About 30 mins ago, I was disconnected from the game, and a screen popped up with the following message: Error Connecting to Server. Server Temporarily Unavailable. Please Try Again Later. CONNECT. I pressed the indicated connect button, and Connecting To Server came up, but after a few seconds I was returned to the Error Connecting To Server screen. I logged out of the game completely, waited 2 mins and restarted the game. As soon as the Loggin In alert came up, I was redirected back to the Error Connecting To Server screen again. I can't find any posts which indicate other people are having the same trouble. Is there a problem with the Log In server ?

Thank you, that worked. I used the Fix command from the game centre and afterwards went into the game. All screens now load, although the Game Browser Hardware Acceleration is still greyed out. Ahh well, many thanks again for the help.

I've tried to get an answer on the General Forum, but in summary I just get told that the problem occurred some months ago and was fixed in a patch. However, no one can tell me how to 'fix' this problem now. While in the Port , in game, when I try to access the following screens, I get the Circle with the Anchor in the middle, and the white dot circling that icon, but the screen doesn't actually load. I sit there for minutes at a time and eventually have to press ESC to go back to the Port. The screens are: Armoury, Inventory, Premium Shop, News, Purchase Premium and all Profile screens. I was told to tick the box next to Settings / Game Browser Hardware Acceleration , but that box is greyed out and I can't select it. I've tried changing many of the settings above the Game Browser Hardware Acceleration, but nothing works, the box remains greyed out. I'm trying to buy Dubloons as I want to retrain some of my Commanders, but I'm getting very frustrated by this problem. I don't see why I should have to keep Alt - Tab to windows to access these pages on the official site when I should be able to access them in game. I also want to sell my cammos to gain funds, but this is impossible at the moment. Please help

Anyone else having this problem or can give me a work around: In the Port, I select Armoury, Premium Shop or News and the screen changes to that circle with the anchor in it and the twirly thing going round and round that indicates that it is trying to access the required page, but it just sits there and doesn't go to the Armoury / Premium Shop / News screen. I've let it sit there for over 5 mins while I go make a cup of coffee, watching the screen periodically, but it never changes from that circle with the twirly thing. I've played a few games and tried again, same result. Over a 4 hour session, every time I finished a match, I tried to access those 3 screens, but I just get the twirly thing. It sits there for ages until I get bored and ESC back to Port. This has been going on for quite a few days now. I have managed to access News ONCE in 2 or 3 days, but nothing else. Asking for help on this one, please !

To Klopirat: From the Port, I went to Options / Graphics but the Game Browser Hardware Acceleration box is Greyed Out. It's currently unselected, but I can't select it's tick box. I tried changing the settings above it, for example Anti Aliasing and changing the settings above it to High, but the box remains greyed out. I've no idea what I have to do to get this box selectable. I've only had this problem for the last few days, I can't understand what has changed to make it impossible for me to access News / Armoury or Premium Shop. If I can't resolve it via the player base in this section of the forum, I'll try Customer Support. Thanks for replying anyway.

I only play Destroyers and primarily the Destroyers whose Torpedo Range is larger than my Detected Range. As a result, I only need those two range markers on my mini map. I don't need the Main Battery Firing Range marker on my mini map as, with guns selected, I'll know if I'm in Gun Range by the auto target selection of the enemy I'm looking at, if it's in range, the target icon comes up. What I want to know is how to turn off the Main Battery Firing Range marker on my mini map ? It will not deselect when you open the minimap settings via the little icon above the minimap. I was told 'in game' that the option had been disabled. I tried looking through old posts, one of which suggested changing Preferences / MiniMap mgRangeMarker to FALSE. But I'm now told that that mgRangeMarker is no longer a part of Preferences. I was then told to install a specific mod, but I'm not confident in doing that. I really want to disable the option to display Main Battery Firing Range from the minimap and cannot understand why disabling it is no longer an option. Any help, please !
