Gets really boring after some time tho Definetely looks like the enemy teams we had lately. Simply NOT moving anywhere away from spawn. I still stand by my observation -> if you lead them, they follow like little sheep. Guess you have to git gud and lead the charge with your CV I think the BB AP change on DDs might have caused extra problems right there. Majority of the BBs is now running into a corner. Earlier they atleast made SOME effort to not leave their position, even if it was still camping. Now its actively avoiding battle. Playing DD it shows, torping something gets impossible with 8km torps on midtiers. And you can open water dakka pretty safely. BBs tend to ignore you, unless they have HE loaded. Cruisers sitting at 14km can be dodged.- 48 replies

Game improvement Radar changes/Status buttons & Auto. AFK

This radar change would make the game less fun for everyone i guess DDs being permaradared the whole game, so they have to focus on working against that every 10 secs. If the DD times that perfectly, he can probably dodge all shells going his way, because in 2-3 secs you cant check his speed (with torps) And due to glorious WG coding, some/most? players wont even see the DD, because of the rendering delay, even faster rendering will probably leave you with only 1 sec to shoot. The whole game would only evolve around radar- 20 replies

Last 90 days 56 games in BB average damage 102k Imo looks perfectly fine. US CLs citadel sit very low in the water, and the citadel deck is too thick to overmatch. If you dont hit the waterline - you wont get a citadel. I shot a Dallas at 9km in my Nelson like 4-5 times once, getting ONLY overpens. Not one Pen or Citadel. Aiming below the waterline resulted in 0 hits -

Its totaly weird... One would think, how can we be that lucky with teams? Literally the enemy team refuses collectively to play - not only since today, but has been for the last 20 games or so. They just sit in spawn either waiting to die or to let the game finish due to points. My theory on that is, that they dont have anyone to lead them. Or we kill that leader. Example from my last Z-39 game (was 1 DD only). Killed the DD, then enemies went to hide in the bottom left quarter of the map. Or today with my KGV, i had a couple of lemmings just follwing me. They can shoot and hit stuff, they are just scared if the one infront of them dies, that they become the target and they cant handle that. That you can actually observe quite often on the enemy team aswell. Kill any ship first in the line, and the ones behind him suddenly crap their pants.- 48 replies

Do you follow where your shells land? I mean, that should normaly tell you what is wrong with your aiming. Too much lead or not enough? CAn you post a replay? The folder exists for everyone these days, so you should have some afaik. Should be clear why you dont hit when looking at that. -

Different classes supporting each other is much better than having multiple same class ships trying to support each other. BB/CA/DD division can carry and support each other much better than other combos. Ofc there are some DD combos which probably work well together (spot DD + Gunboat DD f.e. on one cap) But if your team has only 3 DDs, and all of em are running to one cap, preferably hugging a cap in there spotting nothing, then you lose whole map control and you are blind.

How are facts biased? Do DDs not spawn next to each other when they are in a division? And its more like, your view is biased as the average 3x DD division sucks [edited]. You just feel targeted by that because you are playing that yourself obviously. It can be succesful - noone argueing with that. It can also screw you majorly and its worse than having a stupid CV.

Man those teams are crap these days... Barely let you do anything (the enemies that is) Well, atleast i won 40 out of the last 41 games Won 20, lost 1 currently on a 21-streak again. Couple of screens from the games today, since more is simply not possible with how the players are playing right now Spotted and killed the 2 DDs myself... thats even questionable af, since im not even running CE on my shchors Many fires = little damage. BBs insta DCPed every single fire, but afterwards i didnt get one or i had to fight the DDs Was atleast some intense fighting here, as you see, even both BBs fired HE at me. 1 tirpitz HE secondary shell caused a permafire, almost killing me in the end Some anecdotes from the games - Blapped a Southern Dragon with my KGV right at the start of the game at >20km. He then stopped playing and i killed him a bit later when he was standing there full broadside ?! - An Algerie caused 5 fires with 2 salvos to my NC - Kirov has a new Citadel: Its located right at the rudder as i shot him several times with my KGV at his broadside getting not one citadel. He then tried to escape behind an island, 2 shells went over to hit his rudder basicly -> citadel kill. - Got radared 2 times by a CLeveland in my Cossack and didnt die. How did i do that? -

Actually it doesnt really matter. Queen Elizabeth has the same guns and you are better of using AP in her aswell, despite having better HE penetration.

Sadly, 90% of the average plebs see it the other way round... for them, unicum CVs are whats killing the game. At the same time, their own glue eater is to blame much more for making them lose. How does these 2 sentences make any sense in your mind? If a single player can not be blamed for losing the game, then how would 1 guy being AFK make him only have a WR of 25%? -

This. Obviously we need convincing on this one: Scharnhorst AP can only overpen DDs, thus switching your ammo to HE quick can be useful. PM on a BB is not that useful compared to dealing more damage to a DD when it counts. -
Id like to add, or better disagree, on one point here: You cant tank the same way in both ships - never! Musashi can bowtank vs all BBs except Musashi/Yamato, while Nelson gets frontal Citadelled by so many BBs, that you have to know whom you can bowtank and who not. Its a must to have a slight angle in Nelson vs those BBs (or simply not engage them 1v1). Nelson can too punish other BBs, but the others can do it faster to him because of the huge citadel.

LoS radar will not make it into the game - WG tested it and they didnt like it The 2nd option will probably make it into the game, so did WG say atleast. Btw, DDs cant be counter to DDs. That would mean, if you side loses all their DDs, that they have a tremendous advantage over the other - and frequently you actually see that one team loses all DDs within the first 4 minutes of the game.

I think it really was (much more) OP before they nerfed it. Played it last week first time since after the nerf i think, and it kinda sucked. Not because it was much worse, but because it was really frustrating to hit anything. Still blapped a DD, but at the same time i had several salvos on a fully broadside, stopped BB and got like 2 hits on average... I dont like WGs approach when they nerf something, they suddenly seem to make it unfun to play. Or its not fun to begin with. Having derpy guns as a downside is really lame.

Imo its just to work with your concealment - like with any other BB aswell. But if you play Musashi you have to be extra careful not to get enemies into your flank. Even a little too much side and they can citadel you through your cheek. If you are getting farmed by HE spam, and have no option to be undetected, id say you pushed ahead too early. If you have still backup around you that is. HE spam is never an issue for me when i play BB, and im not even going (full) anti-fire build most of the time. For IJN/US/RN i went with FP - but not on the german line. And even there its still managable in big fat GK. And ofc i use premium consumables and anti-fire flag - but nothing else like BoS.

I feel that Bot CVs are usually harder to deal with than Human CVs They constantly start their planes and attack immediately (so strafing isnt as good usually). Strafing Fighters is even worse, as you have to strafe head on. If you play IJN CV, the bot might run AS, which has more fighters than you, then it gets even worse because of low ammo on IJN fighters. The Bot CV WILL get strikes through - unless you play AS setup, which is totaly retarded imo.

What i would do: On lowertiers, cap circle are rather small on Epicenter (big race and Trident), but there are enough islands around. So you will be fairly close to the BB, and if he wants to stick inside the inner circle, chances of him taking torps is rather high. For inbetween resets: Shoot before going to hide behind an island On highertiers, the capcircle is fairly big, so both fit into the circle with the DD being unspotted. Well its only Tears of the Desert anyway. Resetting him could be a bit harder because the islands are further apart. Or not sure if the DD could play cat and mouse around the island in the circle. The big circle makes it easier for the BB to dodge torps tho. -
Or try not to shoot when he is full broadside. If he wants to throw all torps, he must angle in between. That would be the time to shoot.

Everyone with 590 battles (actually more like 460 randoms) should be advised not to play hightiers. And for all of them, Radar isnt the biggest obstacle. If you basicly dont know anything yet (which can be safely assumed with that little games), you cant blame Radar for causing you problems.
