Would make HE spamming totaly OP. It would require a substantial rework of many gamemechanics/ships. Then id rather slap a heal on all ships to get it done with...

In the end its the same thing when u give all T8 Cruisers a Heal. T7 and T6 will get shafted by that. U said it yourself. All in all id rather give every Cruiser a heal, than give it to T8s only where the same problem will arise as we have with T8vsT10 currently.

Ye, then the team which plays better together is more likely to win. I dont see it as a bad thing... The problem with this is again, that when everyone else is stronger against BBs, it means that they are stronger against everything else too. Buff Torps for DDs? Will hurt DDs and CAs also Buff Cruisers? Will hurt Cruisers and DDs aswell... Probably buffing Torps for DDs would hurt DDs/CAs more than it would hurt BBs. (Here we go again) with PA-DDs. With other Torps, u can evade most of them when u play a Cruiser even when u dont run hydro. If however the DWTs hit u unexpectedly, u cant evade them anymore. And hitting something else than the intended target is not very unlikely. But at the same time, those Torps are useless against other DDs. As for making Cruisers stronger against BBs, i dont even know how to do it basicly. Germans could get Better AP Penetration, since its worse than other nations alltho they depend on it more. That WOULD most likely make them stronger against BBs, without making them stronger against other Cruisers, because the penetration is good enough against them anyway. But for other lines? not sure...

What would be bad if all Cruisers just get a Heal? I mean lower tiers too. Would be no problem to give lower tiers a low value heal to not make them too strong. Alltho Friant and Duguay are pretty OP already imo. But maybe all lowtier Cruisers could get 1 charge which heals a flat 1k or so, irrelevant of what kinda damage it took. Pop heal = get 1k health back. Why does it need to be always % based and even based on what damage u took.

I dont wanna sound insulting or anything, but isnt that kinda delusional that u see yourself as the Ronaldo of CVs in WoWs? Basicly u said the reason yourself why u cant have the WR u wish for. There are still 23 other ppl in the match. Why should they have no influence on the game despite u having either none or a lot (according to your own words)? In both your examples your games played arent that many. In Kaga even less, so it most likely could change a bit until u get to 100 games. Kongo has 57 which already says something, but it also depends when u played that ship. If its a long time ago, i can imagine your WR will drop nowadays because of all the new ships introduced. F.e. look at my ships ARP Hiei, Fuso and Nagato. I got bad WRs in all of them. Also i dont have many games played. But - Hiei avg Damage Top ~6%, ship kills Top ~50% - Fuso avg damage Top ~8%, Ship kills Top 5+% - Nagato avg damage Top 5+%, Ship kills below top 50% Should i demand a higher WR? I cant... On the other hand, if i continue with the same effort, my WR would most likely go up over the next ~50 battles in all of them. Still, with the amount of battles played its highly likely to either have a Bad WR or a very good WR. Your own skill will only show over a larger amount of battles played, since u need enough games to make a different. Some games u just cant win and sometimes u will get losing streaks. Get some of those with low number of battles, u get a bad WR. -

Maybe ppl should be able to rank up getting First in the XP table reaching a certain amount of XP? (not sure about the latter tho...) Yes, at some point bad players would be able to Rank up too, but it would probably take more time to do it if they play like crap? This came to mind quickly, havent thought it really through yet, but maybe this whole star thing could be removed then? Or keep the Stars but make every Rank irrevocable. F.e. u need 4 Stars to get to next rank. With a victory, u can achieve a Star until u have to get to next rank where u will need to be first in the XP table. -
We should ask ourselves: Why is teamplay in a teamgame unbalanced? I agree that Divisions have a HUGE impact on the game (being negative or positive) who can exploit that. Thats why Randoms should be Random, not Divisons, which would make the need for another gametype, but thats another story. If i can help my Team with my consumable, why is it bad or unbalanced? I play with 11 other ppl anyway. If i want to play for myself, maybe i should play Coop or another game? Imo the fact that many ships are able to do things on their own, is a bad thing. We get BBs with better concealment than Cruisers, Cruisers with Smoke, DDs with Hydro/DefAA, BBs/DDs with Radar... list goes on. Only thing it does, it removes teamplay. Ofc certain ships with special consumables are hard to "balance" the more different nations/lines of ships there are. F.e. Hydro DDs. If there isnt another one in the queue, than one team gets one and the other doesnt. Gets amplified with every new Line released. If there was only IJN/US to choose from in the beginning, then it was likely to have both of them in each team. Now we have IJN/US/German/Russian/French/RN trees, which makes it less likely to be able to match them against each other. Basicly why i dislike PA-DDs. First they change smoke spotting mechanics, then they release Line with Perma-smoke capability. I mean cmon? How selfish do u want that ppl are playing? Maybe we could live with less Island when - BBs could punish BBs better - Cruisers get less punished by BBs. Then cruisers can and have to fight in the open, but also its more viable to shoot at enemy BBs, since u can punish them, and dont deal like 5% of their health in damage with shatters and bounces on top, or u miss totaly... Sometimes u see those games where certain ships can bowtank half of the match without the fear of dieing. For me thats bad. It shouldnt be about who can sit still the longest, rather than move around and evade actively.

Yes I agree that the game would benefit from +/-1 MM. But i dont think WG wants to introduce it, because when there are tiers which are hard to grind through (5+8, 6+9 only a little bit), then they profit from that.

Well, try to motivate your team? Not long ago we had 2 OMNIs in the enemy team (Montana + Gearing as i recall), while we were playing Moskva/Hindenburg. Our team went instantly "OK this is lost" and we told them its not, OMNI loses games aswell, and lets play as a team. Guess what? We won... I even watched the stream afterwards (since i knew they were most likely streaming) and they made fun of us how they gonna "kill the lemming train"... A match is never lost from the start, even when the odds seem bad at first. If the enemy team has more Hydro/Radar try to say them, hey they might be Noobs, just stick together and we can do it. A Radar/Hydro doesnt kill u, only the players behind it. And they also doesnt make them invulnerable. Try to attack at the point which is MORE favorable for your team. ANother example: We had 1 DD on Islands of Ice, and after assessing the setup, we made our team go A, because our Division thought its the best option. And it worked. Youtubers, Streams makes u think that certain Caps are bad, and they are right to a certain point. But every match is different, and u gotta work with what YOUR team has. Dont work against what the enemy would do.

Ok there are options: As i said DONT take B! B is the cap with the advantage for the Loyang, but if u have to go B i think there are options what i would do: https://www.pic-upload.de/view-34737720/trident.jpg.html Wait till the Enemy enter the Cap first, so u KNOW if something is coming. if he isnt capping, noone is gaining/losing anything. That means: Go wide, with a Chapa, Stay away from the center island also. If u know he is in the cap, approach at flat angle (red line, keep spotting distance OUTSIDE of the boundaries of the cap) because u will spot him too, and u dont get trapped in his hydro because u can immediately turn out. Maybe he smokes/pops his Hydro. If he does that, u can send torps his way. That will make him leave his smoke! At that point u are able to outspot him beyond his Hydro range. If he WOULDNT go to the cap, i would most likely go wide and possible reverse from behind the Island. If something hydros u, accelerate and go back behind the Island (green line)

Its hard to give a general rule against Radar Cruisers/Hydro DDs. Ranked is ofc far worse than Randoms because of map design and importance of caps. In Randoms u can always go for another cap or wait till the Radar Cruiser is spotted so u know where he is. In Ranked u gotta go with the place where he PROBABLY will be - with Trident its quite obivous, because he is shielded by the island but is able to radar both Caps. With a Chapa in the game i would most likely go for A cap, since the Islands work in your Favor, while B is only open space for u when u spawn south.

No, not the same. One lasts 20 secs the other 1,5 mins (or more with Hydro modification module) Also its hard to say if the Chapa could have LoS from his position towards your position. He must have at some point. Hydro DDs are much more "I-Win" than Radar Cruisers (not sure about DM tho, because long duration Radar with insane Reload). But then, DM doesnt have smoke like Loyang

Basicly its possible to have 4 puffs now compared to 1-2 earlier. And they are spread further apart now ofc since u can pop it at a higher speed.

Eh just before i say anything else: Is that Cruiser a Chapa at the island? I think its his Radar then, because the Hydro range is too far (5,43km on Lo yang)

Since they increased the action time of smoke screen, its fairly big. Basicly made the Smoke screen expert cptn skill obsolete for RN CLs. Just smoke when u are slowing down from full speed and u get a pretty big cloud actually.

If they are close to an island, they should be pretty safe in the first place The main arguement was "Radar Cruisers are camping behind an Island, and can radar a cap without fear" So in return if i cant radar from behind an island and have to get out i will be spotted. once again, who benefits most from that? I meant myself in the Missouri, losing half Health was worst case so far if i remeber correctly. If the DD doesnt have proper backup, ill take the risk. In a Cruiser, and thats why i was saying all the time the smoke spotting change was a nerf to all Cruisers basicly. (All Hydro cruisers atleast) U shouldnt be able to spot from inside your smoke, thats just wrong. Actually because of the spotting mechanics now, its not that favorable for the Cruiser anymore. Earlier keeping the smoke between the enemies and yourself, u could stay undetected while rushing the DD. Now its impossible, and ANY BB can punish u. Yes, because those Hydro DDs got smoke and can conceal themself if necessary, but with lower smoke spotting they might not even get spotted. A Cruiser will ALWAYS be spotted because Hydro range is lower than smoke firing concealment. But as i mentioned - didnt do it in a DD. And Cruisers are punished/nerfed all the time, and the smoke spotting change did infact him them the worst (who is wondering about that?)

Not sure where the right place for this is, but i just go with the place with the most attention. Why did u introduce those smilies to react to post? I can understan positive feedback, such as Cool (alltho what does cool mean?) and Funny. And then we have 3 Negative smilies. All this does it creates hostility in the Forums, without any need. Ppl running deliberately after your posts, voting Boring/Bad because they disagree with you as a person. Its one thing to argue about it, but now we have "karma" system in the forums, where u actually see who is targeting your posts. I mean fine, obviously sometimes ppl piss each other off, but giving the possibility to vote posts will only make things worse in the long run. It should be judged what u say, not what the other one thinks of u because u said something he doesnt like once, thats why we dont need any Bad smilies for Posts! Helpful-smiley would be much better, and yet it doesnt exist. Cool and Funny can stay as far as im concearned. @MrConway @Tuccy Any insight why it was implemented like this? Any possibility to revert or change the current ones?

Problem is, when they actually do get T6-T7 MM, suddenly they are OP against them. Basicly the same as T8 vs T10 currently. It does happen, even when individually it doesnt happen that often. Basicly T8 Ships would need a Heal when they are in T10 MM, but i dont think WG would/can implement that. Maybe Cruisers should just get a Heal from the get go. Even if it would be only 1... Lowtiers can ofc get "tweaked" heal, which doesnt do that much.

Thats debateable. I think the best counterplay against planes (CVs) is to play better. AA will only take u so far and will stll get u killed when u play like a moron. Best thing against CVs is stick together, and evade the Torpedo drops. Both i have to do myself, and when the first works basicly all the time, the 2nd usually does in 95% or so. Only vs very good CV player who will drop u perfecty despite turning. I can pump my AA which is questionable for certain ships and will not save me from getting deleted. Same goes for Radar basicly? Play better than the Enemy. Also the personal reward is pretty low i guess (since u didnt do any damage) but ofc its a team reward since your chances of winning are better. Isnt stealth torping a No risk High reward thing also

So i mean, what are the options that have been brought up? - Radar blocked by Islands: Only thing it does is removing teamwork. Ive helped a DD of my team a lot when i was Missouri behind Island with Iowa rushing our Mahan. So i popped Radar, Mahan torped the Iowa = dead. I wasnt intentionally sitting at that island, it just happened the way it did. Also I didnt think the Iowa would rush a DD. If i Radar a DD when im behind an island i also have to count on my Team to do something - which sadly doesnt work all the time... - Getting detected yourself when Radaring: Probably doesnt change that much. Either u are detected (thus the reason u use Radar) or u are sitting in cover which again doesnt change really much when the enemy know where u are. Might only help the DD to pinpoint the range of the Radar. Also id need to be able to cancel the Radar if i have to. Were there any other? Radar doesnt mean Auto-win or Auto-kill. Ive taken numerous times Risk in my Missouri when rushing a Cap early on to Radar a DD. Worst case losing half my Health or so. High risk High reward basicly, which is fine then? Also gotta consider that f.e. a Missouri can only shoot maximum 2 times within his own Radar. Usually i shoot only once, because gotta turn turrets a bit. If the DD is making a misplay by angling, then he gives me the possibility to severely punish him. If he stays Broadside, he might get 3-5k damage. RU Radar lasts as long as 3 shots i think. Depending what else is shooting u, u should be able to survive that. Bigger problem is US Radar because duration. And then u get something like DM with that Reload with far better chances of killing u than the others. Havent played those, and havent played with them, so i dont know if they are so much worse than RU Cruisers. About Hydro: I actually like rushing DDs in smoke with Hydro. So should i get punished because the DD is making a bad play?

T8 Cruiser are just in a bad place because they get uptiered frequently, ontop of them being pretty mediocre in the first place. But since the powercreep is so bad, i can understand why many ppl wouldnt want to push through to it. The best thing they can do is sit back and spam HE... Also a reason why the Hipper is pretty bad. HE is not strong, and using AP is highly situational. Roon and Hindenburg (even more) can engange 1v1 BBs because of the amount of guns and far better reload than Hipper. Havent played NO myself, but ive heard bad things Edinburgh is mostly a Fiji with terrible MM. Mogami with 155 probably the best of the T8s. Chapa has longrange but weak HE, and when u wanna use Radar u gotta get closer, but at the same time its pretty squishy. CM... Longrange HE spam? Also tends to get citadelled fairly easy imo.

Gotta take into consideration that AR also makes Torpedo reload faster. Situational yes, but can save your butt at times Also getting an extra salvo on a broadside target can also make a difference. For Torpedo DDs i can understand that u might wanna skip AR, since u want to keep your health. Atleast how i see it. Alltho when u do lose health, it would again help u. So maybe depends on playstyle.

So basicly Coop? Ive seen many ppl who should just play that. idk why they WANT to play against Humans when they are in fact not playing at all... But i know the problem: Because they think they are awesome, and every time they lose its because the others do something stupid. Looking some streams on Twitch with low view numbers can be enlightening Must be the same reason they play ranked. Even tho they dont actually play for the win (Ranked is ALL about winning), they still play it. Why oh Why...? -
In the end u think relieving DDs with nerfing Radar/Hydro would be favorable, but it will only Buff BBs... And we dont need that. Depends id say. Russian Radar is very short duration. So lets say that Radar ship is ~10km away from the DD, so most likely 16+km away from a BB. Shell flight time is almost 10 sec even for BBs at that range, which is potentially already half the Radar duration. Now if the BB needs to turn his turrets, it will take some seconds aswell. If he shot before, he might be reloading. He will most likely shoot at that target, but the Radar Cruiser is shooting also all the time + maybe his teammates. So in the end u will be equally damaged in your DD with the only downside that the Cruiser is possible dead anyway. Sure, Cruisers are shooting Radar Cruisers too, but its hardly devastating at those ranges. Only BBs can pull that off with one salvo. HE is bad, but u can sustain that for some time, Cruiser AP is easy to bounce, while BB AP isnt. So its still the point: Who benefits the most? BBs. Everytime a target (aka Cruiser) is surpise spotted, a BB is the first/best choice to punish that target. Even when a DD is suddenly spotted, BB AP can be (is) devastating at midranges. Example screenshot: Edinburgh was spotted for 4 secs, could he be punished by me playing Cruisers?
