    RPF problem

    Can you maybe show that with Screens or a Replay? I always felt that RPF is not exactly spot on on the enemy ship. Sometimes the RPFed ship when detected, can be at the edge of the RPF circle, and suddenly it will move to the direction when the ship enters the next square.

    Do you blame Radar for that? I think there are many other reasons: - T10 BB are very accurate, they pump out a lot of shells, Cruisers can hardly angle against them even less so the closer you get. The insane range that makes them able to shoot from one map side to the other doesnt help either. - Everyone is spamming HE. The downfall came with RN BBs. Doesnt matter when you only hit 2 shells on 20km, if it starts a fire. Now we get even more insane HE spam from Worc, soon Harugumo (or what ever it is), RN DDs with just INSANE reload on their guns. The low fire chance is no balancing factor, they WILL burn you to death fast. And dont forget many other BBs slinging HE too now. It doesnt contribute to them personaly, but when you are detected, you will get burned alive by all enemies. DCP management is not possible at this rate. WG is moving in the totaly wrong direction with superfast firing guns. - Mistakes are punished heavily. Even when many ppl say (and i dont disagree) that T10 matches are full of potatoes, their shells hurt too. They might not play smart, but they arent too dumb to shoot. This contributes to everyone camping somewhere. If you are the only one on your team being detected, everyone will shell you. This is bad ofc, so hide more. US Cruiser arcs arent helping at all, since they can lob basicly any island. When you let DDs lose from the (Radar)-chain, the team with the surviving/smarter/better DDs will roflstomp even harder on the other side. Cruisers have no option than to run away when being permaspotted. Moskva and Hindenburg are potentially the only ones which can revers themselves out of a bad situation. But turning is an absolute no-go for any Cruiser. Even BBs will be punished severely when they need to make an unfavourable turn. (see flambass' latest Montana vid on YT = 90k damage reveiced in basicly 3 secs from 2 enemy BBs)

    How did you miss Indianapolis just couple of weeks ago? Would have been the easiest to go for imo? I dont know any other way to get one at this moment. If any is being available soon.. only WG can tell i think? Says so if you look at them in the Arsenal: - 3pt cptn - Port slot - Premium ships always come with Camo, so i guess so.

    They cant or wont. I think those DD players would like to play Cruisers, but they cant handle the playstyle. So they go for the more obvious choise (DD>BB), and demand to play the way they want to. I only hope WG wont listen to those ppl. Knows nothing, understands nothing and ontop of that even plays badly obviously.

    Captain skills for RN cruisers

    MFAA is not good on Mino. It only increases the DPS of the 152mm AA guns, and its kinda low to begin with. From 118 it doubles. The 76.2mm guns have much more DPS. AFT however, is really worth it. It basicly lets you have "stealth" AA, meaning, the CV will enter your AA range before it detects you. So even when he wants to leave when you get detected, he is still in your AA range. Also it increases the range of your higher DPS AA guns.

    WG removed the manual drop because of sealclubbing on lower tiers. I think Hosho is even less effected because of 2 torp bombers, which means you can even cross drop. btw try adjusting the Auto drop, so it will drop more from behind, Turning in they usually still get a hit, only thing when they slow down at the same time. If they are good at dodging, then use crossdrop.

Once again shows - your lack of game mechanic understanding - or blatantly ignoring them By that arguement, not spotting any ship while radaring makes Radar having a disadvantage. Your argument: (i just realized that the forum screwed that quote in my last post, my bad) BBs have heal. You feel that they are balanced around that? But Radar ships arent... ok way to ignore everything. You should play all different lines to have a better understanding especially how effective BBs can be against which Cruisers. RU Cruisers get wrecked EASILY when they show broadside. They have above water citadel. Same IJN ships but they are somehow trollish (atleast Zao) and atleast for me are more resilient overall. German Cruisers hardly eat citadels in close combat, but will easily get citadelled on long range. US Cruisers have waterline citadel, thus its harder to citadel them. Most other hits are overpens because paper armor. Oh ye, you dont play BBs... Maybe you should play them and see which (Radar)ships are balanced, and which might be the actual problem. I give you a hint: RU Cruisers are very squishy especially when they go close enough to radar, even when they have longer range radar. Moskva got buffed now, but its far away from being unbalanced. RN CLs? No need to talk about their survivability and tankyness, especially without smoke. Cleveland, Baltimore, Buffalo and Seattle - All perfectly fine imo. Either slow reload, or not very tanky, and Range/Duration not that unbalanced. Worcester? wrong on so many levels. DM is close to Worc. Did you ever look at DPM difference for those ships? Moskva can shoot like 4 times while his own radar (mostly front turrets only) and Worcester? 6x2 x 13 shots per min (40 sec base Radar + Radar module, is almost one minute). Worcester potential DPM in one Radar: 113256 Moskva: 36828 (with back turret), 24552 only front turrets. Clearly we see where the problem is. Once again, pretty wrong, see above. Ive said multiple times that i dont feel Worc or even DM to be balanced. Still Radar is fine overall. No, you must mean yourself because you dont understand which ships got heal... *looks at your stats* yep, Cruisers are harder to play than DDs.

    MM could never balance this because of Divisions: Put both Clevelands in your team, doesnt work, since it would be 3 divs vs 1. At the same time, cant exchange any of your divisions, because both T10 Cruisers are in one. The ONLY option would have been: Swap your B division with Iowa, Seattle, Donskoi, and swap all T8 Cruisers, which would have ended in 4vs1 Radar cruiser aswell. So no possible way. Btw your division has a super unicum WR today, while your 2nd division is very bad... also the rest of your team is kinda bad, while enemy team has decent + players. Still, you want to win even more? Maybe you would have lost anyway... Wrong Mostly wrong, ships that are heavily affected shouldnt sit in smoke anyway. Ok so sitting in smoke without spotting is your own fault then. If i smoke with my RN CL in the vicinity of a Radar ship, its MY fault. If a DD sits in smoke because reason, then screw that. Its not a disadvantage, it becomes obsolete for the Radar duration. If you have smoke, you have it. You dont lose anything for it, except certain DDs, and RN CLs (kinda...) Still no disadvantage. You dont lose anything because of that consumable. Even if shot down immediately, you receive the information anyway, since AA range = detection. Technically any ship which has to chose between Hydro and DefAA has a disadvantage by the time a CV is there. ONce again, your lack of Cruiser knowledge is showing. RN BBs have totaly OP heal because Reason? I disagree heavily that they are balanced. They dont even have a Citadel mostly (except Nelson, which can be citadelled through the front). As i said again, which you are blatantly ignoring: Show broadside with RU Cruisers, you enter citadel hell. All but Chapa have worse Detection than Radar Range. Also they have a pretty slow reload. Missouri is potentially the only Ship which has no disadvantage compared to Iowa and gets the Radar for free. Black too i guess. Belfast is OP because of all the gimmicks it has. US Cruisers have limited range again, they are pretty thinly armored too. I wouldnt concider Cleveland, Seattle (not entirely sure), Buffalo and Baltimore to be unbalanced because of Radar. CAs have slow reload, and arent really tanky. CLs arent tanky at all. Worcester is different, its reload is way too fast + all consumables. DM is a bit on the same level imo, reload is too fast. I assume you meant yourself with that?

    Ofc, the Radar ships dont have other shortcommings to balance it... RU Radar Cruisers are easiest to blow out of the water if they show broadside. US Cruisers have limited range. Lets not start with UK CLs shall we? By that arguement what are the disadvantages for other consumables?

    Yep, and by making Radar LoS you will stomp random solo players even more and help those cancer divisions. DD goes in, smokes, Worcester follows, sits in smokes *bing* enemy DD dead, Radar ship safe, DD safe, since the enemy radar ships would need to have LoS aswell on that Worcester now, in order to detect him. How does this help vs Radar ships that have longer range radar than detection? Nothing... If the Radarship gets detected, he only has to use Radar, HE IS ALREADY DETECTED! If the Radarship sits behind an island, well who cares if he is detected or not? You cant hit him anyway. All in all Radar is fine, the only problem is ships that have Radar range equal or longer than their own detection. And maybe the duration from US CL Radar in combination with Radar module. Maybe US radar should be much smaller in general, and the radar module should extend range, not duration? So that the module works differently for US and RU cruisers.

    So you admit we are right, but you are somehow dissatisfied with the term kill-stealing I think you are german, so you know what Korinthenkacker means... Even tho, its obviously a well defined, accepted term in online-communites/gaming (quote from wiki): which you dont seem to understand, so the problem is with you, not with us. And this could be the whole team in Wows except one. One person doing that usually is not even that bad, but when half or more of your team does that (thx WG for those missions btw )then you are screwed.

    You can try to win the operation when 5 teammembers refuse to shoot and the other 2 have to pound it down Thats clearly killstealing. Holding fire until target is low.

    Ive seen one streamer yesterday (YT vid) who received 15 containers from WG to show viewers whats in them, and i think he got 1x 24 and the rest was 12.

    Kill missions always make WoWs worse... i dont know why they still make stuff like that. Funny thing is, i basicly every time got 5 or more kills, not that i deliberately would do it, but if ppl would play properly, they would get it done much faster (except for the times the team failed miserably -_-) Only happens when noone is infront of the CV imo. Far easier than UF.

    huh? This cant be true. Raptor is stopping twice and not moving fullspeed in between. You would need to go 1/4 speed from spawn to never catch up to him i think. Overall the worst problem is imo the randomness of the spawns. Not sure if there is a pattern, i think for the last BB wave (which can be cruisers too), it depends which path the CV is taking. If it goes north, then the BBs spawn south. If CV goes south, Cruisers spawn north. Not sure what happens when CV wants to go to upper corner? It died on its way there by 2 Cruisers the first time i had that setup. Also i dont know which makes the first 3 Cruisers (Aoba Myoko Kuma) spawn south or north. Usually its almost always managable when you take 2-man division into it. BB+ Cruiser. Cruiser can take the southern CV group when noone else is going there. BB can stay close to Raptor. Today several matches either 5 stars or no stars. When your team does nothing you will fail. Have them atleast shoot the bots its enough for 5 Stars.

    Seems like you are talking about Two brothers? Basicly the only map where 2 Lemmingtrains can choochoo in the same direction all game long. Well, depends if atleast some ppl are capable of communicating in your team. Possible best way to win: Have some ships cover the back, if possible delay the enemy from capping. If a DD can come to back, thats awesome, since his torps will coz trouble and some ships might turn around running towards the rest of your lemming train, which should be dealt with. If you are at the end: Dont run into them, get some shots on, delay them as much as possible. Its crucial not to die when this happens, since it will put you at a disadvantage, Thats why those slow BBs need help in fending of the back aswell, since they cant spot for themselves.

    Dont know if you know this, but beached ships are harder to hit properly because of the aim-correction. Obviously the game thinks the target is moving in some direction, even when its not. It corrects your aim (which it does every time you shoot) and screws up. Same goes for borderhumping ships.

    Sadly, the amount of games for one day are not representive. That can be explained by being unlucky. Everyone who has thousands of games played, has a pretty accurate WR for his personal abilities in the game. Yes ofc. Being able to know WHEN to make a move (if necessary) is crucial for winning more games. F.e. BB performance is not strictly tied towards how much damage they deal. A BB is a tool to stop enemies from advancing somewhere. If one flank is left by BBs, the enemy WILL advance there, resulting in a collapsed flank thus boxing in your team. No angling and hiding is possible anymore = loss. Cruisers have different roles and should play accordingly. DDs are the eyes. If they dont do that, your team is screwed. Torps dont necessarily need to hit, but they can block parts of the map too. Or make enemies turn for your own team to shoot broadside. There are many factors you have to consider when matches are tight. A push at the right time can yield a victory, while a push at the wrong time can turn it into a loss.

    They happen to everyone. But those are not the games that count. Enemies throw games as often as your own team does, but remembering those doesnt fit human nature. You feel more betrayed when one of your teammates is throwing your win away. If you win because of potato enemies, it feels like you did good. However, when you have a poor game and lose, maybe its time to look at yourself, what did I do wrong?. I dont look at my best games (which i lost more often than won! (i think atleast, but my best damage was a loss)) afterwards, because i only made that much damage BECAUSE my team was that stupid. If my team would have been better, my damage/PR would have been worse for that game. Worst since holidays started in germany id say...

    So what you are saying is that your team consists of morons every game? Not every game can be won - fact. Not even the biggest tryhard 3-man division can win it all. And neither should they. Ive said it before: Some games you win no matter what, and some games you will lose. In order to get a better WR, you have to make those games count where its tight. If you dont, and make the wrong choices, you will lose more often. Thats how it works. There are different ways to win a game. Either you know what to do or not. Outcome is your personal WR.

    deliberately I was going for that one. If one team has all the R1 players, then it might cancel each other out when there are actual good R1 players are those "grinders". Apart from that, how do you rank ppl in who dont play ranked at all or only a little bit? I tried once getting R1, after 60 battles on R2 and 3 times within one star, i gave up and dont bother with ranked anymore. I only play so much that i get some rewards in and thats it. Would be quite unfair when one team has good R1 players and good non-ranked players at the same time.
