    You should get him somewhere between 130-160k coal (i did the math once, but i dont remember exactly any more). Ofc some speshuul people insisted that you need >220k coal, which is ofc nonsense. If you are really really unlucky, i think you are looking at ~180k max, which happens like 1 in thousand or so (maybe even less). So for the vast majority of people, Sansonetti will be cheaper than those for 175k coal. All numbers are just estimates from the top of my head, but thats what i remember. Quick check, i believe 168k was the number where many people will get him. Thats 28 containers, which means 12 items + 16 duplicates.

    Atleast they have a skill which makes them stronger^^ (can ofc work the opposite way if one cant aim ) The new cruiser skills are just retarded at best. Also CQC for BBs is not bad for certain gamemodes.

    Week 3+4 was nice in bronze aswell. I mean, players were clearly not the best, but atleast they tried and they would actually communicate. Week 1 was bad, week 2 was in between. Week 5 was bad again, i assume because of the patch (speshuul people getting reminded that wows exist by auto-update?), week 6 again a bit better. I hope next sprint will be better in bronze aswell, when the suiciders made their way into silver

    What Ranked League do you play this season?

    Got my 12 wins this week in Bronze. Probably wont even get to R1, because why punish myself? Its just frustrating. If i see people will play properly and not AFK/suicide their way to rewards, i might play more. But i decided i dont want to carry a**holes to a win, if they are only reward hoarding. They just spam games to get rewards or to R1 without even trying. Not gonna be a part of that!

    MM Changes for Tone?

    They could just put a one tier higher ship on the enemy team in its place - that could be fair... Alltho that would essentially mean, their MM would be -1/+2, because, f.e., Tone gets replaced with a Neptune, then it must be T7-9 MM. Tone could also be replaced by a BB. Which would be a problem for Ise, since you cant really replace it with some other class. But for Ise, you could put a higher Tier BB in its place without issues, because Ise is gonna be T6 and it already has -1/+2 MM. That could really make sense imo: - Tone gets MM, which puts a BB in its place, or better, Tone will take a BB place so to say. So one team has 4 BB + Tone, enemy team has 5 BBs - Ise will get replaced by a 1-tier higher BB, so even if its T5-7 MM it will work out. Also Div restriction must be 1 Hybrid and no additional CV, so a hybrid will essentially be a CV in the division. @MrConway @YabbaCoe What do you think of this? Maybe worth looking into, if you arent sure about MM for hybrids.

    Which person would voluntarily pick Axis? Only to get slaughtered? Nevermind that, since we are on the EU server and germany is part of europe... so we will get enough germans to pick german ships. If not, i guess Allies can just farm Bots most of the time

    I guess accounting for people dodging doesnt exist either? But anyway, we can just agree that WG can remove deadeye. I say, it should go because its bad for the game, you say it doesnt do anything, which means they can just remove it.

    I think most Cruisers without radar have that issue. Hindi, Zao, Venezia, they are only effective dealing damage. Even if Venezia can deal tons of damage to DDs, someone still need to spot that DD, same as for any other Cruiser. Id still prefer playing Henri over Hindi or Zao these days. Hindi simply doesnt have any AP performance over longer ranges, and Henris HE is imo stronger (AP anyway).

    Maybe rewards should be based on how well you play, or basicly what actions you perform within the battle. WG could set a maximum amount of games per season, and people can gather rewards in each game. The better you perform, the more rewards you will get. Ofc knowing WG, people dealing more damage would get better rewards, which is not the correct way. They would have to include everything, capping, defending, spotting, tanking and then give rewards based upon that. So if a DD deals little damage, but gets 2 caps and a lot of spotting damage, he gets good rewards. A BB dealing 100k HE/fire damage from J-line tanking 0 damage should get bad rewards. That could actually be a nice format, as you would get rewards even if you win or lose. If you perform good and lose, then you still get rewards. But if you play like crap all the time, you get less rewards. Id like that
  16. Indeed... Smaller maps, less range, BBs arent super accurate, Cruisers are small and nimble, DDs dont have insane torprange. Much more casual but also more fun. People get away with making mistakes, which is not bad. You can drive around with your Cruiser and dont get deleted with one salvo (well can happen, but not so likely unless you face a GC). Basicly i would say, everything is better balanced. On hightiers, the power levels just go off the chart, so everyone has to play too careful to not die within 30 secs after being spotted.

    Well it also helps in Cruiser vs Cruiser fights if that happens to come up. And if you dont get deleted with 1 salvo (which i doubt) you also get a bit more health from each repair party. And it actually has happened, that i managed to survive by having a few k HP left thanks to SE f.e. playing Radar Mino sometimes.

    Wouldnt it make more sense to run the rudder shift module then? Gives more benefit to rudder shift time. Fires are usually never a problem imo, only for BCs, because you get HE penned by everything which is not Smolensk and Colbert. Flooding reduction... well torphit hurts much more than flood either way, and how often do you get hit by a torp when you already used your DCP? Mainbattery repair time is one of the better things imo, because WG thinks its nice that Cruisers/DDs lose their guns/tubes all the time And we dont even get PM anymore

    You could play most Cruisers with 10-16 pt captains and it would be perfectly fine. I struggle myself to find any useful builds, i wont nerf my concealment because i want to get as close as i can do fight enemy DDs, so those are really no-gos for me. Even heavy-AP, i would only skill on BCs, and only because they lack useful options aswell... Thats what ive come up with basicly. In the end, the difference will be really small imo. Even if you get TGG and only get to use it in 1/10 games, it can still make a difference that one game. Which is probably better than something else. Forgot to mark SE btw, can also make sense on some ships (Smolensk, RN CLs...). Actually your Smolensk, drop the turret traverse and maybe AA and get SE. Imo that makes more sense.
  22. I think the question is rather: What is good play. Bad play is easy to explain. And thats why, playing BBs badly actually doesnt give you the feedback of playing badly, as you said so yourself. Maxrange sniping with your BB, letting your weak ships tank for you while you farm HE damage on enemy BBs is bad play, yet rewards you with good XP, and more directly: Damage. So if you play Cruisers/ DDs like that, what you gonna get? Nothing. Guns cant reach, and neither do torps. And the opposite of camping in the back is rushing in and dying. So how does good play look then? DDs need to watch out for and know these things: - CVs - other DDs - Concealment of other DDs and Radar Cruisers - Radar ships - Radar ranges - Fighting around caps - Torps - Hydro - Spotting ships for your team - Screening for torps Cruisers: - Fight around caps to support your DD - Overmatch from BB guns - Crossfire from BBs - Crossfire from BCs - CVs coming with AP bombs and AP rockets - Not overextending to get permaspotted without a way out. All of that stuff is way too much for the casual player. Imagine, if BBs playing badly would result in getting 0 damage. Thats what DDs and Cruisers get for playing badly (most of the time).
  23. For me its the other way around: If im in the heat of the battle, i totaly ignore the chat. Sometimes after the game, one of my div-buddies tells me how we get insulted, and im like "what? I didnt see that". Meanwhile, many bad players seem to react the way you describe: Dont react to anything, spotted ships, pings, DDs in their flank, showing broadside to BBs... nothing. But the second someone insults them, its game on. Maybe WG should remove Chat and put another minimap in its place Next time tell him to do whatever he wants? what a [edited]...

    Nah, his first struggle was getting to R1 in Bronze (so thats 8 stars from R5 to R1). Now he is playing the Qualifier with TX ships, where he needs another 5 stars to get through

    Well there is the difference between not wanting to play and not being able to get R1. First one could, but doesnt want to. 2nd one wants to, but cant. Every decent player can achieve R1 without much issues. Sure everyone can get unlucky, and infact there will be quite a few who will need more games than they should need, but they can still get there in a reasonable amount of games. Spamming dozens or even hundreds of games and not reaching it... yeah, thats only the players fault. Anyway, just checked, our OP managed to get to R1 and now spams qualifier games with his Halland. We will see him in Silver in a few days without issues!
