I always was under the impression, that bots in Co-Op dont use the advanced consumables. Now, in operations, they actually do, f.e. defensive AA. Today, I was kinda surprised, to see a Kirov using Hydro against me. This is new, right, or did I miss something?

Its in there. a COUPLE of times. btw: a) complains - wrongfully - about an argument not explained. b) complains about insults c) is absolutly rude himself d) complains about thread too long e) spams said thread with 5 replies in short time - without ANY content at all - to bloat the thread even more. Can you do a reality check please??

Imo - all captains, that are on a CV once the rework hits, should be deleted and their XP transfered 1:1 into elite commander XP. This way, you could create a new, similar captain on any ship you´d like. Even a CV. win-win?

Not introducing LoS-Radar is actually the absolute right decision. I cant understand how someone with over 5k games in DDs and almost 14k game overall cant understand that

Because... my Division-mate needs to play something? And while double/tripple Orion or Orion + Nikolai + Arkansas make up for hillarious blabbings - it doesnt fill the heart of a true connoisseur in the long run. I think with having almost 1/3 of my games played at T8, I can justify it to rain destruction from time to time in low tiers

Exactly. And nowadays, a LOT of people are shooting you in the smoke. There is no reason to play smoke Mino anymore, Radar has become more usefull. Listen. The problem is not the CV itself. Its much more complex. Ill list a few things. - Skill gap. Often your CV is so bad, he might aswell be afk. - Teamplay. a CV divi (if they are good) are playing together. They support each other. Random teams dont. Everyone sees there is a CV in the game. Why do BBs still run alone on a flank? Why DDs still rush in the enemy spawn? Ask them. - Def AA vs. Hydro. Most Cruisers have to pick: Do I take Hydro or def AA? Most people take Hydro. Cruisers in a CV divi dont, obvious. - Captain builds. Intelligent CV divis take Cruisers and BBs, that have captains with AA build. Look around in your team: See the Yamato with SE? The Minotaur with SE? The Hindenburg with SE? There goes your teams AA power. ALL those points have NOTHING to do with the red CV itself. Is it his fault, that people are stupid? Should he play with eyes closed so that its a level playingfield? This has to stop. We cant ask to punish people, simply for the reason that they are are good AND have the intelligence to think "hey, IF I play a CV, I SHOULD division up with a ship, that has good AA, because it makes sense"!

Indeed. If we would do that, ultimatly we would balance T1 against T10. Because T1 faces T2 while T2 can face T3 and they face T4....and so on.

All those 3 ships, that you mention, are rather stationary ships. Belfast sits in smoke, Helena at islands. Atlanta on top of that has low range. If they openwater-gunboat: delete like Ghostbuster said. If they camp behind an island and you cant counter them: run away. If you cant, you are prolly really bad out of position, because else there would be your team around, helping you to deal with the cruisers. And well, quite frankly, if the Cruiser plays so smart, that he is able to farm you - he simply is the better player and should, no MUST win that engagement. Why do we need to talk about, that a BB should have the tools to counter a cruiser at the one thing, the cruiser does better? Shall I start to argue "but a Helena cant win a gun-battle 1vs1 broadside at 2 km against a New Mexico - lets buff the guns, so that is wins thats engagement". Sound stupid, right? Exactly. So does asking for buffs to counter the strenght of a cruiser.

Yes. like the famous Lyon, that took part in the battle of... damn, I cant remember, doing 27 knots - why exactly? Or the Bretagne, that has ingame a speed of 29,5 knots, which is totaly hilariuos btw for a T6 BB, which in reallity reached impressive ... 21 knots! So come again about warships designers and fat tubs becoming speedboats...

Some really welcomed information here. - LoS-Radar failed: good. bad enough they concidered it. I was very vocal against it, since it screws with everything. DDs get screwed, consisteny gets screwed, teamplay gets screwed. - CA/CL interaction and effectivness of HE: sounds promising. I think since Worcester its obvious, that some CLs are overperforming their supposed heavier counterparts. French BB-line screwed the balance finaly. btw: 27 knots on NC is fine - T5 to T7 speed of US BBs isnt. Or better: its rather the speed of things like Lyon and the other mid-tier-BBs, that isnt fine. First, we get BBs that have concealment like cruiser - or even better - then BBs, that start to get equal in speed. Not cool. PS: Buff US BBs? Dont forget ma Mighty Mo !

Im not sure, I can follow you. Maybe you got something about spotting mechanics wrong? The other peoples answers seem to point the same direction. Can you make a detailed example or better upload a replay what exactly do you mean?
