You know, I wonder if you have played any other Multiplayergame online before wows. Other games, when played competetive (not like this fake-stuff going on here), have very often different rulesets which are created by 3rd party leagues and / or the community. So yea, saying that the community has no say in the rules is just stupid :)

That is ... what its been said pretty much in every post since the start? And again in between from me since you blessed us by joining the discussion. Btw just to make it clear: By definition it still stays a cheat - unless its by default available for everyone. Thats whats been raised as a point all the time. Imo, its anway too late to just remove it from the offical modpack. Ppl used to it would go the extra mile and install it from somewhere else. And if you know a better way to raise WGs attention, then let me, OP and everyone else know. And without telling us to stfu, aight?

Actually, I dont read this accusation in this thread. Yes, I call that piece of addon out as a cheat. Since it is available on something obviously deemed ok by WG, I wont judge the people using this as harsh as people, that would be using the same kind of thing if it were to be 3rd party. And imo, the community has a right to voice their opinion. But even more important is the question raised a few times already: If its ok by WG - why its not in the game? Include it, make it accessable for everyone. Its not a matter of taking a few mins to install it or any of the other arguements. It changes the game, it has the potential to give an advantage, therefor it shouldnt be in the current state. I guess, thats the point of most people in this thread.

@tomkrist I hope u dont mind the incoming harsh critcism. Its not T8, its you. - Long range AP, and when you go close in, you exculsivly use HE? Where did u get that idea. 7km perfect braodside Minotaur, yet you spam him with HE for 3k dmg. it hurts to watch. There are other examples in this very video too. Did you saw what the Kurfürst did to the Baltimore and, I think it was Bismarck, earlier? - Why do you zoom so weird? You keep loosing time a lot by this. - You sail into the enemy spawn for no good reason, making the job for the enemy BBs very easy. They defend their 2 Caps perfectly, you chose to get behind them instead of taking their broadside in B. - The Torpedo from the Minotaur was the easiest dodge. You didnt. - The only reason you were alive at the end was, cuz the enemys didnt see you as a thread at all.

I also feel, there is somewhat of a misunderstanding on the word Mod. It makes it sound so harmless. Yet, by defintion, a Mod is something, that brings cosmetic changes to a game. A cheat, on the other hand, is defined like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheating_in_online_games#ESP This "X", as of right now, fills the exact definition and is therefor - a cheat. Implement it in the game, if you deem it ok and non gamebreaking, WG. But the current state is simply unacceptable.

Man, some people dont even know that their OWN SHIP has radar! This is, sadly, not a joke. Ive told a NO once that he has Radar and literally pointed him to the Key he had to press so we could finaly spot the DD You are lucky he listened! This happens all the time, just yesterday I was 100% sure a round is lost as we had a FdG left and enemys had Yorck and Z-46. I could not believe my eyes, when the Yorck opened fire, steaming full ahead at the FdG. It got better, since the DD for some reason also rushed and ran straight into the detection range of our BB. Or when I was the last survivor in a Fiji with 1 minute on the clock and a point advantage against 3 enemys and... got insulted to the bone cuz I ... didnt attack the enemys. lol? Everyday insanity.

1 - I agree with you on this one. 2- Not quite sure who you are adressing here. discussion is pretty calm. Remeber things like this going down in other game-community with a very, very, VERY different response. 3- You know, couple of things here. First: Everyone makes the choice what to install. Second: If ppl use this and other similar kind of sutff, they just have to live with the fact, that other ppl will question or even discard their "skill". period. Nothing you can do about it, its the way Onlinegaming works. I used to be Top 2% in an FPS quite a while back and was constantly in the line of fire beeing suspected left and right. I cant count how many times I put a Videocam behind my shoulder filming competetive games. Not streaming, not from a replay, cuz it didnt satisfy ppl. If i would have used any kinda third party stuff my reputation would have been somewhere between old diapers and a turd in the sewage, I can guarantee you that. Yes, beause this stupid mod has the name "offical modpack" written all over it, it kinda changes the situation. Which brings us back to point 1 of my post...

So we basicly agree. Just in case you´d thought I also cry cuz gettin shot at in smoke, ofc it happens all the time. But that occasion I refered to was way too pinpoint and 2 guys, same clan, within 2 or 3 sec. Not gonna post names, just sayin, after the video, im 100% sure the mod was involved - obvious enough :)

@mtm78 Not saying that. U think I dont know how to shoot smoke? I do it frequently. Or are you saying that "ppl that are good anyway can also simplify all the way, cuz they might just do it anyway". Then why do they need it obviously? And, especially when you think of yourself as top of the pack, you should lead by example. How many ppl gonna install this cr4p cuz they see that vid?

This. Yup. Two OMNI in BBs did this just two days ago to my Edinburgh. Was 95% sure they were using this mod. Now, this video confirmed & filled the last 5%. Lost all respect for them, easy as that. Nuff said.

@Namolis I think you might be on to something there. I can somewhat confirm, that I as a cruiser am rarly focused by RN BBs. They seem to focus on BBs, probably, cuz they can squeez more dmg out of them - with a fire. Also, what I have noticed while playing RN BB (this is from Orion now, but its basicly the same with the Conq, I guess) is, that once you fired a salvo HE on a BB and you noticed, that he used DCP, you want to fire the next HE salvo on that same target - naturally. So if a cruiser or a DD all of a sudden shows up in range - even broadside - you are tempted to let him go. No other BB using AP mainly would do this. -

Nope, they wont get it. If ppl, that re claiming, its BBabys whining about Conq, would actually take a look at the persons, who voice their opinion - they´d find out, most of them never cried to nerf HE/Torpedos/anything that hurts BBs. quite the opposite. But hey, its already an oxymoron saying, that BBabys would cry for nerfs for a BB. Which guys like the one you quoted also dont understand. -

I will never understand people that are striving to have something OP by Design. Why not cheat right away? Then again, there are so many clowns in any game, f.e. FPS, they dont even care, that their aimbot or speedhack is visible from second one. But those ppl also feel like they are on top of the world. I enjoy having a level playing field, heck the biggest smiles im getting when I go 1vs1 with a highertier ship and beat him down with skill & tactics. Most boring is to have something totaly OP under your helm. -
Id like to see the replay of the last screenshot, where u are Amagi.

Some ppls logic... following this: please remove damage taken totaly. How could a digital bullet possibly damage a digital ship? blasphemy! On topic: It was a good change, imo, but really didnt change the game the way it was suppose to be. Yet another example of ppl gonna play the way they want (cowardly) ignoring the reality. -

Not its not argueable. Those cruisers named earlier have no chance of having a smaller concealment, no matter their captain nor modules. No. Chance. thus = no argueing your stupid remark, it would be cruisers own fault. Neither. Cuz it seems, u did not understood what was the original point. A team with 5 vs 4 BBs winning the round will result in pushing WR beyond 50% for BBs overall. If that is the case as to explain the data given by WG - I doubt that myself (see earlier posts), cuz it could not have such a huge impact, atleast on T10. I cant even say for sure if it does happen to T10 BBs but I cant rule it out. -

Rather then speculating about your stats, Id rather have a look at a replay of your gameplay. (ppl gonna see what they want to see in someone stats.) A Lion round of yours could be interesting.

Well hard to get all the facts from 2 screens. You could always attach the replay so I can draw better conclusions. We all know your hate towards BBs :3 But we all have seen way worse then on this screenshot, right? I´d do it. For honor and glory . No serious. I know, its risky, yes. But killing enemy DDs is a keyrole to win a battle. I´d trade my cruiserlife against a DD, especially, when I have the feeling, the enemy DD has the potential to carry the game. What I do, also on Okinawa: Ill ask my DDs to provide me with smoke, in return ill offer support near the Cap. NO with radar is very helpful in a position like this. If the DD doesnt show any form of willingniss to help me helping him - I wish him gl and turn my ship to another Cap.
