  1. This might be theoratically true (if you only look at DPM output by numbers). But Stalin will pretty much NEVER lose this, because it has - 0,22 sec AP fuse delay compared to Krons 0,33 sec. So it will get more pens/Citadels - Has better AP penetration angles. Again more pens/Citadels - Needs less armor to fuse the shell (i hope the info is true from wowsft.com), 34mm for stalin and 51mm for Kron. which means again more pens, and less overpens. - And Stalin has better armor penetration, aka more cits on BBs. I dont expect a "if the target angles" answer, because then all other Cruisers will outDPM both.

    Well, you could ofc say most of DD vs DD engagements tend to be angled at some point. But if the other DD runs away, then is still not lost. Compared to, he is actively chasing you to kill you in case you have no backup. In the 2nd instance having no IFHE can really [edited]you. While with the first one the fight just gets prolonged if he manages to escape. Since im playing only divisions anymore, i dont see myself picking IFHE exactly due to that reason. If he is angling, i have atleast someone to shoot him most of the time. And there is still your other teammates

    And this has a significant impact because? I think Harugumo has the lowest HE damage at TX, which is 396 per penetration. Not to mention Conqueror's 2376 damage. With Auxiliary Armaments Modification 1 they might not get destroyed with the first hit by small caliber HE... but still, BB HE has to be the reference as it strips ships of their AA very easily.

    Why has this have to stay that way? I kinda wonder about comments like that when someone proposes something. Cant be because x. x isnt allowed to change because...? (this isnt directed at you personallly, but ive seen that multiple times) Just change it that disabled AA mounts would count the same way as now, and hey, you would get the mission done EASIER, since you can farm the same modules multiple times

    Stalin doesnt play like Kronshtadt really. Kronshtadt has weak armor all over the place so it cant bowtank at all, compared to stalin which can do it. Stalin plays like Moskva. Kronshtadt works best roaming around. Personaly, i might be faced with the same dilemma at some point (not yet tho). But i see Bourgogne being more fun in randoms. Or even Azuma, if it will be a steel ship, but i would think so.

    If they get disabled, they are not invincible Invincible means, they will always work 100%. Im definetely on the side, that AA guns shouldnt get destroyed. Temporarily disabled - even for like 1 minute or so would be fine. Ive heard reworked CVs can destroy AA guns with rockets and then come back later with bombs so the target is much more vulnerable. And imo thats an issue. Also atleast gives the illusion of more teamplay -> shoot HE to disable AA, then let CV drop.

    Since IFHE doesnt even pen 25mm armor, i think ill skip it. I have enough games under my belt with RN CLs so i know where to shoot AP. Even a good player wont try to rush you if you have backup. So the only times it would really matter is, when the game is already over and you are getting rushed and you have to fight off the enemy DD. But imo that rarely happens. Having RPF in that instance might be equally beneficial, since you know where he is coming from = torp in advance.
  10. Probably not enough armor to fuse the shell? Kronshtadt should need 51mm of armor to fuse the shell, JB upper belt is 32mm? When its full broadside, i guess it doesnt fuse at all

    How can they not see that this is utterly retarded? 4 CVs means only 8 other surface ships. 1 CV deals with 2 other ships basicly. At the same time, they dont want CVs sniping each other. So after 1/4 of the time, all surface ships will be dead, and the remainder of the time we will see 8 CVs trying to somehow murder each other.
  12. Maybe they should give it 0,2 sec AP Fuse delay (instead of 0,33) so it wont overpen Cruisers as much Stalingrad has it aswell... Then i could live with the worse dispersion. But its so [edited]retarded that you only get overpens because shells are so fast. Broadsides should get punished more - not less.
  13. Sigma isnt everything. Kron uses UK/US/RU BB dispersion elipse, thats why it has such a bad dispersion. Sigma only groups shells together to the center. Personaly: I dont like Kronshtadt either that much. Dispersion is just so meh for a Cruiser. As for being easily citadelled i disagree. The citadel is imo well protected with weakspots infront of the turrets. And i guess Repub/Yamato guns will citadel your broadside easier as the CItadel deck armor is 30mm (=overmatch).

  15. Some assorted torping screens. Divisioned with @159Hunter so he could grind his PEF credits. So i played Shinonome. Other than that: Horrible teams at times (the enemies that is) Several matches just pushovers, where i couldnt deal any damage. Had to fight the enemy DD, then i was halfdead, and all the enemies kept running away. 8km torps from behind? doesnt work. Shooting with 9km range? Doesnt work either

    Our Z was basicly sitting right in the middle of the cap - enemy Z sat behind an island, i believe noone had shots on him. Advancing further was also rather tricky, as we faced 2x musashi, JB and a FDG infront of us, with a Gearing and Yugumo lurking around. Our Gearing went border hugging the same time The only thing that saved us was that there was no Cruiser, as they went to the opposite side of the map. Yugumo got radared+blapped, FDG pushed into us, we took the cap and it was GG basicly. We held all other caps aswell, which is no surprise as we faced almost all BBs + half of the DDs on our flank. Gotta be careful that they dont die too fast tho, as they cant tank. Before it started to be that weird, we actually had really intense fights before that. Was close and fun. Then enemies just refused to play which is no fun?

    Concealment - this cant be right???

    The number doesnt say anything - only real concealment in km is what counts. You should be using Concealment Module in 4th slot and Concealment Expert captain skill (4 pts). That will bring your concealment down to 10,6km with the DM. Amagi can not have a better concealment than ~13km (think its 12,9). So if both of you are running full concealment build, you will ALWAYS outspot the amagi if you are in open water. If there is an island blocking your vision, then he can ofc be undetected and pop right into your face. If that happens, you want better map awareness.exe

    Battleship against Cruiser or Destroyer

    For me the RNG spread torps are worse than BB dispersion. Torps reload much slower, and they have to travel to the target much longer than shells. So naturally you will miss with them because the target is changing course. But if you predict it right, and then get screwed because of RNG - this is a kick in the nuts. I prefer Cruiser because they have reliable guns compared to BBs. But its still RNG if you get blapped or not.

    Occasionally this is fine ofc.. but basicly all 6 games yesterday were roflstomps. Only 1 time there was a slight "will we lose this?" early on, but that didnt hold long. Couple of days ago 3 out of 4 games i barely did anything... didnt have to and neither could i. Enemies just gave up
