I saw the stream in question and it was absolutly obvious, that it wasnt serious. I get what you are saying but if even during community streaming activities we have to be 100% correct and sensible then where is the fun. Do we really want life to be so boring and restricted, that we have to think 50 times about every word, before we actually open our mouth?

Are you that thick? Ive said it 514636146 in this forum that radar not penetrating the island makes it harder for DDs. Yet you insist that im some kind of elitst and throw around the gid gud argument. You are literally incapbale of understanding, why the change you are rooting for doesnt make it easier but harder for DDs! Is it still too hard for you to understand? How about YOU finally leave your standpoint of "IM RIGHT EVERYONE ELSE IS WROOOONG" and try to ackowledge other peoples arguments? You are literally the one that denies everyone else, that doesnt agree with you, a discussion, because you drift into personal attacks or do this right away: Every single one of your posts in this topic starts with a complete "stfu your are wrong, im right" attitude and you attack me for having a "king of the hill" attitude? lol check yourself dude. -

whos arrogant? And you entire last post is a personal attack on me. Cant attack the argument so must attack the person. right, gotcha. And once again: If you have a problem, finding out where the radar cruiser is, its a problem with your gameplay. Its you lacking skill, map & situational awareness. You can moan about people beein "arrogant" when pointing it out, or making absolutly laughable statements like bottomline is: its a learn to play issue, and you aint getting out of this one, no matter how hard you try to shoehorn the arguments and attack everyone that confronts your with the truth. -

Yea sure. we are wrong. Maybe check my and his DD winrate in the last 18 month and start thinking about the things you wrongfully assume. Describing yourself as a DD-main and beeing so far of the mark is akward. -

Would it be possible for you to react to those points, where you have been proven 100% wrong? But you ignoring that kinda shows everyone, that you admit to beeing wrong on that part anyway. I remember something similar to your example and I then did bring up his stats. That person wasnt aware, that you can even check your own stats, winrate etc. He admitted, it was confermation bias and thanked me for sharing the link to the stat page. I dont really like him myself, but when I saw him saying that, I had to think hard and came to the conclusion: Damn, he is absolutly right. It actually changed my life xD -

I dont think its about a change - its about making clear, where the line is drawn. Some are under the impression, that you cant post any stats. Other think, you may only do so, if the stats are good (which is the most weird defintion, imo) and there prolly are quite a few other views around. What you describe as "dragging through the mud" is not something Id like to be seen as approriate and I dont think that was the intention of OP: Thats true for that one example, yet there are indefinte other situations out there, where citing stats might be helpful. Imagine a guy with 39% and one with 41% arguing, if Kurfürst with secondary build or tank build is better. They might even do so in a friendly manner, both with the goal of learning something. So if they cite each others stats to show, which build is better in what case - you gonna ban them both for stat-shaming? Because they are posting stats with a 39% WR? See thats the other side of the coin. -
what @DFens_666 said - you played against 80% bots so far in T1 to T4. You should stick to low tiers and get out of the protection for new players (which ends at 75 games). Then you will face real humans in low tier games aswell and get a real feeling for the game - which is needed to get a perspective of lines. Its way too early for you to think about T6+ .

Fully agree. My personal view is clear: as long as you dont use the stats to insult or redicule a person, it should be ok. Ive done this a couple of times, just pointing at the facts, and ive never been sanctioned for it. Had to argue about it once, but it went through. As it should, imo. But we need clear rules as to whats the "red line". Also - if one doesnt like his stats to be accessable to the public, he was the option to hide it. So by not hiding them, you kinda give your consent, that people see them? I mean its not like if a person posts a picture of someones stats he is doing some leaking, right? Everyone can go and check them. But yea, bottomline: posting any sort of stats, as long as they are open to the public, shouldnt be a problem. No personal attacks, making fun of, etc tho. I kinda hope this will be the policy. -

Whats an "OP ship" - somehow I think, we will not have the same list here. Again: you think, anyone raises up into super unicum ranges just because of the ship. Its wrong. You dont know how to play DD - you aint gonna have a 57% WR in kamikaze. Easy as that. Again Ill post a list of the worst WR players in Kamikaze: Somewhere earlier you mentioned Cesare. Past 18 month: I have higher average damage on Kongo then on Cesare. I often prefer to play Kongo over Cesare, since she has strenghts the Cesare doent have. Range. Health pool. This shouldnt happen according to you. Unless you are wrong and its actually the player that makes the ship and not vice versa. -

Sadly only in russian. You would need to use a translator plug in. Some in my clan use Chrome for that, there it seems to work quite easy. -

That is not what I said. If you want a comment on that - its much more complex. You put 3 guys with 50% WR in a division - nothing much will happen. Depending on how good their teamplay sense are, they might get 1 or 2 % more WR out of it. Or it will happen what happened to you. If you put sub-par players together in a division, they will reach SUPER-sup-par results. Those are the worst players in 3x division on the EU server "infalte" WR? yes, inflate in a negative sense. If you think, just by playing in a division your WR will magically rise - you are sadly mistakes. And I have to call you out, because it sounds like you are playing a blame game here "oh yea, those guy isnt better then I am. he only plays division. that explains his WR" This is me again, Jan 2019 untill today, all random games. If you think, that the only reason my WR in the 4 classes is 80/80/78/78% is only due to divisions, then yea, see above. And just to point out another thing, which I noticed: you keep mentioned "OP ships". I can see you are envy about people that have Belfast, Cesare, Kamikaze etc. You somehow also think, they get a better PR by playing those ships. Its quitethe opposite actually. Its much harder to get a 2500 PR with Bourgogne then it is with Kurfürst. ll have to throw you "thats a fact" on this one, if you want to dispute it, please do some reasearch on the ships and their stats. Next. You also think, "OP ships" get a better WR just because. Again, ill point at myself. A few selected ship, that are included in that above Winrate: They are performing exactly on the expected level of my WR in the last 18 months. Some even above. Is Fletcher OP according to you? Chapayev? Monarch?? Maybe its time for you to realize, that there is more to beeing a good player then "having OP ships and inflating WR in a division". Once you accept this, you might be read to move to a green Winrate yourself. -

... You still did not understand, that there is no such thing as overall PR. The individual ships make the PR. I gave you, i dont know, 7? 8? clear examples by now, how skewed PR can be yet you dont get it. no? This is what I find with literally 20 sec of looking. Your arguments dont make sense... Think whatever you want. Go look at my solo stats and think, you are a better player then I am. Ill just hope we meet in randoms and I can tear you a new one. Maybe thats whats needed to blow your cardhouse down. the cardhouse, thats already lying on the floor btw. Right in the trap. I knew you was going to say that. Oopsie. look at this: everyone in the Bourgonge PR range of ~1575 is actually a unicum: And big surprise: most Kurfürst players with a 1650 PR hurt their team. There are even people with a red winrate of 46% and below in that range. Could make a screenshot that blows the forum out of proportion since its hundreds of players but you can go and check the ship stats on wows numbers yourself. Oh yea, because PR is totally a constant. Now wait - we already proved above, that PR is fluctuating. Need another example? not that you wouldnt try to sneak yourself out of it again. Ill go with myself. Damn so low damage, so low PR. Now you will say (im gonna make the call in advance this time, to spare us one back and forth reply, mkay) - division - low sample size - lucky And ill make all your "points" invalid by this: My PR used to be ~2000 on those 5 games. The color of the 35k damage was turquoise. Why? because I played Hosho prior to the insane buffs. Now im losing PR with every day passing, eventhough im not even playing. And the color of my damage went over dark green to green to now yellow. Why? because PR isfluctuating. It based on the average performance of the ship at ALL times, not at a specific moment. You wanna say, my bad PR shows im not good? lel, back then, it was a more then decent result. It was enough to dominate the game, becaus guess what: the enemy Hosho was a 1-torp-per-drop-CV aswell. So my match influence was bigger because I was more skilled and thus... gave me my deserved higher Winrate. The Winrate stayed, attesting my match influence at that specific time, PR fluctuated down because WG overbuffed the ship and the Meta changed. I rest my case. -

Eeh you do understand, that PR is directly conected to each specific ship, right? Lets have a look. Bourgogne. This guy. 124 battles in the ship. 138k average damage, 67,74 % WR. decent enough. Man what a bad PR. Next dude. in a Kurfürst Weird. PR = skill. Isnt he the better player, accoring to you? Isnt the first guy driving around "sealclubbing" with his "OP" ship, which doesnt show any skill? Where did you logic fail here, can you explain it to us please? -

His video shows, how a world withour island penetrating radar would look like. As a DD, you have no chance of telling, if there is a radar cruiser behind the island, if the radar is active, when it was active. The cruiser however sits there, wits, looks at the cap circle: oh, it turns red. All he has to do now is rush ahead, activate radar and shredd the DD. As in the video. The DD has no counter play against non-island penetrating radar. Its something, many people dont understand. It actually works in favour of the DD. -

Its easy. PR is a completly inflated, from skill disconected statistic. It doesnt take into account HOW and on WHAT Ive dealt my damage. Ive used this example before. Ive had a game with Takao at some point, with 3 DDs per side. All our 3 DDs died in the first minutes, all enemy DDs were alive and healthy. I played my a$$ off to try and win this for us. I knew: I had to get rid of the DDs. They spot, they took all the caps, my team could do nothing. So I for examaple predicted the movement of one DD based on my RPF - torp hit. I rushed the 2nd one in his smoke and the third I surprised, coming around an island, because I predicted his position by RPF again. We won. Ive dealth 35k damage, got 1 kill (two DDs were finished on my spotting - PR of 1300 or such. Now lets go on to your "PR proves skill, WR doesnt" - Winning this game was all me, even if that sounds bold. Thus my skill gave me the win - PR is low because I didnt farm damage. I could hat sat back and sling HE on some BBs. losing the game but maybe getting 80...100k damage. With a higher PR. This does infact prove quite the opposite: WR is skill, PR isnt. Oh an btw: when you play in 3x divis with skilled players, it will automatically decrease your PR. Because you have 2 other super unicums (atleast) on your team, which compete for your damage. You have always less damage then playing solo = lower PR. Just another proof, how PR is disconnected from Skill. And to put one more up (I can go all day): I can just sit in the back with Yamato and sling HE all game. Ill survive forever and farm huge amount of fire damage. It will give me a super high PR. While infact, Id completly suck skillwise and drag my team down. PR = skill? lel. -
