    No, simply because especially T10 ships are so strong that they can punish a mistake so easily. Also pushing is more risky/harder than just holding the position. Noone wants to push because you can receive high damage even from across the map.

    Only because T10 is played with superior numbers, doesnt mean that there are actually 24 ships available at all times. That would increase waiting time across all tiers - WG doesnt want that.

    Z-39 as Forlornsailor said is a great ship. You dont have Cossack btw? How many Guineas you got? You can check how much it would cost you, that should definetely be considered. Cossack is good even when uptiered imo. I think Massachusets can be fun (atleast i hope so too), but probably needs like 18 pt captain 1. Definetely Cossack if you can get it cheaper with Guineas ! 2. Z-39 3. Massa would be my picks

    You can play for me T6, where i got like 100% T8 MM last couple of days if thats more fun? Hint: Its not. T6 vs T8 is MUCH more horrible than T8 vs T10

    I mean, if you dont take Vigilance in the first place, you still wouldnt take it even if the suggested changes would make it into the game. So my initial argument still stands: It doesnt make the skill more usefull, as you will make the decision if you want better torp detection or not.

    I dont think you can define the meta because there is one ship who could do it. And that one is wrong for obvious reasons, it simply has too many gimmicks. Atlanta doesnt have smoke, so he would need a DD to smoke him up. And imo thats good teamplay. Shouldnt Atlanta have really low smoke firing debuff anyway? I mean, its still possible to do this even these days. Take a division, DD smokes to the cap, Radar ship follows. Best suited are ofc US CLs. You can always choose not to shoot if you get detected but still radar the DD.

    I dont go that far, but i will certainly not evade if ill open myself up to enemy broadside shots. Get them pink = get punished = learn? (yes, one can have dreams ) There is still a 80% chance of getting flamed for that, rather that they learn anything

    Try to aim lower than you would, that might do the trick.
  9. Colorado has much better sigma compared to NM. So while you have less shells in the air, the shells are more likely to group around the center of where you were aiming.

    Meant T5 in general. Okto is the worst ship to shoot with an omaha. Simply because its tanky and you cant burn him down either because of his DCP. But other T5 BBs are equally well armored. While on T7 they are much softer overall. Thats why you deal more damage against them. Cant tell how much Omaha you played since you have hidden stats. But i like playing Marblehead which is the same Omaha stats predate IFHE tho. Marblehead should be all games with IFHE if i recall.
  11. Yes, probably just weird people... the Bourgogne even said "WG wants us to win the game" to which i responded "our team wasnt bad enough already?" Oh you should have seen some DDs on our teams today aswell Like the above Kronshtadt game. Daring died ~3 mins into the game to shima torps. Or our Benson while i was playing Fushun, he just went straight through the middle on Estuary, capped enemy B cap, while sitting in smoke ofc. And kept sitting there.... sitting... oh Ognevoi rushed you down BAM dead without doing anything. I asked for his help against an OM Kidd and an Icarus - ofc nothing. Same match our Cossack died aswell like 2,5 mins into the game

    That doesnt make the skill more usefull one bit actually. If someone gets the info "hey, your teammate is torping you" why would i want to pick that skill? Its not my responsibility to avoid incomming torpedoes because someone torped from behind - even using 3 skill pts for that!? And the latter is rather questionable. You most likely hit friendlies because they turn - but its still your own fault for launching those torps. Total waste for 3 points on a DD, only to maybe not torp your friendlies. Unless they are wiggling left and right.
  13. What are soft stats when a target is aiming at you? Cant even imagine anything other than a dispersion debuff if a higher tier ship is shooting you. Nothing else would affect tier difference in any way. Also 350 HP / tier is quite significant for DDs They gain like 15-20% by that. (well, maybe 10% on the lower tiers) Its just pretty much useless on all other ships. But not every skill needs to be viable for every ship.

    T5 BBs are just heavily armored, slow fortresses basicly. You can go for Superstructure or Bow/aft hits and pen them with HE - other than that you will probably only shatter. At T6 you have both. Bayern and Fuso are quite sturdy against HE spam, while QE/NM are more vulnerable (and i believe NOrmandie aswell, but dont recall its armor right now) T7 is thinly armored all the way, except the germans. Colorado, Nagato, KGV - 25mm all over.
  15. What a game We had like 80 points advantage in the end. Luckily shimas ignored the caps for most of the game. But its incredible how sometimes one of your flank collapses, and all the enemies have full HP.... Like the Buffalo i basicly killed by myself. But he already had killed 3 on our team by the time... Also me and Forlornsailor got reported for whatever reason. Probably because he detonated the Bourgogne in the end, which also won the game. Hows that our fault tho? Also in one of my GK games i had 93k spotting damage

    any chance of a ramming rework?

    Ramming damage is already influenced by the speed the targets are hitting each other. Just today i first rammed a CM to death with my PEF, then killed another PEF also by ramming. He was slowly reversing into me. So even if you touch your sides only while fullspeed, you will still die most likely, unless flag or a weaker target. Killed both the PEF and CM with a Ram, and didnt die myself (NM killed me with guns)
  17. I think you just need to aim a bit higher with the sAP than you would with normal AP. Against BBs that is. Dont QE and Warspite have the same dispersion? Only difference is the fuse timer delay imo. Caliber is the same aswell, so you get the same overmatch.

  19. Imo QE has best dispersion from all T6 BBs (atleast the silver ones) UK/US BBs have same elipse, but QE has 2,0 sigma and NM 1,5. Same as fuso, alltho Fuso has better elipse. And lets not start with german/french. They have worse dispersion AND worse sigma. Personaly ive never understood why people dislike the QE - i think its very strong and i like it.

    Well, you can try if you want. Maybe shed some light if its true or not. WG says they dont use it, so... Do you work for WG or how do you know that? They can say whatever they want - doesnt necessarily mean its true. Or do you believe what commercials are telling you also?
  21. QE AP is actually quite good imo. Maybe sAP doesnt citadel BBs as reliable, but it does citadel Cruisers better than standard AP. Dont have much issues with sAP against BBs either tho.

    We are talking about 2 different things: The patent in question is something WG doesnt use according to their own words. But i actually doubt that. Why go through the trouble and not use it? Or maybe they are testing it - who knows? They can do whatever they want afterall.

    If you look at the patent WG has on MM, you will find exactly that. Players are getting rated by battle level, and both teams will be balanced according to that. So the better you are, the worse players will be matched with you to even it out. *tinfoil hat on* This is exactly how it felt in ranked sprint the time i/we played it. Playing solo was manageable. Playing division? Thats when the fun really started, and i started tracking the WR of the players on both teams. Needless to say we basicly had the worst offenders every time on our side. The weird thing is, MM was really decent the last couple of weeks/months, until the maintenance on friday. After that it felt like total butt*ex all along, same way as Ranked sprint. *hat off* We played 3x division and our teams got roflstomped HARD - thats something i havent experienced in a while. Our team was pushing in 1by1 full broadside dieing like flies. DDs not shooting back while getting shot at from enemy DDs. A Cossack with full HP lost to another Cossack with 5k HP dealing 0 damage ?? while the enemy team perfect angling/evading at all times, hiding at islands, retreating when weak, not pushing until the flank was weakend enough.

    AP Penetration and no damage

    I can give you one from a recent game i played, but a training room test might be better With 9:55 left to play, i start shooting the Musashi several times, resulting overall in 7x 0 damage penetrations + 1 normal pen. You can see the shells hitting the waterline, which normaly would shatter/hit the citadel if it would hit the citadel armor, so i have to hit the bulges in order to get penetrations but without damage ofc. 20190120_174404_PRSC509-Kronshtadt_22_tierra_del_fuego.wowsreplay
