Sadly, playing skills are not like wine or cheese. They dont automatically become better by throwing them into a dark basement and forget about them for a couple of years.

Ive hardly ever read a post, that was 180° off in every point. congrats, yours pretty much is... Just a couple of things (im sure, other guys will take care of the rest) - Did you know, you literally gain more XP and credits as a T8 dealing damage to a T9 / T10 ship, compared to dealing the same damage to T7/T6 ships? well, now you know. - Did you know, that economy on T10 is WAY WAY worse then on T8? If you will be dealing 10k avg dmg with your Midway, you will not be looking at -40k silver but rather at -250k. well, now you know. - Did you know, that other surface ships have to pay silver for consumables, 25k each? some need like 4 to be be competetive so thats another 100k minus even before the first shot is fired? well, now you know. - Did you know, that currently, this very forum is rather full of complaints, how OP CVs are, and that you are the only one claiming, CVs "dont stand a chance?" well, now you know.

Oh boy. Dont take this the wrong way but: 1. What you did with Ranger, can not be called a "success" 2. Thats what happen, if you perform bad. Its how the game is designed. 3. Thats what happen, when you dont know how to play a CV 4. wut? You are the perfect example, that there indeed is a learning curve. And you havent even entered the curve yet. LOL! You do know, we can see yout stats, right? Nobody with that performance will and should gain credits, especially when going beyond Tier 6 Easy. Play better = win = make profit. But its easier to complain here, right? How about you use the forum to ask for some help? You need it bro.

.... having to fight 3 DDs for almost the entire time of the match, who all hunt me and either outgun or outspot me. The fact, that my team/cruisers was/were hardly interested in helping me AND that I actually manage to take them down 1 by 1 with Benham guns says enough about weekend teams...

wtf. seriously? I missed that. Can I see/read that anywhere? Man, this really makes me angry after all the suggestions the community brought up to them, the hours people spend to think about how to improve CVs for everyone to enjoy, pointing out the flaws and problems... then WG comes up with something that literally NOBODY EVER requested... and then its OUR fault?

aand to all the BBs just waiting for that. Death sentence as a cruiser. Its literally how Haku torp spam worked right after the rework - make the entire enemy fleet turn broaside so they´ll get farmed. Also, some cruiser rely on beeing stationary, so they have no time for manouvering. CV is back once your smoke is on CD. then what?

T1 ofc. how is that even a question? but im not allowed to talk about it. First rule of the fight club and such...

Its also possible to win the jackpot in the lottery. 5 times in a row. Its also possible to jump out of a plane from 10 km altitude without a parachute and survive. Its also possible to be mowd down by a train and survive without a scratch. But nobody in their right mind would actually bet on those things, let alone try them...

Oh and on top of that: it was literally one of WGs goal to remove discrepancy in Winrate with CV rework. And they literally meant, that people with 40% in other classes should no longer be able to pull of 60+% in CVs. Their words, not mine.

So someone with 40% WR on this account overall is decent? - thats what @22cm was hinting at, in case you missed it.

That alone is enough reason to improve it, dont you think? ^^ But yea, im manually checking myself, and celebrate every time, I get shots through while the indicator tells me otherwise.

Indeed... Fair enough. You know as well as I do, that many people in this forum are capable tho of making such statements while beeing totaly serious. So such sarcasm is not easy to detect these days. Lets leave it at that. So if we reach 100% CV-battles, CV-rework is super-mega-success?

So after last evenings 3x3 Clan brawl I had a few things in mind, that Id like to share/talk about and prolly get @MrConway & @Crysantos onboard for some exchange of feedback. First of all: It was great fun and I hope this becomes a somewhat regular format. Much easier to gather some people, quick battles, way less pressure to perform then in normal clanbattles and the rewards are, imo, really worth it (if you take into account, that you get 2500 XP for a win). 2 things are not optimal in my opinion tho: Prime time: So you had to select a prime time before you can go into battle. This is a little bit unconfortable, especially for larger and very active clans. Taken from our clan as example, we have a couple of guys, that work shifts and work on the weekend. They often cant participate in the normal clan battle season, which is already a shame but understandable, that there can hardly be done something about it. In 3x3 this gets worse tho, as they might be able to play the early time on Asia - but then the rest of the clan couldnt play in the afternoon anymore. So one group has to step down and give up their chance to play, even if they had the time. Is it maybe possible to select 2 prime times for the 3x3 format? That would give enough stretch I guess? Or remove selecting the prime time completly and just open the clan brawl for the entire time to everyone? Two brothers map + Epicenter: This was sort of a weird combination. I dont think the map suits the 3x3 format. Everyone I talked with so far, kinda confirmed, that two brothers was the bummer of the evening. All other maps worked fine imo. Then there was also the thing about the waiting time - some guys seem to have to wait for 5, 10 or even more minutes. Maybe we can narrow it down, when that happened? I played between 20:00 and 22:30 CEST and we had instant matchmaking all the time. So guys, if you have more feedback - throw it out!

Which you dont, since you are tricked into belieaving, I said something, which I didnt. A) such things dont exist to my knowledge B) that is not proof either. Proof is, looking at the actual matchmaking scripts/server files. Or looking at acutal evidence, f.e. patents WG is holding about matchmaking. Which I did, but I think the vocal guys here didnt.

Boise - super strong cruiser for its Tier T-61 - I can only confirm what @Major_Damage225 says: awesome DD, deals with any kind of Matchmaking. Scharnhorst - always an option imo. Then there are a few DDs, which are always worth a thought imo: Kidd, Asashio for the special lul game or Lo Yang. Massachussets sure IS fun, but 2 things: You need a special captain for that, if you really want to make use of its strenght. Maybe you have one like that because of Georgia tho. And second - IF the IFHE rework really comes, the secondaries might lose its flavour and you are left, well, with a worse NC (besides still beeing a premium ofc)?

If anyone, that describes perfectly what you are doing. But yea, you are now down to name-calling and shaming & putting words in my mouth, since you cant back up your claim. Propaganda 1x1. Yup. literally everyone. I tried to division with a Hosho and a Yubari, selected an Orion and it didnt let me click into battle. It said "Your clubbing division is missing russian Bias. please chose Nikolai to proceed." Do you have more intelligent questions like that? So I take it you take your objection back.

...and dont have captain skills & modules & will keep the planes above the DD because the AI in 9/10 cases is too stupid to fly a successful attack. But "I SHOT DOWN 82 PLANES" sounds so much better without any context ^^

A halfway decent played CV (not even talking about the best players in that class) will pretty much destroy the game of a DD. Especially when you are the only DD in that game (as @Seraphiem described above). Also, CVs are the direct counter to the primary jobs of a DD, which are playing for the objective and spotting. A CV can completly shut you down from capping and make you hide, so that you cant even spot. Again, this is what average players do with a CV - the best will straight out kill a normal DD player in the first 2 attacks max. Not justifiying how some people behave, but I can see from where this is coming.
