True. After the reload nerf i think i lost almost 0,1 avg kills on my hindi stats (im at ~0,7 kills/game after the change...) Damage i lost ~1000 average on hindi stats (ofc reality its more, but since its dropping it says something) The extra heal is pretty much a slap in the face to call it a buff. Now i can go without skilling SI - which doesnt help me one bit, because other cptn skills are close to useless.

Played 2 random matches today (in a division with a streamer who takes random ppl onboard), first was total roflstomp. 2nd one was looking pretty bad pretty early, alltho it ended in 3vs2 and then our last 2 died - but i was sure it was a loss rather early. Then i played 4 sprint ranked games alone, basicly all can be considered roflstomps (last one was a loss when i was last man vs 7 ships... managed to kill all their DDs still, as a minekaze lol) I didnt really have to do anything most of the time, alltho i still got decent damage in 2 matches but it was only damage farming at that point.

But they pley 4 phun! How dare you say they are useless Question is: will the new CVs be so frustrating to play for those ppl that they will stop playing CV? Ofc not, since they are having "fun"

You know whats best? He basicly burned to death He DCPed one fire from my secondaries, while i just shot, so i did switch to HE, and he had 2 permafires after that -

Well ive done it sometimes. But it doesnt work always, nor should you attempt it always^^ Depends on Map and enemies. Sometimes ive lost half my health to get one DD down. Probably works better when you have someone in your division who actually shoots the DD aswell -

I think so too. If you play a division that can handle DDs, you dont need a Missouri. Musashi will punish BBs much better than Missouri. But i guess you have a better influence with Missouri in the game if you play them solo. I agree. Basicly ppl were always whining about BBs camping in the back. So Missouri is a BB that says "hey, go to the front and use Radar" and thats not fine either So what they meant was: BBs should go to the front and die And the amount of DDs i radared open water... they deserved it quite frankly -
Think he meant AP. And with that he is right quite frankly. I never understood that, id gladly have better AP and trade it for normal HE. (but AP really needs to be good then) 2,5kts is marginal at best. And NM has 50% more shells per salvo compared to QE, which makes punishing broadsides easier. And citadelling BBs because sAP can prevent that. I have not really too many games in my NM (so sample size is iffy) but i have 11k more avg damage in NM compared to QE (78k vs 89k). Those 2 i played at the same time, Fuso/Bayern earlier so cant compare them.

QE would like to have a word with you Basicly the same armor and roughly same speed. On the other hand, it has better guns than NM and better reload. If you overbuff the US BBs, then you have the next one being crap (and QE is already pretty shitty by most ppl, while i actually did like it because of the guns).

I understand where you are coming from, but i think its wrong to ban someone to play with 2 friends just because he chooses to play a specific class. That means there is something wrong with the overall balancing if its at a point where you pretty much cant counter it. And ofc that players are really bad doesnt help either. Also you cant really blame someone that they play CV with 2 strong AA ships - why would you deliberately take ships which dont fit together just to handicap yourself? Sure, bad players do that all the time, they play 3x BB/DD and make their team lose because of that (but they dont understand that).

according to wiki 23 kts, while 27 ingame. So i think if US Dreadnoughts would be faster it wouldnt be too far of from reality? Back with the original lines/ships i think it was fine. But nowadays? Everything is so much faster around them, so for me that would be the most reasonable buff, they dont need something which might make them OP in other departements.

CVs are getting reworked anyway, and WG seems/wants to remove the hardcap on them... worries me much more tbh.

Lyon however didnt exist, so they could have just made it slower? And as i stated earlier, i agree with you, and from a gamebalancing pov id go for speedboost. Technically they are still slow, but you can get into or out of the battle faster when necessary. If those dreadnoughts could occasionally do 24~ kts it would be fine imo. We also have DDs now that move 55kts... while in reality Le terrible did 45 kts under trials. So i think Colorado moving 3 kts faster than IRL is much less irrational than DDs moving 55 kts

Yep, definetely this one. I was initially going for secondary build since T7, but FDG was so shitty i skipped it, and playd GK a handful of battles now - i already moved away from a bit from the secondary build by speccing CE (already made life much easier compared to the first battles without) and i switched the 3rd slot secondary module to aiming system mod 1. Havent tried how that works out yet, but i assume its better than to have useless secondaries most of the game. My secondary range is still 10,2km, lets face it, thats plenty, because: - A DD being >10,2km and <11,6km will hardly get hit by secondaries anyway. Also he most likely can escape that range. A DD which is closer to me is a viable target, and the extra range doesnt help me. - A BB being between that range: Well that actually can happen, however you mostly would count on fires for meaningful damage. Imo its not a big loss - A Cruiser at that range: Probably the best target because it will receive damage and is big enough to get hit. Now comes the BUT: with better main guns, its more likely that i can get rid of that Cruiser with those that wait what my secondaries will do to it. And probably no Cruiser wants to be that close to a BB anyway (unless its a hindi - but that means it will come closer than 10,2km also)

This. Once i basicly killed a Conq 1v1 in my Bismarck (granted, he was that stupid) Other time tanked and killed a GK (also Bismarck), but had some help from my team. Most average players think, "im T10, he is T8, what can he do to me" and they overconfidently keep broadsiding. This is ofc not limited to BBs (my Fiji and Shchors would like to have a word in that killing a Neptune and Seattle respectively because they broadsided ) Recently ive come to the conclusion however, that T6 vs T8 is more unfair that T8 vs T10, so i think its actually better that MM is the way it is. (only thing which needs improvement not having 1-2 T8 ships/side in an otherwise T10 only match) -

Its also more complicated for DDs, since you could accidently leave the island and run into someones radar because you dont have the info that its activated. While right now you would just sit behind the island and wait it out. Im glad they didnt go with LoS Radar, would have caused more problems than solved. But solving problems doesnt really work: its WG themselves that is releasing Radar ships all the time, which causes the actual problem. -
FDG was so horribly unfun to play i skipped it with FreeXP - the only time i did that so far Sure i know its mostly the meta, but when you fight a Donskoi and Minotaur broadside at >8km, you should be able to somewhat delete them, not tickle them to death with 2 overpens because your guns decided to hit everything but the ship. As for US BBs: I think they should give NY, NM and Colorado a speedboost (maybe NY needs some other buffs aswell). They are slow af, but they are dreadnoughts after all, so buffing their speed in general doesnt seem to fit their role. Probably their standard move for NC/Iowa: lower the citadel

This wont help. Even Moskva has more than double (afaik) belt armor than the RNCLs, and still eats longrange citadels from BB AP. I think the citadel shouldnt have the elevated part in the center, see how that goes. -

Id say a Bow-on Moskva at an Island close to a Cap has more influence with its Radar than a longrange HE slinging Hindi. I really dislike early gameplay in Hindi - feels like a total waste. And if the match gets a roflstomp, then you basicly have a shitgame. I havent seen too many Hindis lately in my T10 games, which ofc makes it easier for other Cruisers. But somehow i feel that BBs either are too dumb to shoot Moskva bow on, or they are really unlucky. One GK game in the last T10 ranked i kept shooting a Bow on Moskva (because Yamato bow on and Mino which my DD didnt want to spot - so i was out of options) and did ~60k damage to him, even citadelled it. Definetely dealt ~10k per salvo on average, -

How is sitting nose in, laughing at the incomming shells, not more idiot proof than Hindi? Looking at Moskva here ofc. Before the Bow-buff, sure Moskva was different. But now? I play division with Moskva frequently, and he can just sit there laughing at the enemy basicly. ( @ForlornSailor ) You cant go brawling early game. You can angle pretty much against the ship you want to brawl with, any other BB and most Cruisers on the flank can easily devstrike you. The best way is to conserve your healthpool till the lategame, so you can pick the fight you want, and basicly win. 17,8km range... thats not really much. Wrong. You might receive citadels easier, but BBs miss more often and you can evade easier. 12~km is a death sentence for a Hindenburg when being broadside. -

The problem with removing Citadels is, that it would totaly screw up Cruiser vs Cruiser gameplay. Basicly comes down to who has the higher HE DPM to kill the other. but some Cruisers could definetely have their citadels lowered (looking at you Neptune and Minotaur). They are just too juicy target even when sitting in smoke and you shoot unaimed at them. Ppl ignore spotted ships that are closer just to shoot you in the smoke, because 99% they get a citadel. -
You could translate this into: DDs dont want the same treatment as BBs have been experiencing more and more - i know what im talking about. It doesnt matter WHO is playing BB, someone will start to flame you eventually because you are a BB, even for things you didnt do. Ive been called maxrangesniper who doesnt do anything by a DD recently, despite me sitting next to him in the cap There is a difference between reprimanding someone with a reason and wrongly spewing insults. I rather make fun of ppl like the guy mentioned above, because he is the bad player - not me. And ofc i tried to tell him normaly SEVERAL times why his playstyle is bad and hurts the team. @Pikkozoikum I think thats actually the point which we are seeing differently: I talk about blaming someone for a reason. Many ppl however blame others without reason, because they lack map awareness (mostly). Thats why i say, i wouldnt blame average players, while you say you could blame them. Doesnt mean its justified really. It could be justified in that instance, but in other games he might play well and even get complimented. But its the frequency whats causing players to come to the forums and rant (not always ofc). If we would remove all the bad players, you could blame the before average guys for being bad. But since it wouldnt happen that often, why would you? But right now we see this crap every game, and every class does his own part. Sure i guess so too. Noone is perfect, and everyone can make mistakes.

No, i think you are saying that someone with a bad WR is automatically playing bad. This is only true in the current form, where every skill level is allowed to play. If you remove the worst players, (as i said before) then ofc the average players will take their spot according to WR. But it doesnt automatically mean that they become idiots who dont know the basics of the game. The worst players are actually getting blamed for that: They dont understand time/points/objectives, and they will throw the game because of reasons like that. There would be no reason (or atleast not very often) to blame a player if he tries to win the game. And the current 40% WR guys are basicly sabotaging the team, while the >50% guys either have very little impact or atleast carry their own weight. They wont do mistakes more often than they do the stuff that is needed to win the game. I can only blame someone if i see that his actions are totaly stupid and hurting your team. Why would i blame an average player if he doesnt do stuff like that?
