Let's just say I've survived full salvos I'm 99% certain should have killed me. Almost like the extra 5% dispersion just makes BB salvos that little bit more troll-y. I have no imperical evidence, only gut feels, sadly.

I only noticed because I posted on this thread this time last year. I was like "Wait, when did I write that?" and then I saw the date of it.

She's a Robot Girl. I'm quite fond of robot girls myself. And the page image for the above link is the first one I fell for: Aegis/Aigis from Persona 3. So I'm thinking Gascy might be second pick for me. -
'Hostile' isn't quite the right word. I'd put my money on they just don't understand how popular KanColle is outside of Japan. That and they are perfectly aware of how much they are glossing over Japan's role during the war and are trying to avoid and negative repurcussions of this. If you had seen KanColle """Gameplay""" I highly doubt you would be so sure about playing it. I would describe it as a slideshow dictated by a random number generator: there is very little player input besides equipping your shipfus, "Night Battle: Y/N", and "Continue Sortie: Y/N". Also, no Yortown (yet). Oh, and you know how you can let your shipfus sink in AL without worry? In KC they will permanently die, no if's and's or but's. On the subject of grindy games, I'd recommend checking out console exclusives as well as indie games, as they tend to understand how to keep peoples interest through means other than grind. Don't forget that one of the things I don't like about modern Japan is the tendency of "Historical Revisionism" with regards to the second world war. You would be lucky to find a single Japanese person who actually knows what the IJA did during that time. You'd be more likely to find Nationalistic Japanese outright in support of restoration of their former military regimes. But I'm not saying that's why KanColle doesn't have a true western release, it's just another theory. A GAME TH- *shot* Have you checked out the Ship Waifu thread in Off-Topic? https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/64147-favorite-shipgirl-kancolleazur-lane-arpeggio-of-blue-steelhaifuri/?page=315 We tend to discuss AL most of the time there, but we do occasionally talk about KC too, whenever there's a new seasonal event or new shipfus. Oh and it's always refreshing to talk about Haifuri instead. You're like waaaaay out of touch with KC, then. They've been doing Allied ships for a few years, though mostly through seasonal events. Again, 'Hostile' isn't the word I would use. But the KC devs kinda have it coming, given how long they've left it and how AL has cornerstoned the overseas market. Hell, does anyone remember the Pacific KC fanwork? What about Victory Belles? Nobody remembers the stuff trying to imitate KanColle, because the people who care have already emigrated to Azur Lane.

Not explicitly stated, but hinted at. I'm still looking at completing PR1 first, though, and as I said: that's going to have to wait for Yuubari's retrofit... Actually, who is everyone's first pick for PR2 ship to grind? I'm guessing most of us will go for FdG for meta or Gascogne/Azuma for waifu. Me? I'm going for Kitakaze. -

Same here. It actually makes this a possibility: Similarly, I'm not against free stuff, but I haven't been able to focus on the light build pool for more than one week at a time for several months (probably nearing a year at this point) and as such I'm missing a fair few ships that have been added to the pool in the meantime. Actually, the majority of ships missing from my collection are from the light build pool, aside from four/five event-only builds (Nagato, Jean Bart, Essex and Zeppy +U-47 if she doesn't drop before Thursday) I'm missing most of the Clevelands (Columbia I don't have but is a map drop, Birmingham I have but was event build, I'm not counting Cleveland due to her being available everywhere) I don't have Lena, no Black Prince, the list goes on. Meanwhile I have basically everything from Large/Special pools because almost all event pools use the Large Pool as a base and I used my second wishing well getting U-81 and Centaur from the Special pool. Also, building from the light pool is the most efficient way to save coins and cubes while still getting the build daily missions, and I'd like to save up above 150 cubes for the first time in about 9 months. -

Just in time for PR2 in December! Also, I now have both Jinstuu and Sendai and I'm currently raising them in the dorm to get them retrofitted (they are my last two retrofits for a 100% retrofit list!). Although (as I'm sure I've said before countless times) I'm now waiting on Yuubari's retrofit before I start grinding for Ibuki. If I'm only going to use these ships once, I might as well use them all now for this one prupose. I'm still grinding 11-3 for extra copies of Sendai just so I don't have to spend any bulins on her for LMB and retrofits. In particular I'm grinding the level with my CVL Rangers meme team (RJ as Pink Ranger, Ranger as Red Ranger, Centaur as Yellow Ranger, Yukikaze as White Ranger, Ardent as Blue Ranger and Sirius as Black Ranger). In other news, does anyone here care about this Hololive collab? I never thought I'd actually think this before about a collab event, but I think I might just skip it and save my cubes and coins. I got all of the Neptunia ships as well as all of the Kizunas, but Hololive is literally something I first heard about when it was confirmed on the AL EN twitter, and as such I'm seriously considering just giving the whole event a hard pass. -

[ENDING 29/11] Don't Miss the Chance to Get "High School Fleet" Ships and Commanders!

Yay. I purchased Musashi back in January thinking I had unlocked the Y118 camo with the collection, only to be disappointed that I had missed my chance with the end of the license. Now I'm happy I've got my second chance at having the Y118, even if it's more than I would've liked to spend (also, now I have two Moekas...). Anyway, that's it for my spending on this game for the rest of the year. And indefintely, depending on how subs turn out. -
I don't undestand why you don't like odd numbers, especially when all of the numbers you have posted on have been good ones. 125 is 53 or "Five cubed". Basically, if you had a cube with verteces all of length 5m, the internal volume of the cube would be 125m3. 89 and 127 are both great because they're prime numbers - numbers that can only be divided cleanly by themselves and 1. Interesting fact about prime numbers: the first prime number is 2, which is even. Note that the first prime is not 1, as the requirements to being prime specifically require two numbers - the number itself and 1, and 1 is only divisible by itself. Numbers are fun.

You tryin to beat Subs to the punch?

I'm in the same boat. I'm just getting all of the useful consumables and not paying it any more attention. I've already stopped playing event stages since getting the medal (I wasn't strong enough to get it on my first run of the event). Now I just want U-47 to drop. I've managed to get the two I missed last time (Doitsuland and Shiro) and U-557 is a point reward so I have no issue with her, it's just the lone wolf sub giving me trouble this time. Oh and dropping even one copy of Zeppelin gave me flashbacks to the first run of the event... -

I am aware, I was trying to be more specific than just "evasion enhancing gear" as it's a simple fact the hydraulic/powered steering is the best of the bunch. And as soon as I typed that I remembered the Beaver Badge, which is also very good, but more limited than the hydraulic/powered steering (in the sense you can only get one of them). -
... *Checks inside shirt* Huh. *Checks inside pants* Well s. Maybe if I switch to Astolpho they'll grow back? That's the Hex Maniac generic trainer type from the 6th gen Pokemon games (Pokemon X and Y). She's popular amongst the fanbase for being cute and creepy. Most of it was just you and @Yoshanai spamming pages 2 and 3. I kept casually browsing this mess during work, and was amazed at how much you two can prattle on about nothing. Look at it, look at the mess you made: Well, I can't help you clean that up, I've got to get back to running @El2aZeR's firmware update I mean filing my employer's end-of-year accounts. Yeah, that.

I've come to assume it stands for "Advanced Armament" as opposed to "Anti-Air", because otherwise it doesn't make much sense. You'd probably want to plump for the 'powered steering' equipment to maximise her tankiness, alongside the toolkit. -

Maybe I shouldn't have put so much emphasis on that... My overall point was that the Limited Run Games page is specifically for the US Special Edition, and it's not necessary to buy that one as the EU Special Edition will be available in a few months. Regardless of which version you get, the localised version of the game isn't coming out until next year. This is false. In all my collection of PS3/PS4 games, I can think of only one that was region-locked (Persona 4 Arena) which was an exception rather than the rule. Actually, that particular region locked game pissed off the fanbase so badly (with it just generally being mismanaged, especially the EU version) that they chose not to region-lock the sequel (Persona 4 Arena Ultimax). I also have several Japanese games in my collection for PSP/PS3/PS4 that I have played on my EU PSP/PS3/PS4. Having said that, DLC is region-locked to the PS Store of the region you bought the game from. For example, I cannot purchase the DLC for my copies of Dragon's Crown and Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match on my EU PS Store account, on account of them being US and AS (non-Japan/China Asian) versions respectively. -

No, that's the countdown for preordering the US PS4 Limited Edition version. The EU limited edition will be on sale on IFI's store page sometime in the new year. The release date is still sometime in Q1/Q2 2020. -

I even shortened my screenname to make it easier for people to remember... The game has been out in Japan for a few months, but as my Japanese is not up to the standard required to fully understand the game I'm waiting for the EU release. Which is a long way of saying "I don't know". Loz says soz. In other news, as if I didn't already have plenty of reasons to spend my gems on Idol skins: Kirei naa. -

There already is an IRL Japanese ship from the WW2 era named Tsushima. Tsushima of the Etorofu-class Kaiboukan. Note that Kaiboukan were all named after islands, while battleships were all named after Japanese provinces. No Japanese ships were named after battles. Loz out. -
For an epic 1v1v1, skip to 10:26. That had me on the edge of my seat.
