Not sure if anyone has access to those. The difference is, back then it was a 1v1 sprint which got recorded by wows.numbers, same as ranked games. Now its a brawl, and brawls never got recorded outside of wows itself. You could see Brawl statistics in your clans page, but since 1v1 has nothing to do with clans, im not even sure if it shows there? (havent checked). Go to you clan tab ingame, then clan members and see if it shows the option for brawls.

Do you also buy other tier premiums to play them in CBs? What if we never see a T7 CB season, i want my money back RIGHT NOW, because we never had T7 CB season! Infact, out of 12 CB seasons, 9!!! have been TX... OUTRAGEOUS. (1x T8, 1x T6 and 1x T9). Noone ever stated, that ships can always be played in ANY gamemode WG is offering, because noone knows what types of gamemodes will become available in the future. F.e. Musashi was only available 2-3 years ago, there was no T9 CB back then. And there was no indication that we ever get a T9 CB season either. You are just making stuff up to get arguements...

The problem is, that these ships can be balanced for 12v12 randoms, and thats pretty much all WG cares about. Heck, they can be balanced in 7v7 ranked, because you dont got in with 7 coordinated people, picking the exact right ships for that lineup. But in CBs, 7 people in voicecomm picking the perfect setup - some ships can become overpowered. Which then leads to the same setups being played over and over. And its just boring. HF going an evening in a BB, where you are shooting Superunicum Mogador players, who can basicly dodge 99,99% of your shells... its the opposite of fun. WG went the right way with restricting ships. Yet, its not enough. The base rule needs to be: 1 ship max, 1 supercruiser max. The problem is, especially in Mogadors case, there is another DD just waiting to replace it, and its basicly the same thing all over. So no techtree ship is free to get either, gotcha... i think we should demand reparations from WG for every silver ship they have ever nerfed, because, well, we all invested time to get them. We gonna be rich Izumo and Bajie can easily replace Georgia. Musashi wasnt the strongest pick anyway, the turret traverse can easily bite you in the a$$, especially when playing against Mogadors or if you are forced into a close quarters engegament.

That was my thinking aswell, but then i realized, T9 Cruisers dont have 30mm armor anyway, so i guess it doesnt really matter afterall 406/410mm can overmatch 27mm just fine... The only one which does have 30mm of armor is Brindisi right? (well Ägir has 90mm upper belt obviously).

I can imagine... ive had bad spotting delay issues aswell. I see im spotted, i wait for the enemy ship to pop up... nothing, suddenly i get shot at and then he starts to render. Much fun to be had

Interestingly my Brindisi manages to devstrike the Alaska !? and kill the Terrible before dying. Pommern and Pommern kill each other, im left alone vs Kita and Georgia, while they get all caps - nothing to win anymore -
I seriously cant understand why they always put two brothers epicenter in brawls. Must be utter hatred towards the playerbase, because there is no logical explanation why anyone would want to play on that map. Even more so in a 1v1, in a 3v3 you can make the arguement about blocking the caps each with a ship, but then its just staring at each other through islands, because making first move loses the game.

Not personal, just saying why i havent played it so much. Just because i dont play a ship very often, doesnt mean that i dont like it or that its bad. Ägir has more pen on its guns than Alaska. Ägir has more pen than Odin (Odin is basicly like Alaska, and they are only slightly better after 17km, which is pretty much irrelevant) Ägir has better reload than Odin - up to 5,4 sec with reload module. Alaska has 27mm bow - Ägir has 27mm bow. Alaska has 28mm upper belt - Ägir has 90mm upper belt. If Ägir cant tank, neither can Alaska. Btw Alaska gets citadelled aswell when it shows broadside, in case someone wants to claim, that Alaska is immune to cits or something. Ägir and Alaska use the same dispersion formula. If Ägir has poor DPM, so has Alaska. Kronshtadt has more pen on its guns, thats true, but it also uses BB dispersion. Basicly your arguement is, Ägir is trash, because cruiser x has better guns, cruiser y has more dpm and BB z has better armor. Truely a fair comparision... Ägir is strong in 3v3s, because of hydro and torps combined with good armor. Ägir will just beat an Alaska thanks to the torps. Radar is usually overrated in 3v3s, because the DD has to go for the cap. If you have a hydro DD, he can hydro the enemy DD through the island = no need for radar. Then take a BB with hydro, and a Cruiser with Hydro, and the DD is toothless. Btw in case you wonder the BB to pick in 3v3: Pommern. But i guess you will just say how much Pommern sucks lol...

Well Radar or Smoke pretty much. With Radar, you can also use it as a torpboat, because hardly anything can spot you. The only issue is 12km russian radar and CVs, which can just randomly spot you. -

Yep... i remember one game from the first 1v1 sprint, where i was playing Hipper. Got an Akizuki, who just turned around after spotting me and started to gunboat. I died before reaching the cap or an island- 182 replies

Only because ive had too many T9 techtree ships to grind in between. So starting 2020, ive played 4 games Ägir and 5 games Alaska, the others were techtree Cruisers ive been grinding (Buffalo, Riga, Ibuki, Donskoi) Also only got Ägir in june last year so... not to mention, havent played many randoms since then (like 200 or so). Ägir is awesome in 3v3s. Also noone is playing Kronshtadt in competetive. Comparing ships to Alaska is also really... So i guess, most T9 techtree Cruisers arent completely garbage if we compare them to Alaska? And Ägir is certainly not even that crap compared to it.

Playing Moskva and Stalin around the cap so that you can radar it should result in them being burned to death in 2 mins these days. It does matter and it should matter. The problem is, people dont want to learn so that THEY can work around it. Many DD players just want to have all benefits without the downsides. They think because they have 6km detection, that allows them to devstrike any ship from point blank range and its their god given right to do so. Its not. Anyone can choose to agree or disagree with this, and we all know that BBs and CVs dont have the same obstacles as Cruisers or DDs, but whining about it certainly wont help. WG isnt going to change it, and the last time they reworked radar, it only got worse. People would be way better off and trying to adapt to radar instead of wasting their time trying to convince WG to change it. How about this: - A DD desperately wants to get Caps 2 mins into the game. Doesnt look at lineups and ignores that enemies have a radar ship. Enters cap, gets radared, dies. No measures taken, probably sits bow in and makes a gamer turn to eat even more damage. Doesnt use islands to block shots. DD player complain Radar is OP - Cruiser wants to help his DD getting a cap. Sits in the open, broadside. Gets spotted by enemy DD and then blapped by enemy BB from 20km. Incidently, 99% of the players would say, that the Cruiser played like crap and deserved to die. Yet when a DD is playing absolutely oblivious, they are allowed to whine and demand radar to get nerfed. Think about it...

So everyone plays their own part anyway... removal of radar would change nothing, except for the few good DD players who can now rape the enemy team, assuming there is also no CV in the game. Why move up as a Cruiser? And certainly BBs would never move up at all. The average BB players answer as to why he camps 20km in the back is "because i have range". so the only way to get rid of BBs camping is to lower their range.

Which is exactly 1 ship which can do that How does that matter? Since we already established that the Cruiser is parked behind an island, which means he cant shoot you. Now if you position yourself at an island aswell, noone can shoot you! Marvelous, isnt it? Islands must be the dumbest thing this game has to offer, they make shooting at ships impossible

Without radar - Bad DD players still die, because they die to everything. They die by spotting themself on a BB for gods sake - Good DD players become stronger - Thus, roflstomps would increase even more People make it out to be, that good players can play around radar as if its a non-issue. That is actually not true. While you can play around radar, that also means you have to play differently. If there is no radar, you can just wipe the floor with the enemies because the only thing that matters is your concealment range. You can just take a risky approach and torp the enemies broadside. Contrary to having radar ships sitting at islands. You never know when they will pop radar (bad radar Cruiser players are extremely erratic btw) so if you choose to make an aggressive approach, the moskva behind 2 islands might think its a good time to radar and suddenly you get shot at by half the enemy fleet. If there is no radar, then that threat doesnt exist in the first place.

Eh, if you skill for maxrange and IFHE, you could get pens with the 90mm guns on some ships, and pens on T6-7 BBs with the 135mm guns. Not sure if it makes sense, but it could do something. If you also play Operations, it might make more sense in there.
