Funnily, ive been played more recently alltho im not more happy with the game. Just trying to get some enjoyment out of it... hope T9 CBs gonna be a blast

Easy: Enemies have more battles played

So if one CVs just murders the enemy DDs, and the other CV is CV sniping, how does the team profit from spotting? Not to mention, after the unicum CV is done slaughtering DDs, he will just slaughter every ship that dares to push forward - something which is a valid tactic if the team doesnt actually have DDs anymore. All in all, CVs just make things worse rather than better. Good CV players cause DD imbalance and prevents pushes, while bad CV players basicly dont do anything. Often they neither attack nor spot the necessary ships, so they dont alleviate the problem at all. I was just in a ranked game with my Fletcher, just sitting there spotting the enemy BBs for my team and torping them. The CV tried to attack me once, but often just flew past me to torp the ships behind me. Instead of just trying to spot me for his team, so i had to disengage or atleast smoke up. But i guess my no-AA Fletcher-build was too scary for him, thats why he lost 19 planes to me

After trying to have fun with secondary Pommern in ranked, which, how can i put this, didnt turn out to be as fun as i hoped it would. Alltho not because of the ship, but rather because of my teammates. First game 2 AFKs (one was talking, but refused to move because we didnt go where he ordered us to , btw he is a 39% player with >14k games) and the 2nd half my team yoloed into the enemies 1 by 1 before the 5 minute mark. So then i was like "Fine, ill take a DD", which ofc the game used to troll me. When playing BB, both games had 3 DDs/side. So what happens when i pick DD? Yep, 1 DD game, with CV and 2 Radar Cruisers on the enemy team But Fletcher is stronk Also for some reason, the 2 ships coming with me actually managed to deal damage upon my spotting (100k).

Please, can we ban those people? They are SITTING there DOING NOTHING, because team doesnt do WHAT THEY WANT!!! Look at this god damn [edited] [edited]

Yes both, but secondary reload is always active, while main battery reload is not.

I wouldnt watch PQ for learning the game. He is too much focused on "BBs weak - Cruisers strong". While he does provide some insight to his playstyle, i sometimes feel he is too focused on talking about other stuff. Also i feel he is getting away with a lot of weird plays, which actually should get him killed but for some reason nothing happens, which can be quite misleading. Id advice to watch Flamu, you cant go wrong with him. Also watch some of the older videos, like BB positioning or one of his Missouri videos - excellent for how to play BBs (dunno which one, i assume he has more than 1 vid tho).

When the game starts like this, its game on right away 2 ships lost at the 3 minute mark AND also both caps lost... Halfway through, one of our teammates (who ofc killed himself by blindfiring into Friesland smoke to get farmed to death, but NOT directly rushing its smoke ) said, i hope YOU lose the game (to our div). Really, these people think they are not losing in that case?! 70k spotting even jees. And getting shot at from everything across the map, i hate MMM, and potato alert and whatelse. These people see 65% WR on their screen and its some sort of magnet. So [edited]annoying, i hope WG adds an anonymizer at some point. Cant stand that [edited]. Also weirdly, i start to like drake One of the better T9 techtree Cruisers i think. Very tanky, the heal is nice (friesland started 5!! fires on me) and the HE power is very nice. Slapping an Alaska for 9k is funny

Well its hard to say, since they were bleading health, maybe if they are below 40k you could have a chance, but you probably need to hit bow AND stern with a torp for more damage. But definetely not with widespread btw.

Are there any other options? Id get either of them only if there is nothing else, and if id have too much coal in stock. Probably with how things currently are, id take Yoshino first.

Secondary PEF Tried it a couple of times now in Killer Whale and also Newport. That was the best result in Killer Whale^^ Shredded the transports and the onshore installations by just sailing past them Thats the build. Used the same in randoms btw, works there too. Would put the last 3 points in AR.

Wont get FDR out of principle, dont want Austin and why get Shiki? Might aswell just play Yamato for same experience... Yes i did Its not bad, dont get me wrong, but it does lack something... most likely the firing angles for the turrets are not good enough, which means taking risky plays is just... too risky. Played her yesterday and even a hipper had no issues getting citadel hits in a 1v1 when i was using all my turrets while kiting. Even fighting a Stalingrad seemed easier, as the Stalingrad did deal less damage with his AP than the Hipper Ofc the campy meta does not favour her. Dont want to speculate on the playerbase of the Belfast 43, but yes, it could make sense that mostly inexperienced players got her because of the name, but id assume there should also be RN Cruiser enthusiasts playing her, who know how to handle her.

Plymouth has both aswell, but its currently the worst steelship by WR (despite being the newest), so these 2 things might not be connected to one another. Ofc 9km radar on T8 is probably more useful than on T10... Interestingly after checking stats, Belfast 43 seems to be rather week compared to other ships, in both WR and damage. It looks like it has the 2nd lowest avg damage on T8, only beaten by Ochakov.

Can we also get buffs for Plymouth while we are at it?

Maybe they should give every user a couple? of free respecs each patch, like maybe 1-3 or something? Or like the coupons in the armory, we get a few coupons for a free respec every x months. Problem i see is, that we might never get free global respecs again

Might aswell make it free for everyone then. We get single premium days all the time, which means, most players could respec the captains for free anyway. And even if not, you can just get a day of premium for a few doubloons if you would want to respec a couple of captains, instead of doing it 1by1.

Probably too exclusive of a ship. Every potato can get Alaska nowadays, back then we had Missouri/Musashi/Kronshtadt, and Kronshtadt just got removed aswell, without a reason imo (definetely not popularity). Nowadays you can buy Alaska, or farming 1million freeXP isnt even that hard either. So my guess is, Potatoes bring down Alaska, while experienced players with Kronshtadt maintain the strong stats.

Well i wouldnt call it overpowered. Is it a strong Cruiser on T6? Definetely, but i dont think its too strong. In your example, id more blame the broken CV spotting, as we can perfectly see. CV spots the BB for you, you can farm him from spawn, and there is nothing he can do about it, since he cant disengage. He couldnt even reach any island to shield himself from your fire, because he is too slow. Now imagine, if the CV couldnt spot ships for you. Then the BB could move ahead, and bring an island between you and him if necessary. But now he is trapped in the open, without anywhere to go. Maybe the Visby could have spotted him before he died, but i assume the CV just spotted him like 1 minute in and you could start to farm him.

Well, you did up a really great fight at the end, so thumbsup for that If it makes you feel any better, it didnt really matter what you did. Your team died so fast, accomplishing nothing on the other flank so... nothing you can do about it. Also, your teammates on your flank didnt die because you left, they still had a DD. Here is what i would have done diffrerently: At this point, you could have stayed closer to the island and surprise the BB when it was rushing in towards your teammates. He actually rammed one of your Ganguts, which was preventable. Even the Gangut himself could have prevented that, but he was a new player, since he got the reward for ramming a ship... But even keeping him alive - wouldnt have mattered. But in general, if you play a DD with low torprange, and you have a BB coming your way, try to surprise him at an island. Probably a bit too eager here going in. Your CV was already dead by the time, so going too far wasnt the best choice. But anyway, its a 3vs9 at this point, so it was gameover. Nothing to save the game at this point, especially since your other DD was also suiciding into the enemy base. If you would have stayed together, there would have been a chance to kill the enemy DDs, but since he rather went into the base... Earlier in the engagements you could use your guns a bit more often, since you are spotted anyway. Also im not a fan, that you smoke up and then throw torps blindly. Yes it worked out twice, but thats more relying on luck, which can bite you in the [edited]. At this point i made a pic to tell you, this is a great moment to smoke up and start shooting the DD from inside the smoke, because your BB is spotting the DD for you. Sadly, 1 sec later your BB died. But i wanted to showcase this anyway, because thats a good way to help your teammates. If they dont need a spot, they can spot for you, while you try to help them with your firepower. Wouldnt have worked this time, but you can still use this at other times.

not sure if you want to have 1 more gun, while lowering your caliber to something, which cant even pen T8+ DDs anymore...

There is only 1 DD which has both smoke and Radar: Black. So unless you smoke yourself up, they cant radar you and be unspotted. PA DDs can carry radar, but then they forfeit smoke for it, and they dont have the greatest DPM anyway. Orkan and Smaland have radar, but no smoke. Smaland has insane DPM. The only real threat with hydro are german T8+, Z39, Friesland and Loyang/Siliwangi. But you spot all of them before they are in hydro range, so getting trapped inside their hydro is basicly just misplaying. Hydro DDs are very strong against weak players, because they make the mistake of entering the hydro range. But against good players, the hydro often doesnt do anything, except spot the torps which are coming for you.
