They fixed some bug on T8 ships AA (cant say what, it said it was related with dealing too much damage) and buffed AA on all ships from T5 to T7. T5 small buff, T6 little bit more and T7 quite heavy. On T9/T10, AA got slightly nerfed across the board. Here we are in the range of <5%. With the exeption of T6 and T7 ships and ofc T6/T8 CVs, nothing really has changed. They would need to physically deny @El2aZeR access to his mouse to make a nerf count for him. He would still win tho - by capping the enemy team out with his CV. -
Well ok, ill change my position "should have never been released in that state". It was obvious anyway, that GC was going to overperform.

No. Balancing would have made sense within the first weeks after the release. You know. When people posted why this ship is too strong, attached hard evidence, with stats etc and shared good opinions, how this ship actually should look like. But WG needed more data money.

Man think about it... your very own OP-ship... how many ranked games have you lost only because the enemy had this OP ship? If you would only have it... you could rule and win all the time... Its just a little gamble away! -

Yea like I said: you are (still) in a different stage of judging the actions of WG. Its not about stats. Its not about balancing. Its about this: And that was dirty af. If you really want to tell me, they havent planed this before xmas / Ranked Sprint then I have no words. Oh yea, lets make T5 ranked, so people can advertise the Cesare, Gremy & Kamikaze. Piss off as many folks as possible, so that they want that ship. Well cant buy then anymore, too bad! But you can gamble for it! Oh yea and then there is T9 ranked, where Missouri can shine... True, and there is not much logic in that. Although you can get reliable cita hits with a little training, but yea, its RNG style like shooting with a BB at a broadside cruiser. Maybe they should have changed the way AP bombs deal damage to make it easier to balance. Like bring the citadel damage closer to the pen damage, so that you can get more consistent results and allow for more precise drops. ooor: you remove AP bombs completly (they were stupid in the first place) and make it HE only. It suits the DoT-focused approach of the new CVs better anyway. Sorry, we cant all be as constructive as you are. Exhibit A above -
No, ofc not. You need to find the right balance, from where you can support your team, tank some damage (that is not going to kill you) and are so close, that the enemys have respect and wont overrun the rest of your time near you. It takes time to find the right balance and you need the right tools. Like set up the minimap the way @ColonelPete suggested. Also, use premium consumables. Its just that important, that I suggest this to anyone these days. The credits you spend on them will flow back by your better performance. Stats say 3 ;) Anyway, my points still stay, as a DD should have more than 594 spotting damage in any round they play.

First - this: second: @Toni112007 - You complain about losing with DDs. Dealing damage is fine and dandy with a DD but it wont win you games. You need to spot. Pay special attention to "damage upon spotting". Your record - granted, only across 3 games - is 594. Thats means, you didnt provide any spotting for your team, 1 pen they got while you were scouting. It tells me: you are either alone, somewhere on the very flank or sitting in your own smoke. You need to rethink the way you play your DDs. Also: please stop playing Tirpitz. You arent ready for T8.

@Yaskaraxx if you were honest, you would mention what T8 CVs do in T6 games. Also, there is not going to be a 3rd Hotfix - or do you see any critical bugs that need immidiate attention? -

HE? tunnel vision? One of the handfull people here in the forums that actually can connect things and see how mechanics interact and why we see the things that we see? The level of personal attacks, because people are out of arguments, and thes see it as the only way to discredit other people, is incredible. -

Look at the avg damage of DDs. Last week only. check T5 DDs, check T10 DDs. you will go wtf at some points. We have T5 DDs with higher avg damage then *all* T8 to T10 DDs. -

I think this discussion need to focus more on low tier DDs. With high tier DDs, you can somewhat diminish the impact, a CV has on you (you are still effed, dont get me wrong) but many of them have somewhat decent AA to stop the CV from permaharrasing them and the torprange gives you atleast a change, to deal damage. Now try a T6 DD. -
Yea. Should absolutly be in the game. In mean, you cant deny historical facts and realism right? And well, when 152 mm guns put out coninous damage of 1200 or something, I think Yamato should get, well, lets say 3600. Oh yea, and the range must atleast be 24km. Rather 30km.

impact bad CV player versus good CV player changed?

You can argue if the new gameplay of CVs is more connected to the other classes - I think its the opposite. Before, the CV (a good CV, have to add), had to watch out for his team, could help with localized spotting, help his DDs when he was beeing shadowed from the red CV or help any ship with fighters, that was dropped, with fighters. Now you cant argue, that this all is gone, because it is. But if you can specificy, why you think the new CVs are more connected, im interested in how. Also about the stats: These stats have been gathered since 0.8.0, so they include the things before the hotfix and the second hotfix. Also, some people already knew how to play the new CVs while many others not. So they went with an advantage into the new class, ofc paying off in higher winrate. Im not giving much about winrates at the moment and the overall stats are tainted anyway. We have to wait a few weeks and then check weekly stats. Those will give an indication. -
WG might be trying to find out, what the requirements for them need to be. So they need some data from the live server. Then I think they will be back. After all, the missions are still there. If they´d plan to get rid of them completly, they would have changed the missions.

Im using the exact same build as @DFens_666 posted on my Mino. Played it that way in a CV-divi aswell. You dont reeeally need the AA-skills. But if you want to build for it, use manual AA instead of AFT.

You meant to say this: And even if that would be true - again, you couldnt be more wrong, but ride with it, its more funny this way - how emberassing would it be, to be taken to school by someone, that didnt play the class? Again showing, you know nothing about the mechanics. 3 persons now told you. It starts to make more and more sense, why we see whine at the same time, when other people manage to get good results. WG simplified the gameplay. Obviously not enough for some. git gud, l2p, then you can talk with the big boys.
