Sadly, this happens all the time... I wonder if its a conincidence or are they just waiting for that moment till they can flame u. Had to kite away in my Missouri on Okinawa just a couple of days ago, because i was perma spotted by plane (close to Cap B, but closer to A than C) Then a Cyclone came and i finaly could turn around (ENemies were heavily pushing towards B, and i was shooting them constantly). I rushed full into B with Cyclone around, and our others were in C, so we managed to get a crossfire. Came in, Radared, got Hood broadside for 31k (no kill tho...) our DoY dies shortly after that, yelling REPORT MISSOURI, ITS A BOT!... I was all the time saying in chat, game is not lost, we can get this. And in the end we won. -

I think its way more complicated than just 2 numbers. Ive outplayed solo players with 55+%, and my Division WR is like 62% or so. It also depends on the ships involved. Someone might have 55-60% WR in a Belfast, but when u get him in another ship, he might play badly and u can outplay him. Aswell can a player with much worse WR manage to hit me on the wrong foot and kill me. Every 1vs1 engagement is different. Sometimes u see ppl who seem to angle perfectly, but in the end they just want to Ram u Before he might have shown broadside constantly. -

Still u cant see the flaws in your logic and want to "prove" something with one battle in a probably shitty Cruiser... U use badass Cruisers spamming from behind islands with HE as an example that Cruisers are so easy to play. But that a BB can shoot at a Cruiser on the other side of the map LITERALLY killing him with one salvo - thats ok? How long does it take to farm one BB by yourself with HE? Depends on RNG ofc, but thats the point. Technically it might take u a whole game to farm that, depending on Cruisers and BB and then even more if the Cruiser needs IFHE and if he has it or not. And never forget: The Cruiser cant take that island with him. So u leave his range or rush closer, he cant shoot either due to lack of range or lack of arcs which cant shoot over the island anymore. Basicly your view is so biased that u openly admit not playing Cruisers AND STILL ignore other ppl who play Cruisers and BBs - like myself. But makes sense, since u cant argue otherwise against me (since my most played BBs are actually germans with better stats than my Cruisers ) so u write some nonsense like the above quote. Sure i can admit playing German BBs is sometimes more frustrating than f.e. playing Missouri. Still its easier than playing a Cruiser. I have to constantly check whats going on, and this is harder at higher tiers. Even T5s in T7 MM is easier than T8+ Cruisers. Usually at those tiers even many Cruisers spam HE at u when u are broadside - try that at higher tiers. They will farm u in no time. And then u get those 5 BBs who also want to farm u. Try going Broadside to a Moskva at almost any range from him - he will citadel u, at the same time that BB 20km away might get your broadside aswell. Clearly easymode.... if something is frustrating its not automatically hard to play. -
Ye i wrote that a bit weird now that i re-read it.. i meant like the worst enemy of a DD is a CV^^

I rather go with the statement from other players, that the lack of CVs brought up BBs. Less CVs -> More DDs which can do what they want, since CVs are the hard counter to DDs. Now that we have so many DDs -> Nerf Torps + give Cruisers Radar -> Less DDs. All that concludes to more BBs. But as i said, i didnt play that game as early, so i dont know if the game was fun back then. Yes would be good if DDs would search other DDs, but the selfishness of probably half the DD players is so incredible u couldnt get the enemy DDs without Radar. This got even worse with the 5th mission stage of the campaign now - i think some DDs will keep playing that way. Just yesterday on Hotspot ALL of our 3 DDs played like assholes, never capping and suiciding into the enemies because TORPDAMAGE While the enemy DDs played absolutely perfectly keeping us all spotted, throwing torps and stuff... unless WG forces them to play to their roles, and stops making those retarded missions, i wouldnt EVER remove Radar from the game. I can understand the logic behind that, but thats once again removing teamwork from the game. If Radar is only for me, then i wouldnt value it at all anymore. Often enough i cant shoot in my Missouri, but i want to help out my DD. Best case scenario so far was Mahan torping full HP Iowa which was rushing towards him, but got deleted by that Mahan thx to me. But i didnt have LoS nor could i shoot him.

Its funny, how is a Cruiser supposed to "git gud" and spot those DDs when the difference in concealment is sometimes more than double that of a DD! Yet they are supposed to kill em, i guess WG didnt see another option to that "problem". I didnt play WoWs back when it was called "torpsoup-meta"... so i cant know how it was before. About that BB Citadel thing: Ye, dont know why, obviously playing BB is too hard, noone can possibly expect them to NOT show broadside in between those 30 sec of reload... Oh btw how about those Cruisers who are getting citadelled from any angle? They have to "git gud" too u know? Its not like they got their citadels removed...

1. Tells others to play german BBs, basicly saying that Cruiser players argueing about BBs are wrong 2. Doesnt play Cruisers 3. Says Cruisers are easy mode. Feel free to look at my stats. Basicly ANY BB on mid-hightiers is ahead of in avg dmg than my Cruisers, only exception is Leander > Bayern. Even derpyderp Gneisenau and Bismarck are ahead of same tier Cruisers, and i play(ed) those secondary build. Usually 10-15% of my Bismarck damage is secondaries (alpha or Fire). Am i pissed when i get HE spammed from a Cruiser behind an Island when i play BB? Yep. Does it really effect my game? Not that much. Retreat, heal back up. Most players WILL do something at some point, either they move out because they panic, or they sit too long at that island and u can rush them down and kill him. -

imo still questionable, they are all part of that ship - and ive seen enough vids where someone gets 1 penetration, incapacitates a main turret and still gets the penetration damage... I wonder what enables that sometimes -
There is a lot of stuff which makes Radar usage much easier - and its usually the DDs fault. First they go into a cap and smoke. Thx u just pinpointed your exact location, i just have to watch my Radar range on my Minimap and bang *detected* Usually those players also sit nose in in that cap, and more often they take caps without cover anyway (yes i know some maps dont have cover). So first they need to accelerate, make a full turn while all the time being detected by Radar. Work in advance, either turn away in the cap, or reverse inside the cap, so u can escape quick. If the Radar ship wants to follow u, your teammates SHOULD punish him. Because he must overextend to follow u on maps where there is no cover. Its basicly the same with CVs: We had a match on okinawa with 1vs2 DDs + CV.. we told our DD, dont go B at start, its bad. He went there, planes spotted him, he died. Instead of learning something, blame the team for not helping him. If there are Radar ships, dont rush in too fast, maybe a plane or someone else does spot them, so u know where they are. Then u still know if its safe to enter a cap or not. And then u get those special DDs who rush into the enemies like madman, without cover and any chance to retreat, they spot a Radar ship and *bing*. Also same special ppl think its fine to go to ~7km from a Missouri and wonder when they get radared... a Missouri has worse detection than his Radar range I understand ships like Belfast (especially) which have detection = radar range. And ontop of that it even has smoke, that pretty much sucks. But other Radar ships have other shortcomings.

I dont think i ever had overpens that dont deal damage. Still 4 HE shells did 0 damage, which is plain wrong? That needs serious adjustment depending on how they nerf BB AP on DDs... I think its wrong that u hit something that belongs to the ship and u deal 0 damage... how about Citadel hits that disable your engine but deal 0 damage Btw i did hit 6 HE shells - the damage was just awfully low. -

Look at some streamers on twitch... especially germans who are like 30+ yo and its incredible how bad they are.... I dont even think many "kids" (atleast younger ones) even own PCs nowadays. They hang infront of their smartphone all day long. -

The problem is, that the BB can just blap everything with AP. Imo to "counter" DDs best, BBs should switch ammo to HE. Unfurtunately, this is usually far worse than shooting AP. Had a match yesterday with Missouri, where a Lion was bowtanking me (more by accident since he wanted to ram me). So i wanted to shoot HE at him, because he didnt have that much health left. Also a Tashkent was around. Before i could shoot, the Tashkent rushed me at 4km behind Island. I got all my turrets in on him 6 Hits - 3600 damage, torpedo tubes destroyed, Engine down, Main turret destroyed, + some other AA stuff gone.... so with AP i would have dealt 6+k damage, he would have been dead, because he had like 7-8k health and my secondaries did also 3,5k damage.... The Lion did ram me then, which ofc benefit our team, since they only had 1 ship left then^^ But that aside - even shooting close full broadside DDs with HE is worse than shooting AP, and imo thats wrong. U should get rewarded for choosing correct ammo, and that is HE vs lightly armored ships, yet u get punished for it by dealing LESS damage than AP overpens would have done, because every module u hit eats the damage.... -
Ofc its always what u get with those shells that hit. I mean 52 hits for 80k is ok id say, but could be far better.

When WG is showing tips like that one, they cant help anyone... neither can a person be helped who would benefit from that kinda tip... -
Sadly, with the current missions, u can not play and have fun. So if u dont want to compete in the campaign, id advise not to play at all. And i dont think this can be in WGs interest? Its frustrating at best, when u have 3 DDs who refuse to spot for your team and go all the way around the map to torp some BBs AND still manage to get themselves killed like pigs going to slaughterhouse... And then u realize the 3 enemy DDs are playing absolute best to win the game for them - u cant do it. U are permaspotted, everyone can pound u from behind islands with little retaliation and u cant do the moves u would need to because torps. That is not fun! If i lose a game and i feel my team did his best to prevent it - so be it. But playing the exact opposite of what your class is supposed to do... just wrong. I assume u are talking about Domination? Nope, this happens in Standard battle also. And those matches are even worse than the same in Domination!

I think everyone who plays BBs knows those strange shells which hit the citadel when the target is evading / your aim was off. If the Dispersion would be better, u would miss in those moments, but hit when u anticipate the evasive maneuvre corretly. Also a straightlining target moving away from u would be more punishable, currently they can just hope that RNG wouldnt hit them and continue in one line. Sometimes those ppl evading get punished more than those who choose not to wiggle.

Id like to add to that NY/Fuso part: Yes, horrible decision to go nose in to that NY. Also your aim should have been better against a stationary full broadside target - try to hit the citadel. But if u see an afk (BB) ship, try to set him on fire atleast once. Even when u are a BB, but especially when u are a BB with few guns and u dont try to hit his citadel. That fire will tick all the time, if u are even lucky u might get 2 fires. And the HE alpha damage wouldnt be much lower than Pen + Overpen AP damage that u got for not aiming too well. Either u should have made the turn earlier, or not at all (if u wanted to go for torps) Nose in against Fuso u could have used all guns against NY = he dies faster. AFter u kill the NY u angle against Pepsicola, and leaving your broadside to Fuso again. Not a good move. Best thing would ofc be to wiggle between them, but certainly not showing broadside to a Fuso.

Id like to add that every naval combat in history of mankind consisted of 5 BBs and only ~6-7 Cruisers and DDs -
I dont think i ever saw someone claiming something like that Its wrong that a BB can blap a Cruiser at any longrange when RNG says yes, or atleast eating several citadels while being angled/evading. As wrong as dealing 10+k damage or devastating DDs at midrange. Basicly the problem is in the gamemechanics itself. The closer u get, the harder it is to blap something when it shows broadside. Ive even said before, that a BB scoring couple of k damage (aka only overpens) at close ranges to a Cruiser broadside is ridiculous... Aswell as, when a DD is so stupid to get himself detected by a BB, he SHOULD be able to seriously punish him (hightiers that is). But suddenly when they angle (CA/DD) they eat massive damage because angle and/or overmatch mechanics...

That hightiers isnt for u? This isnt meant as an insult or anything, but unfurtunately ive come to the conclusion after seeing how ppl perform between tiers. Some ppl peak at T4/T5 where they wont get punished for a mistake they do. Others at T7 which usually has better MM than other tiers. And then theres one group who can utilize the powercreep (id consider myself in that group) as in T3/5/8 has worse WRs than T4/6/9/10 because they have better MM than the others. Less players in a match? Its far easier to follow 7 enemies around than 12. Usually u have several players in ranked who are constantly spotted so u know where they are. If someone is getting the cap furthest away from u, u know thats a DD there, so one less ship to worry about for that moment. In random a DD can flank around, players are further apart so a CV might focus u, and all ships have the same tier. If u play certain tiers (as mentioned in the passage above) its harder to carry your team. Playing T5 and getting more often T7 MM is hard to carry your team when your T7 ships are garbage. Same goes for T10, where are a lot of simply bad players around. The competent players are far more capable of doing good because the T10 ships are superior than T8/9 - but u need to be able to utilize that power. When u are Bismarck in T6-8 MM that means YOU have to make the play and do more than the rest of your team.

I aint! I usually have no prolems with fires in my BBs. (or very rarely) Usually im in a situation then when i die anyway. U gotta keep cool when u are burning () then its ok. F.e. yesterday with my Nelson i didnt even DCP 2 fires because Zombie heal. Let the Cleveland have some fun till i get him Battleships are camping because they CAN. Imo thats the reason. They see they can shoot, so they wont get closer...

And then we get missions like right now, and having a chance of 100% more idiotic DDs on your team Dumbing down Cruisers doesnt seem to work (since those too dumb are already plaing BBaby )
