    Not all of the maids are light. Suffolk would like to say hi. Your lack of taste shocks and apalls me. As much as I agree they could really use with a colour separation in addition to the little '+' symbol, I have no problem spotting which one's which. Guess it helps if you know what they were historically. 1) The one who's stripped down to her sports bra and is basically flashing her bum at you? I'm sure she doesn't just 'Make you smile'. 2) I'm sure I've mentioned this already, but the core data shop is a permanent fixture that resets every month.     He's admonishing me for suggesting that someone might only be marrying shipgirls for stats. Hey, I'm here assuming @Panocek isn't a weeb like the rest of us, and as such I'm pointing out that there is a reason to pick a waifu beyond just being sad and lonely. Don't look at me like I spent my free ring on Ping Hai because she's top-tier or something. Smh.

    Buy gems for Dorm Slots and Port Slots. Trust me, with 220+ (last time I checked) shipgrils in the game and more on the way, you will need more slots. Also, giving your favourite ships rings increases their maximum affection and thereby also increases their maximum stat boost from affection. Oh, and be aware when you 'purge': there are collections you can find on the main screen that give you bonuses from holding on to shipgrils and LMBing them. Oh, and to help sweeten the deal of buying gems: the 'double gems' bonus applies to each of the options you see on the purchase screen seperately. E.g. I have bought both the $10 pack and the $20 pack and have received bonus gems on two individual occasions; furthermore I can see on my screen that ALL of the remaining options still have the 'double gems' bonus available:

    Coincidentally, Jamaica was also the first build I had of the event. Which is great as I like dark-skinned anime characters. This is just a general question to my fellow Shikikans, not particularly addressed to you, Panocek: Is it weird that our newbie who started three weeks ago has already started their foxmines grind, while I, who started back in late September (when the game went into full release), have yet to even look at 3-4 since 3-starring it all those months ago? I feel like the AL playerbase must look at me like some kind of weirdo for just not being interested in the foxes. Actually, in general I've been avoiding drop-only shipgirls, I've only just started grinding 6-4, but even then I'm actually only doing it on hard mode for CV blueprints and gold quad 610mm torpedo tubes designs. EDIT: Just to point out to you, Panocek, how lucky you are to have started late: Back when we started the game, the 'Safety' guage was not implemented. No matter how many times we completed a level, it would stay just as difficult as the first time we played it.

    Sorry for double-post. I made a mistake. You mean the Ironblood ones? Yeah, I gots bunches and bunches o' dem. I've heard the roombas are better, but I've yet to get any higher than purple. I don't consider any torpedo to be capable of going obsolete. You can still face torp with them, even if they don't home in. Yeah, I've read about the purple triple 406. Best BB gun in the game, apparently. Also, wasn't the purple helldiver supposed to be a really good divebomber, too?

    That's fair, but there are some of us started with EN so we might not have quite the stockpiles of gear yet. Just the other day I remember I was bored of playing 6-2 farming gold belgun blueprints, so I randomly raided my store of 60-odd gold Sakura boxes and after opening 20 I got two(!) more gold belguns. Finally! My chinameme team has its guns sorted! Now to move on to 6-1 to get gold radars... Never underestimate the power of just getting a piece of equipment instead of farming designs for it. Especially gold equipment with the requirement of getting 15 designs that drop so damn rarely... @Taschkent_ said that they haven't played for a while, and chances are high they played on CN/JP, so if they are playing they will be playing a different event to us right now.

    My best friend once threatened to make a manga about his family life; honestly, such a thing would read more like tragedy than comedy. I'm curious as to how you would even form such a manga. Comedy? Drama? Using posters' avatars as their faces? (would be weird for those who don't have actual faces for avatars)

    I'm more-or-less the same; I don't really have time to sit and read manga these days, so I try to stick with anime where possible. However, I really need to catch up with Hayate the Combat Butler, as I haven't read the manga in over a year. Also, in the months since I read the first two volumes of (the official English Translation of) Fobidden Scrollery, there have been three more released with one more coming soon.

    She has a complex about being small. Ryoubi and Yomi have the biggest bottoms, Murasaki has the biggest boobies. Well, at least it's good to know we're getting Subs and the increased level cap this year. Core Data is not an event. It's a new type of shop that refreshes every month. That torpedo is VERY worth it. It provides an impressively large flat bonus to the equipped shipgirl's torpedo stat, which is a complicated way of saying it makes your torpedoes do a lot more damage. Even better if you can get two of them! Gold gear is worthless? That's news to me. Surely something that is the same as other gear, but better basically means it cannot be crappy? Even if you don't want the gear you get, you can always scrap it for T3 plates.

    This, all the way. Firstly, planes don't need to know when they're spotted by something invisible as much as surface ships do. It's not like ships can fire their AA from stealth. Secondly, in the past one of the CVs main balances vs DDs was the fact that they didn't know their planes were spotted, thus DDs had a form of counter-play.

    He 31 knot burke skill is hilarious when paired with the 'Little Beavers' badge you get from the collection. I should really consider giving that badge to someone more in need of it, though... The girls' Shinobi Transformations allow them to transform into their ideal form to grant a power boost. It just so happens that Ryoubi also uses hers to get gert berg terts. Also, Ryoubi might look cute, but she's a sadist who would shoot you full of holes if you ever brought up her bust size. Still, she's proud of having the joint-biggest butt in the series (with Yomi).

    You sure about that? I've had about 4-5 Sandys drop and neither Kamikaze nor Hatsushimo have showed up. Although, I'm not too worried about Kamikaze, as she's in the normal build pool so I'll get her eventually.

    I haven't said a thing about it, I haven't even watched it yet. You need to try and remember the difference between different people, Taschkent. Albacore is still the worst. She's basically a loli in an almost-falling-off microbikini. Actually, I wouldn't even suggest looking at Albacore's art unless you're using Tor Browser. Never know when the feds are going to bust through your wall if you're just using a normal browser. Really? Looks like they're standing on the pedals of a bicycle to me.

    Any character we are receiving in EN has probably already been available on JP/CN for a while. Therefore, you can check out what they do by browsing the wiki. Illustrious has two fighter slots and a preeeetty nice vanguard shield skill. Genville doesn't appear to have anything particularly interesting going on. Unless you're into titty DDs. I would be a Sentoku-class Submarine. With the CV rework undergoing live seatrials and submarines on the horizon, I really hope we get a premium Sentoku-gata. Actually, I will probably buy it day one, regardless of how crap it is in-game.

    Stats are not everything. Looking at her skills, Victorious seems built more to do damage to BBs, while taking less from BBs in return. Meanwhile Illustrious still has two fighter slots, and thus is still amazing at AA. Not only that, but Illustrious' 'Armoured Carrier' skill is still one of the best defensive skills in the game.
