    Team Saipan

Ive seen 4 Saipan =). Had to laugh a bit tbh. I agree with OP & others tho: T7 should be 1 CV per team max.

This is getting [edited] old WG

Then why dont you attack those ppl? you can even quote them directly and nail them down. Dont know whats your point else. Nah, those are not BB-Players - what you are talking about, are clueless players that dont want to learn hot to improve but rather vent and stomp their feet. People, that have understood, that they have a bad experiance, cuz they make mistakes and search for help, how to get better, do get a lot of usefull help - no matter what class they play. I helped several ppl on multiple occasions - looking at their replays, giving them tips to improve, pointing out, what I think they are doing wrong. So your "how does it usualy end" is narrow minded and not the truth, sorry to say.

Are you really trying to use one stupid thing, that somebody at some point long ago said somewhere - to prove a point here? Did MortenTardo say this? Do you think, you look intelligent now? au contraire mon ami, as they say in france....

    Nerf the Conqueror ...

Fair enough. Everyone has different experiances, reacts differently, uses the ships different and counters it different. So we have different conclusions. Looking at it from another perspective - we cant know which changes would be better - or maybe even both of them would do the trick. Its always hard to discuss changes, when you can only imagine, how the results are. If there would be options to change any mechanic / stat of a ship in the trainingroom, we could actually test our suggestions. Would make things easier, but we have to live with just talking theory. Nah its cool. At the end of the day, I doubt, that anything we write here, really matters or gonna change something about the Conq and/or other RN BBs. So no need to start a personal war over this topic ;)

    Nerf the Conqueror ...

So... someone reported you in game for playing Conq, thus you go to the forums and smacktalk ppl, that are discussing that Ship? Sounds reasonable. Then its a problem with you focussing on ppl, that are talking insane stuff. I did read a lot of good things in this very thread. Nothing really stupid. Then again, I have some ppl in this thread blocked - the forums gives you all the tools to blend out that ppl, that really cant discuss on a mature level. Why would I want to waste my time with them? Its not like they have anything important to tell to the world, me, or WG - aint nobody going to take them serious. Yamato doesnt have good AA, if you compare to other BBs. And I think it should stay this way. My take on rebalancing the Conq would be, to remove the Zombie-Heal and the cruiser-like detectability. Then again, WG seems to be happy with the line (or they are fooling us) and wanted the RN BBs to be real BB hunters. Another but is, that WG announced the RN BBs as counters to Cruisers and Destroyers. Confusing.

    Nerf the Conqueror ...

Litte correction: you would need to only correct one or the other, to get a coparision, right? So either Yama 9 scaled to 12 = 25.696 Conq 12 = 24.844 or Yama 9 = 19.272 Conq 12 scaled to 9 = 18.633 I second that observation. In the first days of CB, you could see a lot of Conq - this has changed. IMO - Its just in an environment with only 1 BB (and with the recent change to firetime on Cruisers), the conq cant really play to its strenght? Which is fighting BBs. First let me say something in general - you should stop to generalize everything that has been said by a huge number of ppl. Many ppl = many different opinions. While there ist a group of ppl shouting "nerf the conq!", there are some with valid arguments among them and some, that dont make sense at all. Also, I wonder why this discussion keeps cycling around and around, always starting again. It has been said many times now - the problem with RN BB / Conq isnt one specific of its strenghts - its the whole picture. You can go and argue about each and every of them looking only at one of them - HE penetration, Firechance, Detectablity, Super-heal - and discuss it to a point, where you´d make it sound perfectly fine. Granted. But the conclusion overall stays - it has too many advantages going for it.
  7. As we all know, the population of CV-Players is pretty low and there is a huge gap in the skill of that playerbase. This often leads to frustration, which can be seen in numerous topics about CV-gameplay in the forums, f.e. Now, I had this idea, which could make it easier to get into CVs and teach people how to play that class - so I want to share this with WG and the community. I was thinking, what are the things, that stop people from trying out this class? Well, first of all, it plays very different then all the other ships. Second, if you decided to unlock a CV, you get thrown into the game without beeing prepared on what to expect and how to use that CV to its full potential. So you might have a very bad experiance in the first CV-Game and might never return to that class. So why not dedicate a Operation for CVs? In addition to that, you could give temporary CVs for that Operation for every account - sort of like the T10 ships, that can only be used in Clan Battles. This way, one wouldnt need to grind through Cruisers and Battleships, to be able to tryout a CV, and can do so without beein afraid to ruin anyone elses game. About the Operation: I was thinking about a single-player mission "Attack a Convoi". There could be a group of Merchant-Ships, escorted by a few DDs and a CV, which would protect that convoy at all time, so that the CV is safe from beeing attacked itself. Now, there could be several tasks, to reach 5 stars, which would include things, that a CV needs to do usualy. Like: - Shoot down 10* enemy aircraft using strafe - Hit 5* Torpedos using a manual drop - Spot 2* enemy DDs - Sink 1* Merchantvessel with flooding - Sink 5* Enemy Ships of any type The CV for that Operation could be a T7* (or any Tier, really), while the Enemy CV and Escortships should be lower Tier. With WG obviously wanting to implement hard-mode for Operations, this could be even made a challenge for experianced players in addition. Now as for the rewards: On 4- or 5-star, it could unlock the T4 CV of that nation / give a 6-Point*-Captain, so you´d have a start for that CV. In oder to receive all rewards, the player must master manual drops and strafe, something, that often makes the difference in skill. Also, this way, ppl will get to know the different options, a CV has to attack. @Crysantos said in yesterdays stream, you guys value feedback, which could improve the game. Here is my take on it. Opinions? @Sub_Octavian @Tuccy @MrConway @Kandly *numbers are ofc subject to change.

Idea for an Operation / How-to-Play for CV

@Ze_Reckless @hellhound666 I agree, every class would benefit from Tutorials. I only picked CVs cuz I had a concrete idea for them in mind, how it could be implemented and second, its true, the skill gap matters most in CV players, thats why I personaly think, CVs need them urgently.

    Strange torpedo damage

Yea, damage saturation. One of that "fun & engaging game-mechanics" WG made to piss off the entire playerbase enhance gameplaying experiance for all of us.

    invisible torps

Exactly this. There are a few vids of this out there on youtube. Also, it happend to me once aswell. Funny thing is: you HEAR the warning sound, i KNEW the torps are in the water I just couldnt see them. Dodging the hard way. Needless to say - didnt work.

    Why even bother?

@nambr9 Ive had the EXACT same thing on the EXACT same map. Im basicly looking in panic, when this map loads, where everyone moves, expecially when you spawn south - somehow, on that side, A seems to attract even more ppl. I pinged, I asked nicely, I said "only id...s go A" , I told them, we will lose cuz enemys gonna have B+C, I straightup insulted them - nothing worked. This... sadly...

    Smoke Gameplay

Guys... whats that smell in here? OMG I found it! A BBabys diaper was full and overspilled - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
  13. You are ofc right about all of that. One little thing that concerns me, is, that more clueless ppl might be getting faster to T10 and/or are able to stay there and perform really really bad. As if we need more of them. Ofc, this is also hard to prove, how big of an impact - if any - those camos have, but it keeps nagging me.
  14. While this might be true for you guys and a part of the players, it isnt for another part of them. For some/many (hard to really tell, how many), already playing T8 will ruin their credit income. Also, the OP is critizising more the recently introduced one-time-camos, which give even more benefits then the permanent-premium ones. Which is somehow wrong, I agree. Ppl went on to buy the premium-permanent, cuz it was the best at that time. Now, they might even be tempted to use the one-time-camo for dubloos, just to get more out of every round.

    Another Detonation Thread

Actually, he is right tbh. The game detonated him --> taking the last chance to turn the game --> ultimatly deciding the game with a dice roll. And to go further: if he wouldnt have exploded --> Enemy DD (atleast 1 would have been dead + he alive = all of a sudden, his team has not even the advantage on DDs but also the advantage in ships. Uh you know what? What if he would have killed the DDs? Killing 2 DDs with minotaur, when they have no way of escaping is easy, even for non unicums. And then... get this... what if he would have detonated the Moskva or Donskoi? Dont you think... the dice roll would have then all of a sudden favoured him? hm? Then the side of the Minotaur all of a sudden would have been completly cleared. Your logic it flawed. It was litereally 11 vs 12 ships when Minotaur engaged 2 totaly out of position beeing DDs. They played totaly stupid and got rewarded with complete RNG luck. Runing the game for all 24 players, tbfh!

    Another Detonation Thread

erm... even generally speaking, this is completly wrong. Even a bad player is a target. Even an AFK-Ship is a target and often will get more attention then active players. Thus removing any ship with full-/high-health from the game DOES have a impact on the game - and quite a significant one. Its not all about dealing damage in this game....

    Kamikaze R i love it

All I see is a fail DD. Objectives? The hell is that. Gotta hunt the CVs, get off my back team!

    Racism in clans and wows?!

Id rather say the way, the CBs are put into the game by WG, are the problem. I mean, why is this point about visiting a mosque? You know, how many ppl have to work during that time? Then what about them? This really rather tells us something about the Clan Battles then anything else.
  20. ForlornSailor

This kind of MM has to stop

Then I wonder why you complain so hard? Since by your logic you count -1 DD on your side pretty much always? And if you think, you ship of choise is such a huge disadvantage - why do you play it? What effed the matchmaker is the Pensacola fail-division. He couldnt give the other side a T7-Cruiser to balance it out, hence it gave the other team a DD more with a tier higher. This is very common in matchmaking. For a Cruiser with T=X it will give the opponentes a DD with T=X+1. Also, your team got a BB more cuz exactly this.

    Unplayable any more !!!

Yep. each and every round played with a certain ship influences the personal rating. The numbers stated on the link are the ones you would need to do RIGHT NOW to get the average rating - 1150. The formula for calculating states exactly this. In the past and the future, this will be different! The less number of games played in a ship aka the newer a ship is, the more the numbers will differ and the more they will change adfter updating the basevalue - which is PERFECTLY visible from the Chung Mu example. This also explains PERFECTLY what @Commander_Cornflakes shows with his Screenshot. Also, I need to update the personal rating of people taking part in this discussion. Hold on. Here it is: Sane ppl: I stopped counting tbh vs. "I am the 99%" veslingr : 0

    Racism in clans and wows?!

Did you try or from where do you have that experiance? btw: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2017/aug/27/police-investigate-online-abuse-charity-transgender-children-mermaids there are tons of other examples. Many countries - including where I live - have the option, to report crime completly online without physically visiting a police station. You might want to update your knowledge about police investigations, if the year was 2000, I´d agree with you.

    Unplayable any more !!!

I told him this before. He himself posted the formula, by which they calculate the personal rating. I knew he didnt understood it himself, what he posted. And @eliastion made it clear with an example, that the formula takes the performance of each player into account to find the specific average. True - And I wonder how he explains this! Its us ofc! "us" is 1 person, because no way there can be more then 1 person in the internet. Which makes "him" the majority because 1 is more then 1 - the average of 2 is on his side of the 1. dont you understand? so sad.
