    No its not. Its called teamplay. Stop asking to remove more and more aspects of teamplay because you watn to turn this into a solo game. It ruined too many things by now.

    Please dont try to be too smart. There are things called "islands" that intelligent players, aka the Z-52, are using to their advantage. I stopped playing alone long ago. It was unbearable for me. In theory you are right. But the best games (for me) are the ones, which are very close untill the end and everyone performs to the best of his abilities. But there are are players, that are folding right from the start and their number seems to be growing? Maybe I just expect too much, idk.

    Its a joke. I cant even finish taking the objective anymore as a DD, if the CV decides, he wont let me. Before I cap, he is over me again to reset me. Not that I didnt knew this before the video, just thought ill mention it again *sigh*. I can get my head around it - who comes up with this? How can you not think about things like that?

    Dispersion - it's worse than it seems

    Uh yea, you are right, I was thinking in the wrong direction. But your answer brought me to a new idea. You have calculated the width between the 2 shells, that have landed the farest from each other, right? And got 401 m. Now the dispersion in game says 213 m. This should be counted from the middle to where I aim, so right there, where the Fuso is on that picture or exactly in between the 401 m. That means, it can spray 213 m in both directions from there, giving us a, so to say, dispersion pattern that strechtes over 426 m? If I havent missed something, I´d be willing to accept those numbers, because you prolly havent seen the worst dispersion with 180 or so shells? So if youd keep on shooting you might see worse dispersion, getting closer to that 426 / 213 m maximum dispersion?

    @wilkatis_LV just thinking... The value given for maximum dispersion - it should be the one when shooting unlocked? Now the dispersion pattern on the screen is obviously locked, so you´d except a tighter, better dispersion. Maybe that would explain the discrepancy? If you´d go and shoot unlocked, then maybe you´ll get the numbers you´d expect to see?

    Yes. this! Its exactly what I said to @Cippalippus in TS yesterday after our games. Thank you. Thats some of the things, Ive also seen in the last weeks. Basically you see every game something really stupid atleast once. Then im always thinking : Does this only happen in my games? Cant be, other have to experiance this too. I almost want to spam the funny & sad gamesituations thread constantly. Some examples? Seen a Warpsite yesterday that was in a divi with a Bogue (I mean, that itself is stupid to start with) but that Warspite parked next to the CV in the corner to... guard him I guess? Then there was our Z-46 who rushed in the cap, on and on towards the enemys, I think he got spotted, then smoked up. He puts his hydro up and spots a Z-52 with it (pretty sure, thats what was happening, only reason the Z-52 was spotted all of a sudden. So youd think, that our Z-46 can now draw the conclusion "wait. im a german DD, he is a german DD. If my hydro spots him, his hydro spots me too". But no. he keeps sitting in his smoke, im watching the situation. The Z-46 doesnt even shoot at the Z-52. It takes like 30 sec (while im wondering why the the Z-52 doesnt turn his hydro on?) THEN every enemy pounds the Z46 with shells cuz the 52 finaly found his hydro. A dead Z-46 right there. I mean, this shouldnt be happening?

    Thats what I was thinking about aswell. But its the same thing here as with other values that are shown or sometimes not shown to us: We can only guess if those numbers given are the real values, that are used for the mechanics or if they are just "make-up". I mean, asking the question from the other side: How do we prove, the numbers are correct? It doesnt change anyway in that sense, true. Its a little bit like with the fire chance, that is shown for each ship. We have ships, that tell you, you´ll have a 42% fire chance. Then you can put some flags on to add 1%/2%. So you might think "meh, its not worth it, ill start a fire with every second hit anyway". But the real fire chance is something completly different, since we have hidden factors. And there are modules ofc, that can lower the fire chance of someone shooting at you. So what is your real fire chance? You will never be able to tell for a specific engagement. Like you say: stats and formulas are hidden. Why? Who knows. When I look at all the constant, unneccsairy chages, that WG is applying (ribbons change, position of ribbons change, the way ribbons are shown changes, Hydro gets unified aka changed for all ships, concealment gets unified aka changed for all ships, radar ranges get changed, gunbloom when not spotted gets changed to 3 sek then back to 20 sek - while the video explaining it now wrong still remains online.... my god there is plenty of more that I cant come up with now) - It looks like a strategy to confuse people.

    Wow. This is horrible. The enemy team wasnt even that good tbfh? I mean tripple Lyon division, going full broadside in a perfect line the entire game? Holy... where the was your DD on that one... Its literally what I was begging for to see when I was playing DD today? 3 BBs pushing into me, never touching WASD... Yea, that was definatly one of those teams, that we´ve met all evening. I dont know what they are doing, its like they arent shooting at all? But hats off to you, that was awesome CV play. That guy could have atleast give you the credit, instead of coming up with one excuse after the other.... Only valid thing was the UI. But I think I can tell you, that we kinda have a running joke with @DFens_666 everytime we play T8 (which is quite often). Its usualy me who says right before the game loads "we gonna get El2aZeR. In his Enterprise. And he will be on the other team". Never happened tho so far, but im sure it will now. Trust me, I have a way to jinx things when I mention them in the forums. Give it 1 or 2 days ^_^.

We can save you a spot in our divi btw - I loved this one: About today - when you are speedboosting with your Gadjah towards the enemys, because they are retreating behind their own cap in standardbattle, gunboating for a couple of minutes in the open water and NOTHING is even trying to shoot at you ?!? I didnt lauch any torps because they would have never hit - how could I hit ships, that are 10+km away from me with 8 km torps when the ships are running? The only one putting up resistance was the Shinonome (who was the only one putting damage on me aswell).

    Wut? Are you touchy because you like DDs or what? I cant remember seeing you in any BB-Thread, where everyone is trashing people, that are posting there, directly. Shouldnt you defend BBs there and critizise people posting... generalisations? Besides: Form a better sentence, describing the problem of 3 DDs, that are in a Division together and spawn in the same place. I take it, you do have an interesting in discusing this subject, after all, it IS the topic here?

In which of the 9 games, that you played DD in a 2-man-divi did that happen? btw: Topic is not biased and your comment has nothing to do with the subject in the OP. @Wilkinson87 you are right about those spawns. Tho I doubt, changing it, would make anything better. A division of 3x the same class usualy tells you: they have no idea wtf they are doing. So if you´d make them spawn each behind one Cap, scttattered, theyll prolly gather first in one place, because "muh friend". You cant force people to play the correct way, as sad as it is. They dont split up in the first place because they dont know whats their job and what a responsibility they took, when selecting 3xDD.

    @AndyHill I know where you are going at with your argumentation :) But dont waste your time. How flawed and contradictionary his logic about Winrates is, is clear as daylight. At the end of the day, he wont acknowledge that you are right anyway. He will just play "pigeon chess" with you. Sadly, cant post the meme, because our mutual friend would be offended by that again :)

    How can you write this while at the same time - YOU are blaming everyone & everything around you for your bad performance? How is this possible, how can you not see this huge contradiction in what you are writing? He is still doing better then you tho. And how insane is this again? You are skimming through peoples stats, looking for something to mock them, while YOU write at the same time: ...because you are afraid to take the heat. You are a Hypocrite! IF you dont want to be judged based on stats then you have no right to judge others on their stats. But all you post is a huge pile of contraditions, so no surprise there? I have no right to try to help you? Well, your loss. Dont open topics in a discussion forum them if you dont want people to interact with you. And last: Funny how again your first look was on my stats. You dont try to understand what people are telling you, you are looking for exuses to justify your own, wrong position. This is already looking like a defense-mechanism, protecting yourself from the truth. Anyway - you lose this "argument" that you brought up either way. A) You cant know if Ive played CV or not. This is not a 1-person-1-account game. B) Neither does it matter. Quite the opposite. If someone, that has never touched a CV is able to see, what you are doing wrong in your CV - what does this tell us about you? If a 12-year-old tells a cardriver, who has slammed into a tree 25 times while trying to move his car from a parkinglot "dude, you have no idea how to drive" and the driver of the car will answer "you have no car and no drivers-license" who is right :) But you are the kind of person, that will slam 50...100...1000 times into that tree instead of listening to the kid, who tells you "you need to steer left not right", isnt it?

    There might even be a logical explanation, to why you see it more often, when playing ships with a huge calibre maingun: Those guns (like Missouris) are able to penetrate things like mainguns. So it will show you a penetration ribbon but no damage. Other ships will bounce / shatter on those mainguns, because they are heavily armoured, so youll get the bounce / shatter ribbon and think, everything is ok.

    Have you never had this on another ship before? Then concider yourself lucky - or maybe you havent been paying that much attention. One explanation is: modules. When you hit them, they soak up the damage, your shell would do, because they have an own health-pool, which doesnt show and doesnt count. Like you disable torpedotubes, AA-modules or a mainbattery.

    A) Playing your DD 12km+ away from the nearest enemy wasn´t / isn´t a 20-min-strategy. Its situational. B) Those times arent over. Its still possible. I only have to remember ~2 weeks back, when I did it the last time.

    Playing a DD was never as easy as it is right now? Cant remember the last game I lost in Benson. Why dont you try and ask yourself, what you can do better? Or ask the forumites for help. Create a topic and you will be helped.
  24. Thats actually a nice idea! It would also give incentive to finish low-HP targets, because else they might repair and you´d lose XP. But the game would need to tell players all of those mechanics. If its hidden like it is right now - all those changes are pretty much useless.
