    Really? Often high tier matches have such bad gameplay that I cant stand it. Although since I got Gearing and Bourgogne its bearable, because you have that much more influence (often T10 DDs are so useless, that just beeing competent yourself makes all the difference). I actually enjoy Kongou more tbh.

    I 100% believe you. The reason for that: I had this very same thing happen to me. A random, friendly Scharnhorst once started pounding at my Fiji right away. When I spoke up in chat, why he was doing that, he said he was sorry and it was his first game (I went to check after the game, and indeed, this guy had 0 (1 then) games on his account and went straight into a T7 battle with the Scharnhorst. Now, im not sure whats more scary: the fact, that such things happen OR that such a person, with 5 mins experiance under his belt, was actually able to listen, write and communicate in chat. Then you compare this to the communcation attemps during a normal random battle, where people with 10k battles ride around, not able to read, talk or understand basic informations....

    Totaly agree with you but I think we can forget about that. This is the new WG tactic: with every new line/directive, there is a freemium tied to it. However, that ship is much worse then the silver counterpart. Hill, Sirocco and now Genova. When I first saw Genova, I made the call, thats its going to be the premium tied to the italian cruiser directives (because it looked shitty)^^

    You do understand, that stats refelct the way you play and not vice versa? And Ill let you in on a little secret: I dont need to see the stats to identify a 40% player, or, when stats are gone, a bad player. In many cases, this is obvious within the first 60 secs of a game. Also, its funny how you blame "muppets" for your losing streak but get all worked up, if someone is looking at your stats and critisize you. wow. You dont see the contradiction in that, right? and: rofl. this is wrong on so many levels. The entire purpose of this game is to win. Any PvP game is build around winning. You know, thats the very definition of "player vs player". Also part of this is competing. This includes doing your best and trying to become the best, which is meassured in ... stats. So if you have a problem with playing for the win, interacting with the team and focusing on getting better, then you have a problem with the very core of this game and any game that falls into the category of PvP. I suggest you look for another type of game, as it sure will make you more happy. Which is really mind boggeling is, that you think, you could make stats "go away" somehow. You do understand... that even if we wouldnt have wows-numbers etc. each player would still have a Winrate, right? And that winrate would exactly be the same as it is now, right? As goes for all the other stats. You also understand, that people would find ways to track their stats, right? And since this is PvP and people like to compete, this would happen - oh wait! it aleardy IS happening. Because you understand, that pages like wows-numbers and alike have nothing to do with Wargaming, right? And players, that are actually interested in getting better, use these stats and statpages to check their performance. Because they like it that way. So yea, im gonna repeat it: you need to switch the genre. How about Simcity? You can build your own town, nobody will disturb you, there is no chat with unfriendly guys. Or try one of the Paradox-titles. Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis. You can play hundreds of hours against AI and it never gets old. Can also lower the AI-level if its too hard for you. And there are no stats, since it aint PvP. Glad I could help you.
  11. Unfortunatly, on the other team as @Durin_VI a couple of minutes ago. I wanted to greet you but was too busy raging at my "team" and trying to keep the game alive. Did not forget the compliment tho . Seriously among the worst teams ive seen in the last months, not even OP Cesare could help me there . I actually told those people, that pushed into you, that you are a very good player and to stop hunting you - well, the result is there for all to see. But you had a great game, well played mate!

    That game was a perfect example how r****** to the bone this community is. It was so lost for us and not because the enemys were better - but because we had half a team of total usless d**s****. But hey, that doesnt say anything about the quality of the the rest of your team AND the enemy team. They had 2 DDs left, 4 caps, 800 points and we had no DD - yet they got spotted and killed. The entire games shows in every step, whats wrong with the game and the players. And among those ~18 "i dont care lalala" players there are ~6 that are actually trying to play the game. The rest are simply not playing the game, period. Oh and Well because we can read, have eyes and a brain. When the Iowa announces in chat, that he will suicide and a stock Ibuki straight rushes into all spotted enemys 3 mins in the game. But yea, looking your stats I know you dont understand such things.

    Well what if the community stomps its feet as hard as they did with the spotting mechanics? If people just stop argueing about little details and agree on a general direction, which is "it shouldnt be possible to play T10 all day long without losing credits" then it might have chance, honestly.

    You are right. Its kinda depressing. Not much more to say at this point. I dont know how many hours Ive spend in this forums, because I always thought I can make a difference for the better. Yes, there were occasional moments, when this happened. Like when the community sticked together for the change of the spotting mechanics (which still isnt in the game - says again a lot about the publisher). But mostly, the community is at each others throat. Most of the arguments are thrown back and forth because of personal dislike between the people, that has developed over the years. And all the efford, some guys put into thinking and posting suggestions how to make the game better end up in locked topics. Which is sad, since the spotting-example shows, that we actually have the power to change something. On the CV rework, the community actually failed. And the reason why the community didnt stick together is simple: hate. So many people had so much anger piled up about the RTS CVs (and sometimes even on a personal level against players of those RTS CVs) that they supported anything, if they only get rid of RTS CVs. More and more people say this about high tiers. And another person I played with today has said the exact same thing as you: 1 in 10 high tier games is fun. The other 9 are...well, we all know what they are.

  16. Ah you know what? You opened my eyes @valrond. Im gonna agree with you. Stalingrad is such a useless ship. Killed in 2 salvos. We need to massivly buff it. The armor is so weak. Every hit citadell. Lets remove it, its so annoying getting hit in the cita. Bourgogne - such a piece of crap. I see them constantly dead beeing useless. We need to buff it. Maybe 5 second reload will do it? Then average player can hit better. Kamikaze? what a shite boat. All the time I see them beeing useless, low health, beeing spotted you are dead, nothing you can do. Average player needs to get waaay too close, its too hard. Give it 20 km torps! Belfast? doesnt even have a heal !! HELLO !! every damage sticks. All the time they die without doing anything. And their radar - too short range! all the time, the radar catches nothing. It needs... hmm... 20 km maybe. Because I see people radaring from the spawn and they dont even FIND THE DD! That counts for all radar ships btw. All the time they use radar and its such a useless tool. Royal Navy Cruisers - WHERE DO I EVEN START!! they cant tank at all. We should just take the Bismack armor model and apply it to all RN cruiers starting with the Emerald. Remember: if you want to argue against my points you are not allowed to use "but unicums are super good in those ships". Remember - YOU said: they are irrelevant. Now I want to see how you get out of this one my friend.

    Solution: play mid tiers. There you have games with 2 Cruisers now, because CVs and BBs are best buddies there. And thats why looking at average numbers tells you very little about the state of the game in specific tiers @ColonelPete ...

    The thing is: if you die early, you get less XP then in a normal battle. So this is not flattering, since die number of times I die early is not linear with the percentage of XP im losing in relation to the entire XP im gathering over X battles. Its way lower. No, ofc not necessarily. Nobody said that. But mate, we literally have people, that say "I dont care about my team, I dont care about wins, I want to play as many ships as fast as possible so I rush in" (I literally had a guy 100% percent say this, im not making this up!) aswell as the people that go "$%&$§$§ WG, im low tier again I will yolo (or go afk)" im 100% positive you have seen this or similar at the start of a game in chat. Its utter toxic, it goes against any unwritten law of multiplayer games and it ruins the gaming experance of everyone evolved in that game massivly. Which is bad for the game, bad for the community and bad for the future of wows. Thats actually another nice idea. It would stop people from spamming ships. Im also one of those people, that watch games to the end, even if I die early. I just want to see whats going on and I can observe different kind of gameplays. I think, not many players actually do this? It feels like, a lot of guys exit right away once they are dead. It could be like you can only enter a game every XX minutes. Or you can not have more then 2 (?) ships simultaniously in battle. So you couldnt start a 3rd game when 2 ships are still active. Bottomline is: something needs to be done. Look at the amount of people complaining every day in the forums (yet they are only a small percentage of the playerbase) or look at the toxic ingame chat. Hardly any round where someone starts to go mental because they observe bad play (be it justified or not) and if you have a game, where you dont see this toxicity in your chat - chances are high its happening right now on the other side.

    So what does it change? We all sometimes die early for whatever reason. That amounts to like 0,00000001% of your XP / credits that you wont be getting. big deal. Unless you do it constantly and those useless players need to learn how to play or faced with such a harsh economy, that they cant efford to keep on playing. Or have to pay real cash for each and every game. Non teamplayers have no place in a teambased game. period. You can twist and turn and throw your buts, but its not going to change that fact.

So if you want to argue against this punishment beeing applied, you need to open your own topic and argue, that the mechanic needs to be REMOVED. You talk, as if it doesnt exist at this very moment - which it does... Yes it will. Because ultimatly, those people can not afford to play their ships, since they run out of credits. Easy. Thats an entire different issue tho. And sometimes, I rather have an AFK then a DD dead in 2 mins. That could actually be a usefull addition. Atleast yolo´ers, that get something done, get rewarded. I can live with that. Nope. thats not what he said. Read again.
