On what do you base that assumption on? I can tell you from other games, that ive played before (some even more active then I play wows): whenever there were private servers, and I played mixed teams with people I knew - nobody complained. Nobody. And the best rounds in those games ive actually had in such an environment. So I really ask myself: Whats your experience to make such a call? Or are you just completly guessing to make OP look like a whiner? -

Two things about that. First: That is actually going on. There are people playing 12vs12, clan vs clan, mixed, shenanigans etc. So people absolutly have the attitude for it. And once you experienced, how good the game can be in such an environment, you kinda spoil randoms for yourself. Now comes the but: The game is build around grinding. You need credits/XP/free XP/Captain XP to advance in lines, gain coal etc - should be obvious. Thats why it simply isnt an option to play mainly Trainingrooms. -

So many replies from ppl, that miss the point. I really wonder: have you guys played any other multiplayer-onlinegame before? It doesnt sound like it. You dont seem to know, what private servers are. How it was standard, that a clan pretty much had to rent its own server, where they could play. And you dont seem know, how much better any MMO is, when you play with and against players of your own skilllevel. The last part is actually sad. I pity anyone, that has never had an experiance like this. -

wutdafuq? How does this make sense. And how does this get calculated, when I received this kind of damage and have other half-saturated parts on my ship? Right now, it does "fill" these up, so you can get full pens again? Once more, this change shows so much .... when looking closer into it. -

You know, thats actually an interesting topic itself. If you think about it - the zones and the saturation-mechanic is a huge advantage for BBs. And on both ends! A) A BB shooting at other ships doesnt care nor can he usualy aim for different compartments - it will hit several with each volley anyway. On top of that: BBs are the easiest class to dish out citas. B) BBs profit from saturated compartments the most. Cruisers spamming their Superstructure will quickly drain the healthpool there and then go to halfpen or even zeropen. You can witness this, when you are a cruiser shooting at a shiny, full HP BB. Your first volley (if it hits well) deals huge damage, from there its all downhill. Also, BBs are the least likely to take citas themself, thus can profit again. But that doesnt answer the question "why". What do you think is the reason tho? To increase survivability of BBs? That would be the logical assumption taking my above part into account, right? -
Thats actually a very good point! The current meta makes Cruisers kinda obsolete and when you have 1 DD only, you really pray that you have the intelligent one. @MrConway what do you think about this? Since Ranked Sprint is advertised as a "beginners ranked", wouldnt it be better, to limit number of BBs, so that new players in cruisers have a better chance? You see some poor guy in a cruiser beeing oneshotted in the first 2 mins almost every round.

Faced @Episparh yesterday evening - he in Missouri, I was in Salem and had @WolfGewehr with me in his Stalingrad. Can only be described as a super-weird round. It took about 3 mins untill the first enemy ship popped up on the minimap and it pretty much stayed like this. Halfway through the round I was positioned in the middle of B, trying to hit a Minotaur on my maxrange deep in enemys spawn in his smoke - and I did not even get detected. -

Ill vote for 3v3. And allow division of 3. Then I finaly can safe my sanity. Are you prepared to watch a couple of hours from my replays? I think it might change your opinion...

What can you say? This game needs to get foolproof. Every change points to it. I dont even know what to write anymore at this point. I think im done too. I cant stand those changes anymore, I cant stand the stupid behavoir anymore, I so much want to enjoy this game but its impossible. -

Sorry to disappoint you, but I had to upvote you No? Moskva is one of the ships, that is hardly influenced at all by this change. Also, with the recent 50mm buff to the bow, you dont really need to angle anymore. Trust me, I know what im speaking of. I tanked / angled like a madman for failteams with 25mm bow Moskva and only yesterday I watched my potential damage going in the millions, while just going almost straight bow-in towards a Kurfüst, Bismarck, Hindenburg and Republique. So easy these days. I got like 20k damage before they all died (not to me tho, Moskva doesnt have that DPM). Well, and got one report, meh, couldnt figure out which salty enemy it was. -

Exactly. Also, what has been said, would imply, that those ppl would know about the change of the mechanics. And to know about the change, you´d need to know and understand the current mechanics. Which a huge part of the playerbase simply dont... so yea. doesnt matter. Campers gonna camp. They´d camp even if you´d give Yamato 2 mil HP and 200 mm bow + deck armor. Ontopic: Not sure whats surprising in that, Its exactly what the change has promised. I dont know, it sounds somewhat familiar but lets do this again: this is literally what ppl have been whining & asking about. Now they, once again, got their will. -

More like turning the entire inside of the car into a fridge - which cant be turned off :/ Yep, same here. Once you start to pay attention to it, you cant get your mind away from it anymore and you see it happen all the time. Annoying. I somehow feel, that the AP on DD change and the penetration of modules/torpedo bulges are related. Maybe the engine it limiting the options for WG, so its both of them or neither. Everything else would need extensive work on the engine. This is however speculation. -
Guys, I had the same thing. Every round I start, im exactly at 20 fps. Then I tabbed back to the desktop, back to the game - low fps fixed. Did this every time now and worked every time. Sounds weird? I know.

Could you stop spamming and stick to the topic? Or if you have such a huge problem with ppl discussing here, then why dont you stay out of here? How does it personaly impact you? Please dont reply.

Well, since there is a recent development about exactly this topic, there was a good reason to bring this thread up again. Ontopic: I have to say, I was a bit shocked when I first read about this change. What actually needed to be fixed was the thing with doubledamage from one shell. Which is a problem for all classes, but due to low health ofc affects DDs the most. Im not even sure if WG fully understood, what people were posting when showing screenshots / videos of this bug / mechanic? Maybe they didnt look close enough and thought, people complain about the huge damage from one shot? And like some guys said before: This will be a huge buff to survivability of DDs. Ive had it recently actually twice, that a DD rushed my BB full speed. Once I died, once he died. I think thats fair, given the suicidemove those guys made. If anyone can tell me, why in that screenshot I shouldn´t be able to defend myself, why I should only witness how im getting killed and what exactly is wrong with whats happening there..

Lets just agree on any channel and get people in there. Would be good to have voice channels for 12 ppl and a room smth like "12vs12 training battle" But yea, might aswell use that one I guess?

If there is no Discord - lets set one up? I think its the best way to gather people for random divisions or even games in trainingroom?
