In the core, its almost the same with CVs. Even the spotting can be provided "by accident" by both. IF the majority of players in subs (and CVs) would be halfway capable of playing those classes, the game would be a mess and people up the barricades. The reality is different but it still doesnt make for a good argument, if one wants to claim, that those classes are balanced (or have a place in the game for that matter).

This is all correct. And thats why each and everyone has to question their own actions and relations to the game/WG. I used to think, that its actually possible to talk to them and exchange ideas, feedbacks to improve the game. Was I foolish? I guess. The time I spend writing here feels like completly wasted, I did have this feeling for a while. When I, in detail, with data, explained to a WG employee, why after their flooding rework it is pretty much impossible to get the liquidator achievement, I got another PR-answer of "we will closly monitor the situation, gather more data and make adjustments if needed". This was 2 years ago. But yea, I also know, we are the minority here and for the vast majority of the playerbase, that never visits the forum, doesnt know what twitch, reddit or CCs are - everything is business as usual. They spend, they play and when they are drained, they will be replaced by the next wave of these casual players. And thats how WG makes their money. But I guess I go back to hibernating. Just joined the forum back to follow the LWM-disaster.

Well, to a degree it will. The underlying question is: how worse does it need to get to finally make a difference for them? But they will not stop now. And neither will their support from their viewers. Quite the opposite on the first point, as we saw with flamu. And while some CCs/streamers are exaggerating with their criticism on WG, some of it is just on the house. Like designing somehing as Puerto Rico event and then telling the community on top "oh sure you can get it for free. Just play 10 hours a day including xmas even. me? hell no, I wont be doing that, I have a life unlike all you little paypiggies out there". It just shows the mindset of that company and you actually cant appologize for that. When I accidentaly take a step back and step on your foot - I can appologize for that and its sincere. When I take an axe, point at you and say "in 10 sec ill chop of your foot", then execute this plan and tell you "im sorry, I will try to be better next time" - would you believe me? would you hand me over your axe tomorrow if I ask you to?

In itself it might be. But its the sum of everything, that at some point is just too much. Which goes back atleast 2,5 years. Puerto Rico f.e. - many people did not forget nor forgave WG for that. Then all it takes is showing the same attitute again to push people over the edge. All these things play a role in whats happening with the CCs. As it should be.

If you would pay attention, I said in the message above, that I support kicking him as a CC. My later statement about cancel culture was a general point about it. As for your "take a stand in the real world": just did it last friday. Worked out just fine for me. As for what you continue to write: it doesnt even make sense. If yuro wrote it in his private discord its his thing. You dont have to be there, you dont have to read it, it doesnt impact your life. Unlike your "go shout into someones face". And if you think that a CC-contract in a videogame lays rules on your entire life, yet its ok to shout into strangers faces, then you have a very weird view of the world.

I absolutly agree with you. Cancel culture is the cancer of our society. It should not be accepted, especially not on the level that it has reached.

Oh, we are there already. Afaik you are german - did you miss the, was it a 14 year old, who got taken by authorities into a foster home, because he wrote in private (!) whats app message to a friend, that a certain group of people should all be gassed? (and they left the option on the table to jail him once he is 18). Which violates a lot of laws, but the comments on Spiegel.de called for even harsher meassure on that boy AND his family (which, ironically, have been the ways of the people they claim to fight). And recent Apples approach of scanning the picture content of EVERY iPhone on the planet with consequences, if something illegal as child porn would be found? Yea, welcome to 2021! Oh and for the sake of creating a bigger bonfire: WG need to fire Yuro. If they dont, give em hell on all channels. Im sorry but at this point I just like to watch em burn. They finally got what was comming for them.

I hear you. I didnt want to come over as if it sounds like im forcing anyone. im not, just to be clear. I just see a momentum to send the strongest possible message towards WG ever. Im not going to hold a grunge if anyone decides otherwise, same for the CCs that dont quit. For some of them, its their income and with Corona not making the job market any easier, I perfectly understand if anyone decides against it. About deleting the account: I would if my hopes for a change towards the better would reach 0,0%. Im not there yet. But I havent played in 4 months and havent spend a dime ever since CV rework. So as far as it concerns me, im sending the strongest message I can.

Here is an idea: Why dont you quit as a moderator to strenghten the message to WG? This is a general message to all Mods, not you in specific and neither take it as me wanting to quit you or any other mod for personal reasons. But as several CCs have quit at this point, I think, if we, as a community, want things to change, this is the best chance we ever had. And the more people tell WG "you know what - im not ok with what you are doing" and the more of those people have some sort of role in the WG-system - the higher the chances. If you love the game - resign.
