    Important Question for MrConway

@MrConway Regarding your answer to questions on another topic: While I appreciate your answers to most of those questions, I'm afraid there was one important question you did not actually answer, although you believed you did. @___V_E_N_O_M___ posted the following question: To which you answered: That is not the answer he was looking for. He (and I, likewise) want to know if WG is in the right to not offer cash refunds for items paid for with real money. Many of us do not want doubloons in compensation, but actually would prefer to have our money back. I would not normally open a new thread for such a clarification, but unfortunately you actually closed the other thread due to an argument between two other posters.
  2. Two possible reasons: He's a moron who keeps on accidentally clicking 'delete account'. He's a moron who doesn't change his password to something his """""little brother""""" can't guess. Either way, he's a moron.
  3. Don't look at me. That idiot is just about stupid enough to let his """""little brother""""" delete his account for the third time in a row. We all need more smug neko loli in our lives.

Has this idiot seriously deleted his account for a third time?

[QUIZ] Meet the Ship of your Dreams

I got the same. I honestly think WG need to rethink the possible outcomes for "versatility".

You appear to have posted this response in the wrong thread. Still trying to post from your iPad?

I'm not necessarily going to watch all of it. Maybe only one-or-two episodes. It's fine, I feel like I was more rude to you the other day about the spoiler...
  8. 2) Well, I don't know when she got a retrofit either. And sorry I misninterpreted your question, it just seemed more like rhetoric with how it was phrased. 3) Baseball players don't tend to do that. In fact, how baseball teams are managed the pitchers and batters are treated completely differently. Think of them like the difference between strikers and goalies in football/soccer. 4) I was stating that I accept the first apology, and just giving an indication that the spoiler wasn't really something I cared about that much (in fact I have a bad habit of reading spoilers myself). Actually, the main issue I have is just uploading pictures outside of spoilers - mostly because I tend to browse this site at work and I don't particularly want my colleagues these arseholes looking over my shoulder and catching glimpses of artwork from the game (especially given a lot of it is risque). I wouldn't be surprised if there are many others on this site who are in a similar situation as me. I tend to upload from my PC anyway, as I find it easier to just drag'n'drop and then format my posts however I like.

    Anime

By coinkidink, thursday is my anime-and-pizza night, so yes. However, it depends on if I really feel like watching anime or just running through my YT susbscriptions. If I do watch anime, I will most likely be watching Jojo's season 4 (technically part 5), The Promised Neverland, A Certain Magical Index season 3, Gurazeni: Money Pitch, Golden Kamuy, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney season 2 or something else that's in my backlog.
  10. You're right, I didn't. Probably best to assume that if a ship has a retrofit then I am working on it (because I am). You could use the same argument to start discussing Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel spoilers openly, as the game came out in 2004. Still doesn't change the fact that many people are probably going into the films completely blind as they are released, so it's best not to discuss them openly. Similarly, I am working on getting all of the retrofits, and I would prefer to not be spoiled about any updated artwork (Bailey, for example, was an actual treat to see how much cuter she is when retrofitted). Why would a baseball pitcher have updated artwork that made her into a batter? She pitches her planes like baseballs, so having her swap to batting (for the life of me, I can't think of an allegory for a ship batting planes other than shooting them down) would make no sense. That's alright. I'm used to accidentally spoiling myself by clicking on those white boxes on TVTropes when I really shouldn't. Anyone want to know how the Oreshura anime ends? I haven't even watched episode one yet.

    New CVs

Potassium. Maybe I should change my earlier statement to "I suck at RTS gameplay, and I find it extremely boring". I am neither any good at RTS gameplay, nor do I actually find it fun or engaging. Click... Clickdrag... Click... Click... OhshitIhavebeendeplanedbyaneffingbot... Welp, time to suicide. FUN. (I frequently lost to T4 bot carriers in Co-op - so much so that I basically decided to stop the grind and just FreeXP to Ryuujou so I could keep her as a port decoration) By comparison to pre-0.8.0 CVs I actually find the new gameplay much more fun, although only having played Houshou thus far I don't really feel like I'm actually contributing much to the battle. Oh, and nothing in your statement addressed the fact that I said CVs were unbalanced before the 0.8.0 patch.

    Time to unistall this game.

I'd like for you to point out where I was being ignorant. Please, be my guest. What? Like we don't get the moronic "I'm leaving now" thread everyday. Why don't these people realise that no-one actually cares? Why can't they just silently go, instead of making a big deal out of nothing? Are their egos seriously that fragile? Also, to everyone who gave my earlier post a 'thumbs-down': Do you guys have a problem with the facts I gave, or the way I presented them? If it's the former, please do give some counter-arguments instead of just clicking a reaction button like a tool.

Communicating with sound signals - the ships horn!

He's referring to me, numbnuts. And @CptBarney is right, I seem to get just a little bit miffed whenever I am reminded that you still actively post on these forums.
  14. Huh, and here I was deliberately avoiding looking up her retrofit design so I could be surprised when I complete it. So much for the unwritten rule of keeping all of your pictures in spoilers.
  15. https://azurlane.koumakan.jp/Leander#Retrofit Underneath her skills list you will find a table of where she drops. She's also common in the light build pool. Does it count as tryharding when you build strong teams, just so you can rely on them to be safe in Auto mode?

Communicating with sound signals - the ships horn!

Yet another pointless Yaskaraxx thread. Whoo. The last time I heard someone toot their little tooter was when an enemy NCal (T8) decided he was going to banzai me in my Nelson (T7). Throwing away a top-tier to ram a mid-tier. Genius. I literally only bothered to post so I could post the following: I wish ships could T-pose.
  17. http://azurlanesanctuarygrossweebskeepout.blogspot.com/2018/09/azur-laneen-in-depth-equipment-guide_13.html If you really want to go into what equipment is best, check out this guide. Be aware that the gold stuff you most likely won't have for a while (although I got lucky and got a gold Akizuki 100mm twin gun pretty early).
  18. @CptBarney What Zem means by this is he has 400 ship slots, the vast majority of which are filled with duplicates for LMB-ing. @Panocek, I don't know if you've tried it out yet, but you can LiMit Break (LMB) your ships if you have duplicates of them. LMB-ing your ships makes them stronger, increases their level cap and increases their oil consumption. Also, if you haven't checked out the 'Collections' tab yet, there are also rewards for collecting sets of characters and LMB-ing them. The best one is probably collecting all of the starters (Javelin, Laffey and Z23) and fully LMB them gives you the fourth starter: Ayanami. Okay, so to begin with, I have no idea about your two Eagle Union BBs, so I won't comment on them. I also have no comment on Glowworm, only that I can only assume you are deliberately ramming a lot of enemies with that fleet. Considering your first fleet is comprised of 1 Ironblood (Z23), 3 RN (Hood, Belfast and Glowworm) and 1 Eagle Union (is that Tennesee?) you are wasting PoW's self-buff. If you were to swap Porkland, Indy and one of your backline from your second fleet into your first (replacing Hood) you could seriously buff PoW. As for your second fleet, I don't really have much to offer for suggestions. Vestal has a bonus to her healing ability if she's healing a Yorktown-class (i.e. Yorktown herself). You have Graf Zepplin, right? You could per her in, swap Zoe from Fleet 1 into Fleet 2 and then just find one more Ironblood front-row ship to get some use out of GZ's buff. But, that's just my opinion. You can do whatever you like, but just be aware that harder maps will require your fleets to have some degree of cohesion. Take my first fleet as an example:
  19. @CptBarney Your dock is fascinating and all, but I'm more interested in your PvE fleets.
  20. No, no, no. There's your mistake again. Sandy isn't a gold, she's as common as they come. See: Also, @Zemeritt, as you can see, Belfast is equally as common as Sandy.
  21. Okay, well I guess she would certainly be alright early on. You'll probably want to swap her out for someone better later on. Like Laffey. Yes, that is 'Lusty' herself.
  22. No, no, no. Ahaha, you've misunderstood somewhere. No, uhh, Sandy is more like a Glass AA Gun. She's not a 'cannon' by any stretch of the imagination. Sure, but I don't think anyone is going to claim Hood in an RN fleet equals Amagi in a Sakura Fleet.

DD tactics for 0.8.0, how do we survive?

I think I tried designating a sector with my AA off once and couldn't do it. Or maybe designating the sector instantly switched my AA back on? However, I think the game stores your designated sector even if you turn your AA off; so you could do as you described, but reverse the first two steps. This is working from memory, as I actually have not been in many CV battles in my DDs (I know, weird right?). EDIT to clarify: I've been in CV battles with DDs, but not many with DDs that have AA ranges exceeding their detection-by-air range. Thus, I tend to keep their AA switched on as there was no point in turning it off in the first place. In particular, AA-spec Fletcher seems to be an anti-CV charm, to keep away the CVs.
