Thats ofc true but expecting EVERYONE to follow this is absolutly unrealistic. Its the same with toxcitiy in game in general (if we focus on toxic chat due to critisicm on how someone plays) - some of the people beeing toxic might actually have a point. Other ofc dont. They do chose the wrong wording to voice their critic but the core might still be reasonable. Point is: we should also look beyond the toxicity and self-check, if there might be a reason why someone is angry with the way you play. For example: This might be a valid point. Or its not. We cant judge (atleast without a replay). Sometimes, it is needed in order to win the game. So even if you are frustrated by the way some people chose their words, you should concider evaluating, if that person might be right with what he is trying to say. You yourself can only profit from that.

But what exactly do you think, would change? That you could recover from such a disadvantage? Or that such a disadvantage doesnt happen in the first place? Neither would be the case. You get unlucky and take a torp as a DD early, someone detonates, people make mistakes - this happens regardless of skill. Yes, people with higher skill make less mistakes but it still happens. And then the snowball effect kicks in. Even worse: if you would create the perfect environment with 2 teams with all equally skilled players (which isnt possible in randoms but lets say it would) - losing 1 or 2 ships early because of bad luck would tip the game even harder into a state, from where you cant recover. You can see this in clanbattles, when you lose one on your side early, its a huge disadvantage, even if your team is on paper "higher skilled" you might lose the game due to that. This is just the way this game is, no respawn plays a huge part in that. -
what was that, a homeing torpedo sinking yourself? He is better in CVs then you are LOL

Thats where I stopped reading and hit the like button under the post. Not even kidding

Exactly. Something I never understood. I know (well, knew, since some quit the game) players, that spend money for the sole purpose of using those ships in Ops. It seems like, you are right about it. I first understood it different aswell, but thinking about it - it only makes sense this way. Because a team of 4 or 5 actually didnt have an economic advantage even before, so to speak - as you point out, they did get more XP only because they shared the same target pool among a smaller group. So "removing an advantage" can actually only mean: nerfing the XP you get for doing the same stuff compared to a team of 7. It actually makes sense, the more your think about it... well it doesnt but WG...

He already got this answer, several times by now actually, but he is not happy. He keeps on creating new topics with the same question untill someone finally tells him "JUST GET THE F*** XX" so im gonna be the guy now GET THE F***** KIROV and stop creating topics with the same question over and over again. But dont come crying here when you are not happy. You have been warned.

+34 seconds reload guns are boring.
ForlornSailor replied to Furius_Marius's topic in General Discussion
I honestly dont see a problem with a shipline beeing too weak - weather we talk objective or subjective view on the matter. A much bigger problem are ships or entire lines, that are too strong. So [you think] a ship is too weak / boring / uninteresting? Dont play it, ignore the line. Problem solved. Someone else might like it. -

And vice versa. Biggest fools camping in the back, shooting HE with their BBs and get top XP. Thats nothing new, most of us here are aware of this and its undisputed. Same as above - we all know this. Thats the way how it is. It helps to use your clans Discord to rant. Or you only play in divisions, this way you can raise your impact on the game a lot. You are not going to win all of them however, even with the 3 best players of the entire game playing the 3 most OP ships you can get your hands on. But you win more and you can actually execute teamplay, so thats nice. On another note about the "you play good your should win" - often enough, someone in the enemy team did really good aswell, potentially even better then you. -

How is that related tho? Quite the opposite: In a defeat, its mure more likely, that a good player come on top - after all, he loses, because his team is bad. So how could the be ahead of him in XP unless that player in questions effes up himself? This is some sort of twisted reverse-logic that only makes sense on the first glimpse, but when you think 5 sec about it - it doesnt at all. -
attach the replay here

Campaigns are long chains of seperate tasks, which give you rewads for individual stages and each task and an additional bigger reward for completing the entire campaign. I advise to always have as many as possible taks active (thats 2 or 3 with premium). Check the requirements - they are bound to tiers, nations or ships, and to gamemodes aswell. Especially for a new account its a good way to get some signals, camos and other stuff. -
Here is Sehales from WG talking about what they need and how to proceed:
-
Game does create replays for each and every game automatically - check the folder, the last 30 games are there, 100%. Its important to get the replay file and give it to Wargaming (if the bugs are visible in the replay - there is a chance, they dont)
-
DUDE. wtf. the game is high btw, now that I think about it, since the patch, I have the following: When the round ends, before the I see the score sheet - I see an image from the previous game for a split second! super weird.
-
You do have the replay file tho - its in the folder where you have installed the game World_of_Warships\replays
-
Why does your speed says 101,7 knots o-O Can you upload that video? Is it still a wows-replay file? then you can upload this to the forum, just attach it to a post.

Co-op is playing against bots (so against computer), while Random battle is two teams of human players facing each other. Besides that, they are identical (maps, gamemode, objectives) only that Random is 12 against 12 and coop gives you lower XP (unless you dont do good in randoms, then coop can actually be better). You can switch between the modes top centre of your port screen: -

pretty much this. @Curesto You dont really "need" either of them for coop anyway. So I would advise to save the coal, until you can make a choice for a ship, which you know will fit your playstyle. Anshan in particular is nothing special these days anymore, so you might be dissapointed at some point down the road because you spend your coal on that. Again speaking to OP: be adivsed, that coop differes a LOT from random battles. You can get away (and absolutly should) play super aggressive in coop. in random - this will get you killed. Especially jumping into a mid tier DD with no experiance in randoms is a very, very bad idea. Just saying, it might not be what you are planing to do, but just in case. Edit says: as @Logan_MountStuart pointed out, getting some premium time might be a better investment. The XP bonus on a premium ship doesnt really get you anywhere. You´d need to invest money to turn them into free XP and the little extra free XP you earn through the perma camo is negliable - epsecially when we talk about farming for Nelson. Get a clan, they have bonuses for XP/free XP/credits through their ports, this will help you every game and doesnt cost a dime. -
How the did you get 1900 base XP with that result on a 4 star win?? doesnt add up unless the last updated buffed the XP.
-
Then you want Des Moines and Daring. For a BB even concider Kurfürst. With hydro and the tankiness you are self-reliant. 2nd option for each class imo: Worcester or Henri, even Hindenburg. Gearing and Grozovoi & Kremlin as the BB.
-
Also depends what you are looking for? do you play divisions? solo? Some ships perform better in a division, other are strong solo or either way. Ranked a priority? Cant do wrong with Des Moines, thats for sure. Henri is awesome and stronger in ranked imo, so good to have in port. Minotaur (with Radar) is a killer in division. DDs have the same picture. German DDs are super good in divisions. British DDs in general are really good. If you prefer gunboats, the french. The russian DDs are also interesting, just forget about Khaba at this moment - T8/T9 of the gunboat line are still super good tho.
-
This. As someone, who plays a lot of DD after CV rework, ive seen enemy planes immediatly turn towards my position, once some super smart CV popped a fighter plane in my vicinity. And everytime, te red CV pops an early fighter halfway towards a cap circle, I ping the map there, I turn my guns and im ready to shoot that DD, that will be spotted any second.
-
First of all: @arquata2019 - this above. If you are ever in the same team with me, when I play DD, dont put a fighter anywhere near me at the start of the game! And for the rest, everything has been said.
