    Isnt that basicly most ships these days? Well, Thunderer is really the only exception, because even really bad players will vastly outperform (damage) their other ships... I mean, best example are CV players: If they would be more competent, wows would be unplayable by now. Many Smolensk players are crap, thats why they stopped playing Smolensk, because it wasnt the golden potato ship they hoped it to be (basicly same as Stalingrad when average players get their hands on it). Luckily, WG made Thunderer, thats the winning horse Because someone saw some Unicum streamer melt a BB from full HP to 0 because (in their defense) they dont know what Austin is or what it can do so they just show full broadside, dakka cruisers are magically OP... Ofc every single one of them, not the retarded gimmick Austin which can fart 500 shells in 30 secs or whatever. I guess they though they would kill me in time? They sat in smoke when i rushed ahead, first one could get away after his smoke faded so he got smacked for most of his HP (as you can see, the other is almost dead). The 2nd is still in smoke, fucked his smoke firing penalty (i think?), and i could shoot him. Why is it, when Cruisers are considered, everyone is a superunicum Cruiser player, that always do the right thing, but when BBs are considered, they are always BBabies? I swear, this BBaby whining is getting on my nerves. For YEARS WG has cuddled BBs more and more, and did they stop whining? Hell no, they whine MORE AND MORE every single time. They are the like that spoiled teenage brat who get everything, and when they get a new car, they roll over and die because it has the wrong colour Im just showing them the response these whiny brats deserve...

    Well TBH, the advantage of Plymouth carrying both Radar and Smoke is offset by other stuff: - No superheal - Turret angles are absolutely atrocious, essentially its free citadel parade when you use all your guns. I thought i could use all my guns on a Hipper while kiting... nah, even he citadelled me - Feels rather sluggish compared to Mino. - Mino can stealthradar, Plymouth cant - Half the torps. 10km radar is so much more powerful. Sure, playing Radar Mino is not easy, but i think if someone can do it, then its not an inferior ship compared to Plymouth. Also Radar Mino is a decent torpedo boat thanks to 8 torps per side, while Plymouth only has 4, which is... not enough against BBs. I guess Plymouth might be stronger, if BBs wouldnt just camp in spawn, and every CV can just spot you for free because the AA is such garbage. Its good at shredding DDs tho... Also, you cant whale Plymouth Why WG likes T8 ships to have stealthradar is something ill never understand...

    And yet you have no idea in the balancing between ships. You think BBs are weak, and dakka-Cruisers are OP because their reload is so fast! Maybe play those ships before commenting on stuff you have no idea about. Only because in WoT it is like that, doesnt mean its the same way in WoWs...

    Imagine BBs being so cuddled, that they have no intention to learn anything which would prevent them to "melt" by a Cruiser... yeah, lets cuddle them even more. OMG i pushed into 2 Smolensk' while a CV was spotting me, AND THEY BOTH DIED! Man these ships are so OP, BBs just melt in 10 secs, NUTTIN YA CAN DO MAN! Poor BBs, need buffz
  7. Same here... i have 3x T8 permacamos floating around, and i dont know where to put them. Half of my T8 ships already have permacamos, which limits the possibilities even further. I guess ill put one on Akizuki, but as long as im grinding, i dont really need it there yet. And then i still have 2

    7,5 sec reload - which is a bit off from what DM has currently in the game, but not that much. So your point is actually none. Oh btw, how about planes magically regenerating out of thin air after they have been shot down? Or planes getting repaired when they land on the CV? Didnt know that was a thing. Or CVs not burning or detonating, while carrying TONS of highly flammable plane-fuel - that makes sense aswell?

    Sounds like Kremlin, yes. Ive had the same experience in the few games ive played it. Sometimes you get huge salvos all game long, bow on ships, citadels on GKs. And other games you shoot broadside Cruisers at 10km and you get only overpens or 1 citadel at most... Against bow-on Petro, you know where you have to aim: Upper bow. Otherwise you will have a bad time against it.

    Yeah, im really sad what happened with OPs. Not only did WG butcher them, but the downfall or player skill is so obvious while playing OPs. Back in the days, i used to play solo and could carry the team to 5 Stars, because they atleast made an attempt to do the objectives... last time i played Aegis solo, we lost without even killing the 2nd wave, because half the team was dead, the other half turned around and ran away Even Newport was doable solo - wasnt easy, but possible. These days? wtf, even 2 guys can struggle to get 5 stars while the others do jack crap. So why OPs are really not interesting to me anymore - playerbase deterioated to a point, where playing solo OPs is a gamble and thus not fun. I assume this happened to many people, or they just outright quit the game due to what WG did the past 2+ years. - WG butchered the rewards to basicly 0, so why should i play them? 15-17 minutes to get 1k base XP like WTF?! I get more XP playing Coop considering the time... - WG removing half the OPs, and we are left with the same old T6 + Narai. I do play Narai when its in cycle atleast a couple of times. Sadly, WG think its good to reduce XP in 4-man divs even lower than playing in 7-man randoms, so they ruined that aswell. Its nice to get a >300k Narai game with 4 guys and you end up with 1200 baseXP or something. Then you play in 7man random Narai with 200k damage and get more XP. Logic? Well [edited]WG, logic left this company in 2017. WG hated people playing OPs and getting 2k-3k BaseXP, and it really shows. I can see them being TRIGGERED from here, when they saw people milking OPs for 20-30k FreeXP and 70k commanderXP - cant have that. I mean, people actually enjoying parts of this game? NOPE. So even if WG would add more OPs, i actually doubt that id play them. With this playerbase and shitty rewards, why bother?

  14. Guess its me . I like a lot of ships which most people dont like, and i dont like some ships which many think are very nice.. I think the trick with Buffalo is really using all its turrets, while with NO,Balti and DM you can get away with just using frontguns. Maybe WG can make an Anchorage style premium 9 Guns with smoke + torps but no radar... could be nice?

    Too many BBs in queue. Faildivs which just [edited]everyone... Well the last screenshot - what MM gonna do about it? Split the division up because hurrdurr? They play 2 Radar Cruisers in one div, if there are no other T8 Radar Cruisers in queue - not MMs fault. Well yes, there is also Kronshtadt, but theoratically Neptune can also be Radar so...

    3rd slot main battery traverse 4th slot damage con, or if you really dont want that then rudder shift is better than acceleration mod. Acceleration mod only helps between -6/+6 kts. So you can do some dodgy dodgy when you are sitting on one spot, but that usually only helps against BB AP, and unless its a Yamato hitting your bow it doesnt matter anyway. I think the footnote is rather weird, it sounds much better than it actually is. Damage con mod helps against fires/flood (but its not necessary if you run BoS + anti-fire flag), so you can go rudder shift, which helps with dodging shells and foremost torps.

    Ships ive played this year Worst of those was definetely Kagero Most were fun except Bourgogne, Stalingrad, Kremlin, Albemarle and Benham. Small sample size ofc, but i think people see "OP/Steel" ships and they just camp harder or run away... then i rather pick some underdog ship.

    Yeah i agree... they discovered the "if i sit here, i wont die easily while i can still shoot something" so why go back to the old way where they would die much faster? Especially thunderers are a lost cause anyway, its not like they moved from spawn even before deadeye.

    IFHE is becoming more and more useless these days thanks to WG giving all BBs 40-50mm+ armor on the midsection, especially on TX. - Germans: IFHE is useless (only works on bow/stern, but hitting superstructure is much easier) - Russians: IFHE is useless (essentially, small spots on the bow and the stern) and except Slava, there it actually would help. - IJN T9-10 BBs 57mm deck. 32mm bow/stern/upper belt, but if you can aim at the upper belt, might aswell try AP, except Hizen, which has 32mm armor everywhere. - US BBs: 38mm midsection - IFHE only works bow/stern, still slightly better than on russians and germans, as the area is bigger. - Italians: only works Bow/Stern, same as americans - French: IFHE works everywhere due to 32mm armor - British: Same as french So... yeah, its basicly useless more often than it helps, because ships like Conq/Thun are notorious backline campers, which you can hardly engage. Even the french BBs will play further back thanks to their squishy armor. And ships that tend to be closer to the frontlines, like russians/germans/italians with their shorter ranges, will shatter IFHE HE shells anyway. Except now you slashed your firechance in half.

    Well there are a lot of screenshots posted from 6 BB games, which also happened during peak hours, so its not due to low activity. There are simply too many BBs in the queue, and i bet my [edited]that WG changed the MM to create 6 BB games instead of 9-10 BB games.

    Balancing CV's as attempted by a drunken hobo!

    Most people dont have an interest in flying planes, when they come to play a naval battle game. They are interested in playing Bismarck, Yamato or whatever, but mostly not fly planes. Sure occasionally they might do it. But in order to get more players to play such a class, it needs to be braindead-easy. WG said so themselves, if the numbers get too low, balancing will be ignored in order to get popularity back up...
