Yea, I can usualy do like 3-4 games max then im bored. And I have the same prob - some in my clan decided not to go for it from the start, which makes going with a 3 man divi in harder. Did you and @Captain_Newman bother with the T9 or T8s? I did the T9 first, because I thought a T9 perma camo is better then nothing. Got that in the last box, ofc. So now im still trying for the T10 one. Not that I expect the camo to see before box 24 ^^ -
We dont even field a Smolensk (well, sometimes we have one, depends who is playing) because its not strong enough overall? its stationary, vulnerable and in a T10 only environment ((higher fire resistance of T10 ships compared to T8/T9 in randoms) against experianced players with decent captains its strongest point - burning down stuff - is limited. The best thing it does is quickly killing DDs but for that you can field other ships, which overall bring more options to the table.

Serious suggestion: change your stove. Induction will save you from this. They have an auto-shutdown, when they get too hot and most of them have a timer aswell. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Induction_cooking#Safety If you dont want to rebuild your kitchen, there are single / double stand alone models available aswell, not even expensive. I started with that because I wanted to test out, how good they really are. Didnt take long and my old kitchen stove flew out of the window ^^ -

Lul. The fact, that you mention something like "Z-46 smoke is terrible" as an argument in a DD vs DD engagement with a Benham says it all. btw: by the time the Benham torps (if u get them off) reach the Z-46 smoke, Benham is on the ocean bottom. So Z gonna leave the smoke and be like Also. Did I mention Hydro? -
Why can many campaign missions not be done in co-op?

That really so? For me, they are the best type of missions. I would have loved to have a Kuznetzov campaign aswell instead of a hard grind mission chain, that basically forces me to take a couple of weeks of from work. Yea, welcome to Wargamings way of doing things... you´ll get used to it. or not. Either way, they dont care. sigh. And yea, after a couple of years hanging around you will be as disenchanted as I am. -

Soloing a Kremlin in CBs. I almost felt, how his feeling of "harhar, thats an easy snack around the corner" slowly turned into a "oh shiat, this is going very wrong". Well, you dont mess with a Mino thats pushed in the corner and has no options left. -

Yea 175k is a lot. And thinking about legendary commanders, I cant help but wonder... Sure, Kuznetsov is a different class, more like Halsey and Yamamoto but still, the scale is off if you ask me. -

Honestly, if it really was as bad as you described, I would have quit playing the game alltogether, yes. Thats beside the discussion on this topic btw. Yea, like I said before, its legitimate to leave the function in coop and training battles, those were actually good points. Maybe should edit OP and name Ranked & Randoms in specific. They are punished right now aswell. And they are exactly because there are numbnuts out there, that without any punishment would abuse match leaving even harder, im sure of that. And on the real life emergancy I just have to say: when you kid hurt yourself or your house is on fire - you care about exiting to port, waiting to load etc pp? I mean people are different, sure, but I would just get up and take care of that. Matter of fact: I get up in the middle of the battle to let my cat in when I see he begs me to open the door. Why would I leave the battle? Im back in <30 sec when running (its easy to meassure when playing a BB, Im back before reload) so I cant take the rl emergency serious from any perspective. I either dont care or ill quit the game alltogether. There is simply no reason why a real life emergency would force me to go to port to be ready for a new battle 30 secs later - because thats what back to port means, beeing ready for the next battle ASAP. -

I think that would be a good thing (+ all similar tools) but I dont see how thats suppose to work? Those tools use public infos and combine that with the data, the players client is providing. And it runs outside of the game itself. -

Id ask the guy resposible for the CV rewöörk ^^ Well, this is mostly true. To a degree it also counts for many other cruisers tho. But im not gonna argue against it, it is a valid argument. I also have to say I have a different viewpoint since I refuse to play without a division and thus im never (or very rare) in that position. But yes, the damage potential against DDs is too much. In return they made the cruisers rather bad in other departments, I guess. Im not a fan of this min-maxing but right now it seems to be a favoured model among WG´s devs, sadly. -

In that case, you wouldnt technically quit the game per button but disconnect by other means. So maybe WG could differentiate. The game kinda does already, since you cant get back to the same game, once you used "back to port" (I think?) PS: that with the blocked keyboard happened to me too before. Slaying all keys again over and over did the trick at some point. I have a cat too ^^ -

They absolutly demolish DDs. And killing DDs wins games. I always go for DDs so I welcome a more specialized tool. Other than that, they play similar to russian and french cruisers. In some situations, italian cruisers will be worse, in others better. You know, thats the idea of beeing balanced. If they would be straight out better then the other cruisers in every department, we would have "OP & powercreep" topics by now. And I agree - its much better to have a line like this then a newcomer, that (once again) stomps all other older ships into the dust. Nobody forces you to play them, if you dont like them. You are supposed to pick a line that suits your personal style anyway, not round the other way. And by now you have plenty to chose from. -

The smoke is a very small gimmick, that hardly defines how to play this line. Also, the smoke is not design to be used to shoot from it like RN smoke is. -

How often did you use deto signal tho? But yea, I get what you are saying and its true. Its somewhat observation bias but annoying mechanics have this tendency.

Funny thing, I can answer this, because of a recent event. When playing the halloween OPs with our clan, we blew a star halfway in the game. Since we already had 4 and were aiming for 5, there was no sense in playing on. Thus we all decided to return to port. The first of us 7, that quit the game, turned pink for the usual 2 games. Nobody else was sanctioned in any way. By the looks of it, those ppl, that made it a habbit, simply dont care. They prolly do the 2 coop games and continue what they do. And yes, if all those reports are correct, then you indeed get pink/orange, if your internet connection drops or something else makes you lose connection with the game. However, if they would disable the button while the ship is still afloat, one could argue, that you could remove/lower these sanctions, right? I honestly think, those ppl, that leave battles on purpose, wont go through the hussle of shutting down the game via task manager just to get in the next game. But the suggestion to have AI take over a ship & give the human 0 XP sounds pretty good aswell. -
I agree with you, that there is a problem with detonations and DDs in particular. First, I never understood, why DDs are exploding on a way higher level then any other class. Wouldnt it make sense, from a balancing-gaming point ov view, to have all classes detonate equally? I´d say yes. And on top of that - for some reason CVs are totaly save from that mechanic. So in practice, we already have the blue print to demand this annoying mechanic to be removed. Pretty much any change or solution would be better then what we have right now. When playing DD, its pretty much mandatory to put on the deto flag. Which is somewhat stupid. It also favors players, that have access to those flags and throws those players under the bus, that dont, aka mostly new players.
