Np, a rather small mistake. I just had to point it out, since you were pretty critical about another forumite. But im actually criticising the lack of information available through the game about ships like Stalingrad for players, that dont have her, so I can understand why this happens. Well, yes and no. Both sides can be used to draw a false picture. I dont like those fantasy scenarios, that people often draw, when they try to prove how OP or bad a ship is. But stats can also be misinterpreted. So we need to use logic and be fair, if we really want to judge a ships performance. And I dont see it as as some do. I will actually admit that I dislike Bismarck a lot and dont like to play her. The concealment ist bad, it handles like a turd, the firing angles are prolly the worst about the ship. It feels so unnatural, when I want to use my back turrets, thats its not even funny anymore. Also the superstructure takes huge damage which kinda removes the advantage of having a turtle back armor. Especially for good players, how work around BBs with citas like the Monarch. Amusingly accurate actually ^^ you sure you didnt peek? The thing is this: The Dispersion is actually not as bad as you make it sound. The real problem comes from tthe fact, that Bismarck has only 8 guns in combination with the shitty firing angles. Thats why it makes you feel, that you have bad dispersion. Bismarck also reloads a little bit faster, to make up for that. Ill say its not enough to make up for the lack of guns tho. Id rather have a standard 30 sec reload like other BBs and then accuracy like the Vladivostok which wouldnt be as bad because of the mentions downsides of the number of guns / firing angles. I would actually love for WG to use the test server for exactly such kind of tests, but I guess thats not happening. -

Because Bismarck meets T10 cruisers? Also, Hipper has 27 mm these days. It would help, if you step away from the spreadsheet theory and rather look at what happens in the real world, aka on the servers. Also: rushing and brawling a Bismarck with said Alaska (which is T9) is far more dangerous then f.e. taking on a Monarch, Amagi or Vladivostok. Like 27mm Stalingrad? What is missing in this discussion, is personal preference. I play Monarch over Bismarck every day on the week. Also Amagi vs Bismarck - I know my pick. Anyway. Anyone had a look at Main battery hit ratio? quite funny. -

Thats quite normal, when you play a RN CL, especially Neptune and Minotaur. Many players know, how weak their armor is and that a spotted RN CL actually spells "XP Pinata". So you need to avoid those situations. Pay attention in carrier games. You see the planes before they spot you. Act accordingly. Either smoke up, angle towards the enemys or get yourself behind an island to block shots from the enemys. Then wait until the CV is gone or you shot down the planes. Luckily, RN CLs AA is quite good so no intelligent CV wants to stay close to you for a long time. -

I actually told MrConway, that the battlecruisers make other T9s and especially the Neptune suffer but apperently spreadsheet says "Neptune is fine". 2 (But I won those aswell xD) But yea, Neptune is great in a division, especially when you have a DD screening for you and vice versa - when you can support a DD, no denying that. Thats why I actually argued for a buff like... a year ago or so? But I got shut down in the forums, since with stats like mine, its not allowed to ask for a buff (and as we see, neither are people with bad stats allowed to ask for ships buff, cuz l2p. conclusion --> can never ask for ship buffs in the forums). But honestly, concealment needs to be more in line with Edin/Mino. Everything else is ok imo. -

Muh Neptune. One of my favourite ships. But I dont understand the reason for the worse concealment / smoke firing penalty either. @Duecut as you see from the replies, its rather a player problem. Why dont you post some replays and get some help, how to play them? Im sure I can help you out, but I need to see some gameplay from you. -

This are basic marketing moves. You even mention it yourself - loot boxes. First: create hype. Second: restrict access (limit supply) Third: profit. Sure, a veteran gets 58% WR with any ship. Easily. Couple of guys prove this over and over. Not long ago, we had a guy on the forums, playing all DDs after the CV rework. He did outstanding in every one of them. And why people pick some ships to club, I have explained earlier - they are hyped. You think, the difference between ships are that high, that its make or break? You really think, that this game is so out of balance, that all ship fall into 2 categories? A) totaly broken OP and B) absolutly unplayable? And let me ask you this question: is Kongou a OP-broken-sealclubber in your book? How come I picked her, when I have GC in my port? How come, I did even better then playing GC? My stats are open, feel free to check. Those are facts and Id like to hear, how that fits into your narrative. Sure, Kamikaze is the better ship. But If I´d have to 1x1 in those ships, Id pick Nicholas. And second: the part "whoever plays it" is just wrong. There are enough ppl that suck in Kamikaze. There are infact people who suck in GC or any other OP ship that comes to your mind.

Did you know, there is a clan out there, dedicated to play T1 in division? Did you know, they top all stats when it comes to WR - in tier 1 ships? So there are no premium ships, there are not even premium consumables so what makes the difference here? You need to get away from the thought, that people get clubbed because of a ship. People get clubbed because the guy on the other side has more skill. In most cases, the ship doesnt matter.

I do actually agree on this one. I will also go further and say: same applies for ships like GC. GC was hyped, especially by one guy, one video. In that video, the ship was much stronger compared to what we got on the release but who cares. People were hyped. So they went and bought the ship, experianced players, that mostly havent touched T5 BBs for a long time. And they get awesome results and think its only the ship, while infact - its them. I actually had this theory and went to test it recently. I took out the ARP Kongo again, a ship I hadnt touched for, well, almost 2 years? I never was good in her. 47% or so. Then I did this in the last weeks: Couple of games already dropped from the 21 days, there were even better. This exceeds my performance in GC, which I play pretty much regulary from time to time. So anyone got explanations how that can be? No doubt you are wrong. btw: this thread finaly made me come back from hibernation. I was close before. well done?

The one who is trolling is you. Beercrazy asked about a possible problem/bug, I confimed and gave advice, how to avoid that situation, while you run around, telling everyone, they have no idea what they are talking about and posting stats, totaly irrelevant to the point.

Classic Argumentum ad hominem/Argumentum ad personam from @Zuihou25. So defensive, that there is nothing else left. Lets say for a moment, you are right (which you are not, just FYI) - isnt it embarrassing, I know more about your favourite class as you? Yes, that must be kinda embarrassing. Not sure why you shout it out to the world tho. Thats exactly why I manually speed up first. Once im moving in the right direction, the autopilot has never failed so far. You lose a couple of seconds with starting planes but that seems worth it. And yea, the best way would be, to give control over the hull back to player. I dont know how likely that is to happen tho :/

Someone, who obviously understands, what he is talking about. If his ships turns around while in autopilot mode and follows the path in reverse - It can not be his fault. Dont you understand that? How hard do you try to defend this rework against everything? Even bugs are not allowed to be mentioned? wow...

Like BB AP vs DDs? Typical WG move "lets make the game really stupid". Flooding nerf. Saved my a$$ in KGV yesterday. Had a permaflood for ~50 sec. Actually, It would have been 50 sec before, since my DCP was that far away but now? floodingtime reduced + flooding damage reduced + signal + BoS = ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Or how about YY. -
Just because it hasnt happened to you yet, doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Dont worry, play some more and eventually it will happen to you. You really think, he doesnt know how autopilot works? Or where his bow is? You didnt even read his example, else you might understand. Ill make it more obvious. Think about it: @beercrazy here is how I do it: Usualy, you move at the start of the round. So I put my CV in gear and turn toward where I want to go, before I start any planes. Wait a couple of secs, until I got some speed. From there, I can work with the autopilot. Cant guarentee, that this works 100%, but so far, it did the trick for me.

Daily login bonus f.e.? I often sit half of the day ingame, doing nothing. There is a reason why some people call me "professional afk´er". Thats why I know from personal experiance, that players online can be misleading. Like: So you are online in the game yourself, but not playing? Might make sense and might be one reason. There might be a lot of reasons actually. Maybe people are playing more coop (which actually seems to be true). Actually it isnt. The last weeks games played where down. Now, this week, it recovered. So people (like me) have not been wrong, saying over the last weeks, that games played are down, cuz they where. Not sure whats the reason for the last week? I dont think the small hotfix is the cause for it, since id didnt change much.

...and that is what he is talking about. Nothing was in the way of adjusting the damage values of RTS CVs. The thing is: WG invested almost no time in RTS CV balancing and made no effords over years. And not acknowledging that it would have been possible to adjust the damage output of RTS CVs is dishonest in a discussion.
