Gimme those haxx, since Battle of the North cape could only be finished after the 8th of January, because the stages were unlocked one at a time... Nope, u needed 6 points for the finale stage. But in general 2x75k XP should have been enough, killing 2x10 BBs in that time should have been possible aswell, thats how i did it. Both missions 2 times = 6 Stars. Maybe he confused it with New Years Raid campaign, which was possible to complete entirely in Coop. Still questionable farming XP/Commander XP/Credits in Coop, since the rewards are so little. Killing a certain ship and winning however was rather easy in coop. Alltho the Coop players did they utmost to prevent u from doing it.

Yep pretty much the same feeling i have/had... I even managed to get DoY and make it to Icy Scharnhorst Camo (even tho i dont own her xD). But back to the missions: Yes, horrible. There is nothing else to say. Why not promote teamplay/role of the class u choose? Instead make totaly stupid missions which makes u play to the worst of what your class should do. F.e. the deal 150k damage to BBs/DDs. WHY would u need to do them in the SAME class? Deal 90k torp damage: Clearly promoting DDs to play for the objectives - NOT. Border hugging, Yoloing, Selfish play. I can understand that WG doesnt want to make it too easy to achieve Premium ships / certain rewards in general, but there are better options. Tanking for BBs - receive x Potential damage (this could even scale by tier probably!) Or receive a certain amount of Fire damage as a BB. Arguably they do exist in form of "Receive one Fireproof / Dreadnought" achievement, but imo the other way is still better. For DDs obviously is getting caps - but then again, when u are unlucky and get dragged into Standard battle all the time this is BS. I thought about rewarding a standard battle base cap higher (f.e. 3 times) than a domination cap, but then we get the same problem about stupid DDs, going to the border sneaking behind the lines trying to cap the base - stupid. I think a nice mission for Cruiser might also be: Deal x damage with AP Shells (can this be introduced maybe?) Why must it always be: Deal x Fire damage playing Cruiser... There are many way to get better missions than those, and not even hard to think of it.

The best thing is, the time i was pissed about Mong-error concealment are almost over... The last battles ive seen them, they play like uber-braindead potatoes. Either they use the lines on the minimap like traffic-lanes, or they just hug the border - IN THE SPAWN! Srsly, numerous conqs ive seen lately sail in straight lines f.e. H5 -> H10 then turn around back to H5 and so forth. Other option is sail backwards without any pressure to J line. Obviously those ships are so lame when u play them, that most decent or better players stopped playing them (even Flamu said that playing RN BBs makes him stupid - i thought he wouldnt realize it tbh), so we are left with the utter garbage ppl playing them. Well done WG Now they make same French BBs, who get speedboost to get to the coward positions more quickly -
Ye ive read about that aswell, and i think its just written poorly or plain wrong. AFAIK 152mm can pen 25mm armor, but nothing above.

First time i was argueing like that (when i realized it existed) i was told it doesnt make any difference, and after calling it a cheat, some ppl had the guts to tell me to stfu If it doesnt make any difference, why the hell would u use it... I can clearly see the advantage. Had a Hindenburg game in cyclone once with GK/Conq following me. But i only had like 500 HP left so i couldnt get myself detected. I desperately tried to shoot them 10km behind me.. no dice tho. With the x on the minimpp would have been easier possibly. -

I wonder about the options in cyclone Only option is: Smoke when spotted, hope that he doesn blap u. throw torps, hope u kill him. And hope he doesnt have hydro. -
If u want 200mm plating for that part, maybe we need to give 20mm plating to the roof armor on the turrets like in the picture u showed? That would be number 4 - good luck when every BB can overmatch that part Look at how easy Cruiser guns break. Or go bow tanking with any bb vs any non Yamato/Musashi BB and shoot the frontal armor of the turret. U can easily knock out US/RN Turrets aiming at them. Not sure about GErman Turrets, i dont usually brawl with them Even got my front turret destoyed once by a NC when i played ROon with 1! SAlvo. Today hit Minotaur with missouri -> Destroyed his turret. Yamato shot me twice angled Missouri -> 2 times turret disabled. Happens all the time to any ship, and i think its ok like that. If its not happen all the time when playing Roma (i havent shot that many salvos at them so far) i think its ok. And i mean that u lose a turret permanently like every game or so.

Well, if u take the Cruiser line with arcs like that as an example.. But still imo very unlikely. Even if, is it really that game breaking? Sounds like whining on high level... Well, u can go there with Neptune/Minotaur and intentionally disbale Roma turrets, at probably roughly 14km range id say, maybe a bit less works too. With shell flight time 10+ secs i wanna see u hit that spot on purpose, aka disable/break his guns at will.. Totaly impossible.

With multiple TB squads on hightiers, u cant always dodge torpedoes. So by making planes stronger, it would be much easier to get the Cruiser into a position that u can drop him easily. No need to Drop all on one side, make a crossdrop and bam. Unavoidable. Cruisers are shafted too much by torpedo damage as it is right now. BBs are usually laughing at them, especially plane dropped torps. Midway planes got not even 10k torpdamage, with 78% protection one torpedo would deal like 2200 in that example... CVs have far easier time achieving DoT damage than f.e. DDs. Imo the whole flooding mechanic needs a rework rather than something like this.

Ye i agree with that one. Wouldnt even be sure at what range it would be possible to penetrate that part, other than it will autobounce. And hitting that place... good luck? Apparently the side armor from the turret is week also, so id say thats why your guns get disabled easier.

Imo the game is too complex as it is already, so i wouldnt see it as a good change. Average player doesnt even seem to know which ships have Radar (even some ppl playing Radar ships dont know what it is ) Would be way too complicated for them. About that Hydro stuff well thats potentionally a good change, which would mean that faster torps are spotted earlier, but slower ones later. So basicly u would have the same reaction time. Not sure how much difference there is on higher tier torps. But maybe a downside would be the Torpedo acceleration skll which i think is a questionable skill already, but it would get nerfed with a change like that... kinda. Questionable is Hydro vs ships: Could u afford to slow down when detected by hydro, just to get undetected for a moment?

My back hurts First match had to kite away since once we had point lead, our team had to die needlesly, as always. 2nd Match same as first... we got more caps, our team dies. And as always potato BBs sailing at the map border, dieing like flies when they finaly meet an enemy. Couple of matches later.... Zao survived with 102 HP Between that another 173k Missouri game which couldnt be carried Team played far too cowardly and our CV never protected our team from any strike from the enemy CV... -
When u give your team the advantage, they seem to throw it away more often. Must be total delusional self-reflection, that they feel being so awesome, because obviously they did good.. They cant seem to understand that they did crap. Reminded me of a game yesterday with Missouri on Trap. As usual everyone was going A, and noone wanted to go B. Spawning between A/B, i had to go A too. Went in, radared a Shima, our team managed to kill it. On my turn out, i blapped an Edinburgh, our team (GK, Moskva, Kagero + another BB) managed to kill the Baltimore camping at the rock. Then they kept pushing against fleeing Montana, Missouri, Hindenburg and NC... i turned away since there was no sense in pushing into the enemy spawn. Needless to say they all died while basicly causing no damage to the enemy team. In the meantime, our Montana + Kii who spawned at C managed to get almost to A too, dieing to the same group of ships down there Lucky we did win, since we basicly hold more caps most of the time.

Should have seen the Shima in my game today using those torps... First, he kills our Loyang. Then he torps me in my Neptune, when i rushed a Mogami (torps left side -> Kill) and a FDG (torps right side -> kill) BOTH behind island and our shima is like " YES im gonna torp my Neptune" after i killed those 2, i had to show broadside to a GK since i couldnt turn in because of the torps. I ate one anyway thinking it kills me, and he gets atleast player killer...nope i got 6600 damage, GK kills me for last 9k. Best part comes: after it was looking pretty bad in that period, that Shima hit a NC at MAX TORPRANGE! (torps ran out behind him) and the NC was so kind to break prefectly to hit it. 2 salvos he threw infront of the NC, killed an Ibuki as i recall... Like wtf?

That just made my day Couldnt hit the "funny" reaction for the post 3 times because i was ROFLing But ye, truth is, games are so [edited]boring these days... I remember playing Anno 1602 back in the old days. Then i go 1503 but skipped 1701, at some point after 1404 had been out for some time i thought, lets buy it. I liked it a lot, was complex and not too easy against harder opponents... Then i bought 2070... man that game sucked [edited]. I would have needed to FORCE myself to play it, since it basicly is. DO this "WELL DONE U ARE AWESOME" Now build this "CONGRATULATIONS U ARE UBERPWNAGE".. like for real? Played like 5h total maybe, started 3 times over a span of couple of years but its still the same crap, which i wont like playing. I rather play 20 year old games which have shitty graphic but are fun to play even for the 10th time because the game is great AND challenging. -
Man they really screw me over here... Wasnt rushing the New Years campaign because we got 2 extra days. So i wanted to play today, before i had to go to work. First they screw up the servers, then the chat server is screwed, so we couldnt play division together. Got 3 matches before going to work. Now i come back from work, chat server is down again -> once again no Division, guess i wont try to play anymore then today Now i have to play more tomorrow, because i need still some missions done, and i get a day of premium, but i have to go to work again in the evening. So much for the extra 2 days for the campaign if u dont want to play solo so that u are at the mercy of random potato-sacks

Just to make a statement: Yes i hate the new division window too. Its big, its all the time in my way... i tried putting it in the top left corner (where it was before), but try putting on Flags/Camo Then i thought, ok ill leave it down in the tab where it opens basicly... choosing a ship is annoying then

For ships with longer reload u can use the reload time as an indicator. Works ofc best for BBs... But some slowloading CAs are ok for that too. DDs (usually) and daka-daka ships shoot ofc way too fast.

We would have to take your word on that, that the 9 hits are actually pens, and not shatter/Bounces, i guess overpens are out of the question. Not sure what u hit, but u can hit main battery guns/barbettes and not disable the turret, still yielding u 0 damage. -
As i said, a difference in 1 radar is no bigdeal, since that Radarship cant be everywhere. When one team has 3 Radars and the other has none it suddenly is a big deal, because on any cap/flank where a radar ship is, the DD has much more freedom right from the start. How is this so hard to understand? U are just ignoring my point about Torpboat/Gunboat DDs because they dont fit yout agenda. Doesnt make them less relevant. Ive seen many threads/ppl in game being pissed when their team has only RU DDs while the other has IJN/US DDs. They cant even understand games with CV or without CV. But when there i no Radar around anymore, there will be ppl taking advantage of it. I dont know what RLs are supposed to be? CVs arent in every match - this worked maybe early in the game when CVs where a think. CVs got nerfed -> DDs roamed free (ill trust ppl on this one who actually were around then @El2aZeR (sry for mention, but i think u can vouch for that)). Too many DDs? Nerf DD/introduce Radar = makes perfect sense. Other DDs can only counter DDs when they are in equal roles. That was my arguement about RU vs IJN/US/KM DDs... Its not the same thing! Radar does impact flanking... If u suddenly spot a Radar ship while flanking there is a chance u get screwed. And when its a ship with lower radar range than detection range it still makes it harder to do something on that flank. Without Radar u can do whatever u want. And ofc Radar does effect capping, but its possible to work against it. How come that DDs are not usually the campers? Its BBs who are camping all the time, and someone mentioned a nerf to BBs in Alpha testing in another thread. A point he thinks BBs started to camp in the back, and after i read his whole story, it does make sense. Ofc happened way before Radar was introduced. I play aggressive with or without Radars around. I just take more caution when there are radar ships. If u are behind an island, usually u are safe from it. Since BBs are the ones camping, and not DDs, i dont think it really is like that. Alltho, i havent played before Radar was around. Gameplay in hightiers is campier because every mistake will get punished harder than on lower tiers. And ppl still believe that "repair costs" are tied to how much damage you received Today a Conqueror on atlantic basicly went back to J5... clearly he is effected by Radar You are the one making stuff up.

I never understood why many ppl seem to hate epicenter on this map... Standard battle is 100x times worse, basicly noone is moving anywhere. The question is only: Which team is willing to support his DDs more? Which is basicly followed by: Are the DDs willing to take the Center? We had a Shima just 2 days ago who said, he wont cap center because of all the Radar -> 2 Missouri and one DM. Missouris were left flank, while DM actually tried to support the center, but our team made him retreat and kill him. But our Shima still did managed to get himselfkilled by plain overextending and pushing beyond any help we could provide. Still we won, cause we got the initial DD kill. 2 RU DDs never could recover from that - and they played badly to begin with. -

And why shouldnt it effect it? I mean personaly i think it should have an effect on it, because Repair party is based on maximum health. SE increases maximum health, thus it should effect the repair party consumable imo.
