well, topic aside this is what I was hoping for at tier 5 as a Premium or something. HMS Agincourt aka The Gin Palace - it might be as slow as an asthmatic snail, and the armour is not as good as its peers and has no AA to speak off at all but 14 x 12-inch guns will leave its mark. also has served with the UK, Brazil and Turks* it will appeal to WG's wider audience.

Indeed - saying no Radar and then thinking it will compete versus the 16" derp guns or 18" even is not great, but with radar, good accuracy so that more on your 15" do hit, and godly secondaries - it will be competitive as it will keep the DD/CV's away longer to get more shots accurately downrange and even up the scores. - Vanguard is not designed to play as a brawler but rather a multi-role BB

1 - not really, Vanguard without radar just would not work, might as well lower her down to tier 7 with pre 41 ships, its daft. - the others you mention have aspect that matter, Missy and her guns etc. Vanguard is all about this, and having all ships the same is boring frankly. - also a ship is only as good as its captain. 2- problem with making Dreds a tier 2 is the same in reverse, then she is a dreadnought in a pre-dreadnought era of ships! T3 with T3 MM preferential would work as she has enough to get her by at that tier but not versus tier 4 (a bit like Valentine MM in WOT etc)

I think Nelson is fine for Tier 6 or 7 (depending on soft stats etc) - Rodney as a Premium or something (WG wont miss a trick there) Bit worried the top Two won't have armour to stand up to their rivals - time will tell Vanguard, part of me really doesn't want to see it at 8 simply from a historical point of view, but given its 'good' points are sea handling, secondaries and radar systems i thinK these makeup for the smaller guns than avg at tier 8 with better accuracy, godly secondaries (esp when spec'd) and yes Radar, not having it is removing one of the main things about this ship. There are of course a % of players who don't give a toss about the history and think that WG should add or remove anything but Vanguard without Radar is stupid. Dreadnought... This is a tricky one, most tier 3's are post-Dread's so by default it will be lacking - however, as a Tier 3 premium with Dedicated MM it could work, dunno, its got a few good features but overall i feel it will suffer versus the regular Tier 3 BB's - That or give her a good secondary rating with her 12pdr's to keep DD's away. The rest meh, well see, i would have liked Agincourt tbh, simply as 14 guns is nice.. very nice.
