    Nah, you are wrong on that one. Have you played recently? Immediately after the BB AP change, you could rush down BBs at will with your DD. Ive done it, division mates did it too. Ive seen it in randoms all the time. DDs tried to do it to me - but failed because either load HE, turn around or both. What happened after a couple of weeks? (i really had fun playing DD for a while). BBs IMMEDIATELY run away after their own DD got killed infront of em. Conclusion were even more onesided steamrolls than before. We killed the enemy DD infront of us, got the caps. Meanwhile the enemy BBs retreated back into their spawn basicly border hugging. Happened all the time. - Random teammates dont support their DDs, even if they are aggressive - When the DD dies, remaining team doesnt know what to do, but they learned if they stay there, they will die to torps fast. So the only thing which would happen if there would be no radar is, that one team would end up getting roflstomped even harder. Usually the one which had worse DDs which died fast/early.

    Plunging fire at 11 km? Thats more than wishful thinking. The impact angle is so shallow it will just bounce of the deck.

    5,5 games / hour around the clock. Totaly doesnt sound like a bot WG should really look into something like that.

    GAMEPLAY GETTING WORSE

    This weekend was horrible. Not sure if it was the players only, but felt like MM screwing around bigtime aswell. Every non T9/10 game we were lowtier -2, except once which was only -1. Play t6 -> T8 MM T8? -> T10 MM (mostly no other T8s around + ocean map once) T7 was once T8 and once T9 MM. Feels like before they changed T8 MM to me, but with getting screwed at T6+T7 aswell. Before friday MM felt really decent. Was an equal amount of being top and lowtier regardless which tier i played.
  5. Thats how ive felt all along: HE doesnt hit. Why? Dunno... But i actually citadelled the NC aswell at like 12km. That was a WTF moment (nürnberg died with one salvo )
  6. Ah, funny you just posted. Here, our favorite ship in action HE = crap / AP = super HE hitrate a good 10%, while AP more like 45%

    This looks more like a bot to me rather than someone who just yolos in every game. He occasionally manages to survive. And he deals atleast some kinda damage. Damage upon spotting seems equal all the time (10k overall and each interval) - that i actually find kinda strange.
  8. BB guns do hurt 1. Nobody wanted to deal with that DD sadly... he sat in the middle all game long. CV didnt spot him. Meanwhile i try to get close, and my CV couldnt even protect me from one enemy TB with 2 of his fighters. After the drop he came, only to leave again when 2 DBs approached me. But i wanted to get the DD. 2. I hit the screenshot button a bit too late. Was a 36k Salvo with Cita on the Bismarck. Half his HP gone basicly

    Help Me Decide! - Bismarck or Amagi

    If you wanna continue to T10 maybe i can give a little advice with the ships which are waiting for you. I have GK and Musashi (not Yamato, but they are basicly the same). They have rather different playstyles. Yamato/Musashi can get away by simply bowtanking and shredding basicly any angled ship because of the overmatch. A GK needs to show LOTS of broadside to use all his guns, so you want to be moving constantly. While GK also basicly doesnt get citadelled, it still receives massive penetration damage due to its sheer size. But making a wrong move with Yamato can also get you killed very fast tho. If you want to play it safe, take GK with a tank build. Full anti fire. The GK is basicly the only ship which can bowtank a Yamato, but because it so big, its also vulnerable to fires, while not being vulnerable to the HE damage itself because of the thick armor. So using an anti-fire build is safer than going secondary build. Secondary build in this meta is imo not much fun, i didnt go full secondary either. Yamato can also deal with HE spam because the deck armor can shatter most/all Cruiser HE, but its still a bit smaller than a GK. In terms of carrying your team to victory, i rate Yamato higher than GK, simply because the guns are more reliable.

    Can add one more from right now. Really fun when the game is landing all your shells in the torpedo bulge and you cant even tell if you could punch through to the citadel which is above water, because you simply arent allowed to hit it Out of 8 pens only 1 dealt damage - thanks for nothing

    Cannot use secondaries in Operation Narai.

    Its actually not limited to Narai. We were playing Killer Whale, and at the same time, neither me nor @ForlornSailor could ctrl+click any target for secondaries. Suddenly it worked for both of us again at the same time!!! Definetely a bug ingame.
  12. You will see, WG "data" will show that people are using the modules. And i dont even doubt that. Idiots probably will use every LM they get, since they cant understand if its useful or not. Hard to get = must be awesome. Slap some impressive % numbers on it and they go like "wooooow" Related to that, but im not sure: If you look at the Arsenal the tab "popular" it shows DCP mod 1... so we can assume many players buy that module despite it being totaly crap in reality?

    Ill leave this here despite the damage being not really high But its basicly almost all on Cruisers and DDs - roughly 100k. Spawned in the center, and i saw majority of enemies went to A. So i decided to push between B/C in the flank. Had a Yugumo and Grozovoi infront of me. Meanwhile my Shima in C sits in smoke. I asked him for help several times to spot the Yugumo, which was 6-7km infront of me. What does Shima do? Steams full ahead, never shoots gets killed by both the DDs. I managed to shoot the Yugumo down to 900 HP. Behind me my Cleveland islands camps, i told him why he sits in the back when got only 2 DDs infront of me. That was while i was engaged with the Yugumo. Cleveland shooting? Hehe you wish. He let the Yugumo escape. Later yugumo rushed that Cleve and he finaly killed it, but it doesnt stop here. Cleveland basicly ran away from the pushing Grozovoi (while i already had retreated too because i got torped constantly (TRB Yugumo)). Grozovoi killed our Cleveland Mostly with guns !!!! After that i was pushed into B, where the shima was waiting for me, because i blapped his Ibuki 2 mins into the game i guess. Dodged couple of torp salvos, killed the DM which was camping in the back aswell, but at some point i couldnt dodge anymore and died. Result: Killed 3 out of 4 Cruiser, engaged with 3 DDs most of the game. Still team is stupid and dies.

    Interesting that my previous post was deleted But you base your arguement on what MMM showed you, and conclude it was onesided because of that. It showed 5 guys with purple stats in the respective ships, while for the enemy team it pretty much showed nothing. Would it feel better if the MMM would have showed overall stats from all players? Hard to tell now, since they deleted both our posts, but the 5 guys in question didnt have unicum stats to begin with. 2 of the V-25s (i guess it was the division) had above average WR overall (green), but you couldnt split them up as they were in a division. So how is MM supposed to make an even split with the information at hand? If its not a specific ship, its overall stats on the account... overall stats from the guys with unicum stats in their ships werent unicum. It would be easy if everyone would have hundreds of battles in specific ship to see how they perform in each of em. But this simply doesnt work. First you would need to play that many games, and 2nd unless its a premium / hightier / lowtier sealclubber, majority of people dont need so many games to advance to the next tier (except at T8+9). And if you go by overall stats? well, its still still not the same always. Some ships are better in carrying games than others. If im good in ship A, doesnt mean i can be equally good in ship B, especially if its a different class. Imo its not easy to find a simple solution for this - its too complex.

    sometimes you click somewhere, and the game somehow decides you clicked somewhere else... Happens all the time while mounting flags. Click one, suddenly get another

    The way some "people" play... those must be bots. Alltho WG doesnt fill those slots, its just some lazy people cheating the system basicly. - Being "AFK" until spotted, then suddenly start moving. Ive seen this probably... well not hundreds of times, but several dozens. - Same as above but with CV. Planes start, keep circling the CV, until something is "in range" i suppose.

    AP Penetration and no damage

    Im not sure if there are more lately - i always got lots of em But i suspect if they maybe changed something with the torpedo bulges (at the time they tested guaranteed overpen damage on saturated areas + other parts even when getting penetrations). Feels like you can pen the torpedo bulge, but you get stuck at the main belt armor behind that. Its a layer of 25-32mm or so, and behind that you get >300mm on most BBs. So if you are far away, you will pen the torpedo bulge but shatter on the armor behind it, and the game registers a penetration. Think thats my explanation - whether it was always like that or not, im not sure. But atleast this would make sense...somewhat. @wilkatis_LV knows this stuff better.

    actually i think PEF doesnt really have equal turtleback than other german BBs. Ive citadelled PEF twice now with my PEF (today <1km driveby broadside and the other was midrange little angle afaik) ontop of Flambass' YT vid where he cits PEF (while also playing PEF) at 10km broadside and bow on - how this is even possible... i dunno. But ive seen LOTS of bow on cits lately which should not be possible.
  22. Average player doesnt understand that. They rather survive and fail than die and get 5 stars. Ive actually had guys who deliberately wanted to sabotage OPs... (ramming raptor f.e.), after calling them out for playing like crap. Its crazy what sh**heads are playing this game

  24. Im actually at a point where im avoiding playing OPs with random guys - unless i can complete missions (like PEF steel) then i play it as OPs of the week. Its just better to farm certain OPs with 4-5 guys. Narai can be done with 4 guys, i wouldnt say easily, but doable. And XP is nice that way. Scharnhorst + 2x Fiji + some other BB are the best usually. Fiji just shines because of its heal + torps. Yesterday we did a 4 guy run with 3 PEFs in Killer Whale... and its still 4 stars, unlike random moron teams who just wont enter the exit circle and lose the game

    Or if its a small caliber BB (<386mm guns) , you can just rush him down bow on since he cant overmatch your bow then torp him to death. In any case: Try to get to a position where you can fire AP at broadside targets. Roon and Hindenburg HE isnt much better damage wise. They do however can pen 50mm of armor, so they can hurt BBs at places other 203mm Cruisers cant. Hipper too btw.
