    Well, I personally criticize Venezia often enough. I already saw during her early testing, how discusting that ship is, when I was in divi with Crysantos, spotted a DD with my Gearing for him and he just took it out with one shot. Seriously, I was rather perplex and had to think a couple of seconds about what actually happened there. SAP is a stupid concept in the first place. On top we have Venezia as a plattform, that has way too many guns and too much range because reason. But in Clanbattles, the bigger problem is CVs (and this topic is kinda about CVs in CBs, so no wonder people focus on that). But if you really want my opinion about the other ships: Stalin isnt really too strong itself. Problem is, that she is classified as a cruiser and thus matched against them aswell. Think about this: if Stalin would be in the BB-class - would it be concidered strong? Nah, people would call her weak. Kremlin has the overly tanky concept. Super-quick DCP is one thing, super tanky armor another. Each of them could be justified in the game. But combine them both... It always for this braindead, bow-in playstyle, where the worst player can perform decent, eventhough he actually lacks real skill. Smolensk I dont see as OP. Its good to farm stupid players, that sit somewhere bow in and DCP the first fire (unless its before mentioned Kremlin). Ship didnt impress me at all, I prefer Henri or Minotaur over Smolensk every day of the week. Which I actually do in all game modes, from Randoms over Ranked to Clan Battles.

    Well. Talking about clanbattles, a statement like this is a little bit dishonest and I can point out why: Yes, ofc clans will field the ship(s), that they see most powerful. [lets ignore that not everyone has all ships available etc]. There is nothing wrong with that. The thing is this: before reworked CVs came into clanbattles, there were many different opinions about what ship(s) is/are the most viable. Which resulted in vastly different line ups. Now, with CVs, this choice was narrowed down by force (from above). First it was Venezia on T10, then Graf Spee on T6. The numbers dont lie on this one so please, if you want to be taken serious, then paint the whole picutre.

    Ranked Season! So its time to grab le vin et le baguette, hum the french national anthem and play Henri Quatre the only way I know how to: Like an ubersized yolo-torpedoboat Must have missed double strike by a few seconds! Rushed the island and torped both sides, one side killed Des Moines, other the Moskva. And my reload booster was slapping the Halland - who sadly made it behind the island.

    Yea, that stuff is indeed tricky. Also depends on the engine and what abilites you have. So its hard for us to make suggestions, since we just have no insight on how it all works. I played some games based on the LithTech Jupiter EX engine, which had some nice flaws aswell. Like just keep rubbing yourself on a solid wall for long enough, and eventually you will get through - worked best at corners. On some maps, you could then walk around in the off space between the actual rooms - and even shoot people from there :D

    Me? and avg player? How come you accuse me & my mates of having aim cheats then? People like you dont understand how damage works, easy as that. Cleary you dont understand fully, how to play. You arguing like this, soley based on damage, is enough proof, that im actually the better player between the 2 of us :) You dont stand a chance if we meet. And we already saw that. So what are you left with then?

    This really needs to be fixed. its horrible to be stuck in such a situation, especially when its clanbattle... Maybe the island could just get simpler, straigther colision models, so it would be like bumping into the side of another ship. But introducing thrusters sounds like a good idea aswell... not realistic for the ships we play but who cares? how are the chances for that? :D @MrConway .

    I think you are confused. The one who provided the argument, was you. In the sense, that you showed even ingame, that you cant control your temper. btw: you should start learning how to play a Hindenburg, so you aint gonna be first blood all the time, beeing farmed away from a Worcester. And then actually act like the "10 y.o that has nothing [else] to say". Ever thought about that? Or you gonna keep complaining about the "poor matchmaker" because you send your team on the losing slide every game?

    The only argument you have, is, that we are all paied by Wargaming and thus defending their "rigged matchmaking" and you are the only poor soul left outside, whos getting nothing and has to suffer. Thats one of the weidest consiracy theories ive heard in the long time.

    Well, first of all, he didnt ask for the campaign to be repeatable. So whats the harm, if its available permanently? Doesnt give you enough steel to get any ship, especially after they removed the cheaper one. So its just a way close the gap of missing steel. Something really bothers you about the idea, that someone driving around a Stalingrad only earned 80% of that steel through ranked & clan battles and bought the rest? We get steel through daily missions these days anyway, completly unreleated to individual skill. Where is the big deal at this point? More content = more things to do = more player playing more games = win/win.

    I think this hits the nail on the head right here, its also what I was thinking about. With all over high tier heavy cruisers or AP cruisers, you get some sort of gimmick, that is much more worth then the better pen, that Riga has on paper. Compare it to IJN cruisers, who have way better dispersion. The US AP has heavy AP shells with improved angles, which makes a huge difference. Donskoi gets better reload and has more guns. Brindisi has SAP, else we would have people crying about Brindisi beeing useless aswell. Saint-Louis has the HE advantage in combination with the reload booster, which makes a huuuge difference if you manage to use it perfectly. Only one that comes close, is Roon.

    Yea ofc, look at those Yamato-Players: one of them ive had once in Randoms, the other happens to be right next to him in the overall stats so I suspect the same gameplay, which was: turn your yamato around, head for the map border and shoot HE only. Such great player(s). Who cares about WR, k/d, kills and other things? Damage matters! Btw Yamato avg is 83 880 so the one is even "above average". wooow.

    How to play T10 radar cruiser and not get blapped

    Not really. Because positioning is something, that Alaska also needs and profits from, to be really useful. Those heavy US cruisers have a very distinctive playstyle, I like to call them oppotunists. Sometimes you just want to keep your guns silent, especially when you are unsure about whats able to shoot you from where. On the other hand, DM can pick a fight (and win) with any ship in this game, if she can dictate the rules of engagement. Its simply a matter of learning and experiance, where to position, how to position and which fights to pick. But you seem to be on the right track, since you are asking all the right questions and noticed, what gets you killed. I think, to help you improve further, its time to move to be more specific. So throw 2 or 3 replay files in here, so people can analyse your gameplay in detail and point to specific situations where you should do this or that.
