Couple of Operations, can farm Major Contribution with new CVs aswell - nothing changed there. Infact, Ranger is better now than old Independence. -

How often do you get a full duration flood on a ship tho... thats the problem. 2 Floods might actually cause more damage than one previously.

Didnt see that, alltho it was there as seen in Forlorns quote But still i think not a good idea. Either way its counter intuitive as you never know what your radar range is.

Im sure you can backup this well though-out claim with Data Ok so, teamplay is certainly not allowed to counter CVs. That includes having strong AA ships, because then one ship would counter you. Why not give CVs nukes then, that would be the easiest solution to what you want them to be. Just have both CVs launch one nuke at the start of the match, CVs get 100% nuke resistance (so they never die ofc), while gathering 100% of the damage sailing around. To get a correct WR for both CV players, both will win the game, while all other 22 players will actually lose. Dont have words for what you are claiming here -

No, i think you still missed what i actually try to say See this example: The game tells him "your planes are currently spotted by a surface ship". So if we look at the minimap, i marked (dont mind my 1337 paint-skills ) the spot where the ship HAS to be in order to spot his planes. This is OUTSIDE of any AA range. What is the plane detection exactly? 8 or 10kms afaik, havent paid much attention to that. Can AA hit you at those ranges? Nope, since you arent spotting the ship either. One might say, skilling for concleament expert is shooting yourself in the foot if the plane detection is too low. And after the AA changes, the detected sign for planes actually has to stay, some people argued that it has to go. Dont think it should go actually (before the latest hotfix i think removing it would have been an option, but not anymore). I try to illustrate it with another picture with my paint-skillz -

1. Exactly, so if you are not behind cover, its your fault isnt it? 2. Well, then we are back to -> you deserve to die. Imo thats very logical in a teamgame. I, personaly, try to help my CVs if a smartass DD tries to go CV hunting. You cant afford to lose a CV, and let it only be because it has the highest impact on the points. So if your team doesnt value you as a CV, then they deserve the loss. 3. Not exactly what i meant, because your planes get detected BEFORE you spot the Ship. So if you see "hey, my planes are spotted after launching from them" that means, something is coming for you Arent they doing 30kts? Ranger used to atleast, maybe Ryujo is a bit slower. If you used to hunt CVs in a BB, doesnt that mean the rest of the team was already dead? Otherwise they could have stopped you Or the CV should have run away in advance. Fact is: WG wanted to have CVs less of an impact on the game. Mission accomplished. However, what thiextar is correctly saying, that the reworke made the game unfun for everyone right now, with CVs and DDs being hit the hardest with the anti-fun-hammer. -
Well duh, if a Khaba is gunboating ships he is already visible... no need to radar him. Ofc its for DDs which dont want to be spotted (thats not exclusive to Torpboats however). Radar is only there to uncover hidden ships, which is also not limited to DDs. Thats why, your proposal is bad. i guess it would mean, that a RN CL in smoke would have a detection up to 14km when radared (not sure what that 15-40% stuff exactly means) (btw a BB with 14 km concealment would have a radar detection from almost 20km with your proposal, or a LM Henri IV without any concealment would be like 25km, just as a hint what you are proposing )

One of the following: - You screwed up, by staying alone where your team cant cover you - Your team screwed up, because they let them through - You screwed up by not noticing that a ship is approaching you. Hello, your planes tell you when they are detected. Why argue about that? If you start your planes, and soon after that they get detected, doesnt that mean that something is close to you ?! Either way, you deserve to die, simple as that If you cant move in time, while being as fast as other ships (except Langley), then git gud. -
Well, most of the time you worked well with your concealment, so thats good Running circles around their base really screwed with their brains i guess Some things to consider/change are ofc still present. - Just use your guns against the Gallant. There was not reason not to. You were 4km apart from each other, and you had help from your Icarus. It was a bit luck that you hit him with a torp, otherwise it might turn out badly. - Imo a bit too aggressive in the beginning. On Midtiers you can get away with it, but if you go higher, it will cost you your life if you are that aggressive. The HuangHe could have caused issues for you, but he chose not to. Basicly that led you to rushing head-on into the gallant, which under normal circumstances is bad for a torpboat. - The fight in the base against the Cruisers was good (and ofc a bit luck, cant deny that^^) - After the Cruisers died you got a bit careless vs the Normandie imo. It was only 3vs2. Since you got a flooding with your first torpsalvo on him, you might have been able to wait in your smoke so he gets closer and basicly get guaranteed torphits. In this instance, your NewYork was spotting for you, so no problem with sitting in the smoke.

Average teammates skills have been somehow nerfed aswell - along with CVs. Im also lacking like ~25% damage output compared to before. Maybe a bit more training and luck it could be possible to get similiar results... but not as easy as before. But seriously, average players are so bad now in OPs.... Can hardly be described as playing anymore. - Hugging border - Shoot HE Cruiser vs Cruiser broadside, but AP at bow on targets (yes, ive seen that from the same person) - Hugging the heal the entire game - Yolo die after 40 secs

With current MM, i think its more likely that you will get T6 than T10. In order to get T10, MM has to find a similiar division (T7 BB + something T8), otherwise it cant punish you. Dirty anchor division -
He couldnt drop us from that angle (island) and i didnt see the squad separating (unless it happened AFTER he passed me) So im not sure on that one.

@Panocek Yesterdays Midway didnt get the news Was @ForlornSailor in his Minotaur and me in Worcester, while the Midway flew his TBs straight into us, without ever dodging. We had both our sectors reinforced, and he lost not a single plane while doing it?! Not sure what happened afterwards, i got distracted by the Asashio coming in from the flank, but i saw the TBs continueing their path away from us (after just flying over our ships). I think Forlorn got the planekills on those - but i didnt Still felt totaly weird...

FIFY. Seriously, if you are spotting a target for your team, its horrible to smoke up because you want to shoot your puny guns. So often DDs tend to lay big fat smoke screens between their own team and one target, breaking the vision from YOUR OWN TEAM. Worst case is, an enemy DD somewhere else can still spot some of your ships, so your team is now blind (since you smoked up yourself and blocked the others from seeing aswell) while even getting spotted from something else Sure there are cases where you can smoke up and shoot the target - but its not a general rule of thumb. And either way, NEVER break vision for your team in the process!

Believe me - same tier MM will be equally bad (if not worse) for you... If you would play T10, your performance would be even worse, atleast your WR. You are lucky you dont have to contribute as much in a T8 ship. But if you would be T10, you would do MUCH more. This is equal for same tier MM btw. -
I think would be great... there was nothing wrong with RTS CVs, except that majority of people didnt bother speccing for AA. They just blamed their own retard CV for no air cover. And ofc the small detail that not enough players didnt go for RTS gameplay... that was bad for WG ofc

why would you play a DD like that? Just pick a Cruiser then - would be 100x times better. And to B) well, the enemy team can see the DD aswell you know?`Thats the problem.

So you would be fine if CVs couldnt counter BBs as good? CVs should/could spot DDs imo, but not delete them. Good RTS CV players could slaughter DDs at will basicly, and it was bad. CVs should be able to kill lone BBs, thats one thing. You simply cant have both: Spot everything and just pick your target you want to kill. Thats not balanced. And people who ignore how valuable spotting is havent understood the game properly

Guess you were there eh? Also id like you to show me the permanent hydro RN CLs... dont exist in my game. Ofc if one is a little potato, they might randomly pop hydro without a reason to do so, so they dont have hydro when they need it

Conqueror has already 2,0% heal per second, unlike Monarch which currently has 0,5% standard reapair party. Monarch will get 0,6% and 120 second cooldown on repair party as an additional buff.
