appeared on a crap console These are all I can think of right now, they are most certainly not exhaustive lists.

    If you want to try any of them Touhou 10 might be a struggle as it is a Bullet-Hell Shooter, a genre famous for requiring good twitch timing. Also, Touhou 10: Mountain of Faith is a bit of a black sheep in the franchise due to having a non-standard bomb system and the Final Boss's final bullet pattern actually being harder on Easy difficulty than on Normal; you'd be better off playing 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom or 11: Subterranean Animism, due to their easier Easy difficulty.
