Other players shouldnt be punished because u are unhappy with the game. Either accept it if u want to play, or the only thing we can do is, to try to suggest that WG should change it to +/-1 MM. Im all in for +/-1 MM, but if they dont change that, and i still want to play, then i have to play the way MM is dealing the cards.

It only creates more problems. So often ive had 2 CVs playing at T4, and when the other sucks it gets so much harder for u. Not to mention when they are AFK. And its not balanced when it also happens to the other team - its still crap. On T5+ again, u get those manual attack vs no-Manual attack matches, which are total [edited].

How does introducing new CV fix the bugged UI? How does it let u learn Manual drops at low tier? +/-2 MM, while +/-1 MM would solve a lot of CV problems? CVs without manual attack having to play CVs WITH manual attack? More different CVs wont fix anything... sure, u might not see an OP CV that often, when there are more around, doesnt change the fact that ppl will still play Saipan. -

Instead of putting resources into new CVs, they should rather fix problems with the existing CVs... We need more CV players - not more different CVs. And they need to be teached properly. -
More fun playing the game? If a match is over after 8 mins or less, its not really fun to play. Mostly u dont get a chance to do anything - so why play? That includes losing OR winning! A win after 8 mins with 40k damage is no fun to me. Maybe those roflstomps would end if ppl would play according to the matchup or change their playstyle during the flow of the game.

Not really what the Matchmaking chart says does it? Im never sure when i looked at that tho.. basicly it says, T5 CV can only meat T4-T6 Ships. Fact is, i dont want to play T5 CVs in Random anymore, i got screwed 2 out of 2 times in Bogue after the Manual attack change (both vs T6 CV) and first time i play Zuiho, it [edited] me even harder... Id call it stupid. Because fail divisions actually get rewarded that way. Playing together is get what u deserve nowadays? Interesting logic This. I couldnt agree more. Nope, i want to play through IJN CVs - but i was hesitant to play T5 because i KNOW it ends in a shitshow all the time. Same reason im hesitant to play Ranger... Only because i have close to 4k battles, im not allowed to play through lines normally anymore? And get called sealclubber for it? I even told that guy that my Cptn has 6 points.. hardly can be called sealclubbing, even the enemy Bogue had a 10 pt cptn atleast... If i play Zuiho, why should my division mate NOT take a Texas if he wants to? Could have taken a GC ofc... would a more OP ship be less Sealclubbing because the Sinergy is not as good as Texas+CV? One might even say, we are sealclubbing at T4, because at T5 u get screwed over by this. T6 we play Operations mostly, Ranger im not sure if i want to play because Sealclubbing Saipans...

So i heard Flamu say yesterday, that on PTS the Maptrick (pressing M consecutively to look behind Islands f.e.) doesnt work anymore, since it somehow instantly puts u in the Map view. Is this going to stay? @MrConway@Tuccy ? I think its horrible, once again removing Skill from the game. Island huggers dont need to be safer - if someone knows how to use this, let them have it pls... Would have rather posted in Q&A but somehow doesnt seem to be that active, and i think ppl should know this.

Actually T5 CVs do have protected MM, as they cant see T7 ships in general i believe?

If so, shouldnt it happen more often then? like all the time... yet, everyone was equally baffled as i said. I think first time i ever saw that. Oh i spot the mistake - the enemy CV was also in a Division, THEN it makes more sense i guess. Since he cant throw him under the bus otherwise.

Kinda what i said. With the exception, that i think its debateable if it can be considered a cheat or not - it fulfills the criteria of a cheat tool, but is allowed by the developers without being available inside the game.

Official Modpack.... so WG already is allowing it to be used. I think it effects everyone more or less, depending on what ships u play.

If the target isnt spotted, then clicking M doesnt benefit me at all? On the other hand, the Minimap X potentially does help u, when the target was spotted and sits at his last known position. As i said earlier, thx to that i got detonated by a Yamato, and im PRETTY sure he was using the Minimap X.

Ofc if its build into the game, then its not a cheat anymore, then its a feature. If u build an Aimbot into a FPS, then its not a cheat anymore. But the fact that something which is/can be considered as a cheat, is hidden inside a modpack, is not right, since noone tells u that the official modpack exists. And if WG thinks its fine the way it is, then it MUST be available in game, not as an external download.

But since they "kinda" allowed it in the official modpack, i dont see a reason why it shouldnt stay in game the way it currently is. + U get much more info from the X on the minimap - lets make that clear.

Its around since when? when the game was made obviously, so if its that bad, then they could have fixed it earlier. Its been around so long, might aswell keep it. Not to mention other resources that they are using to "fix" the Division window, which is worse than before. Its not like only pushing a Button is giving me any form of advantage - i still have to conclude what i do with the information provided, thats why its skill, and not only pressing a button Im not sure how those max zoom-out Mods work, can i use it for same purpose in any way? But anyway, we dont need that, since they have the Minimap-X in the official modpack, which serves the same or better purpose anyway... The difference is, one is available for everyone playing the game, and the other is not. So the priority would be to remove the Minimap-X first.

Yes, wasnt targeted at u, but some other ppl in this thread A Mod (per definition) shouldnt give the user advantages over non-mod users. A Mod could be used to enhance/enable different graphic settings, like different colors for torps. The Minimap-X isnt a Modification only because its part of a Modpack, and ppl wont acknowledge the fact.

Basicly its trial and error, and the amount of ppl shooting at the island is still... large? Also some ships are more suited for that (Atlanta) while others are not (RU railguns). I dont see much skill in that - knowing about game mechanics however is, and using them to your advantage. Doesnt matter that the actual advantage is pressing a button - but since the game doesnt tell u about it, it requires u to know something about the game. And using that knowledge in different situations benefitting YOURSELF! is cruicial for skill. I only used island shooting as the main advantage and the most obvious for the majority of ppl knowing it. As i said, i like to use it for other stuff aswell: Checking if Torps are gonna hit that target - might be crucial information if u can disregard that threat in your flank from now on, or do u have to still deal with him when he pops around the corner. HUGE impact on where i can put my focus on from now on.

Reminds me of a Yamato lately, who kept shooting at the position where i was last spotted (neptune smoke) - even when i was firing from a different location / not firing at all! U know how he got rewarded? By a stray shell hitting me at some point detonating me

its not about if i like it or not. Its just a way to shoot at them. Also BBs sit behind Islands aswell, so i can punish them too. Stationary Cruiser at an Island is far easier to hit than a moving object behind an Island, maybe Island camper wasnt the right word for it, to that i can admit. Also Cruisers having to hide behind Islands doesnt have anything to do with checking the location with the maptrick - Its about BB overpopulation which makes Cruisers do that. if there were 3 BBs max per side, with more Cruisers u wouldnt need to hug the Island with squishy cruisers.

Isnt the angle mod also in the official Modpack? Yes, just checked, its in there. Speed however, is new to me, i think thats something unwanted. Also not in the modpack. Oh for all the negative nancies: U can just the maptrick for other stuff too, but i guess u dont consider it to be usefull... which doensnt involve SHOOTING anyone! Just thinking if i should reveal it or not
