I dont see a problem with it?
-
Yep, happened to me with Cleveland also today. No others so far for me.
-
No, you are wrong here. People who come to the forum asking for advice in a normal/calm manner, they WILL always get help, in a constructive way without being insulted. Other people, who come to the forums to vent and start throwing insults (troll accusations) around, will get a response equal to their own He litereally did so in his opening post... Why? Dunno. He just asks for it, so he gets proven right (why anyone would want this is beyond me tho)
-
Ye well, thats true ofc. For DWTs id do it too (asashio f.e.), because you hardly spot them. But ive seen people pop hydro despite all torps being accounted for. Maybe they dont know how many torps could potentially come
-
Most people tend to pop hydro just AFTER the torps are already spotted Thats basicly 1+ minute where certainly NO torps will be coming, unless there are several DDs ahead (which is ofc not always the case)
-
I occasionally press the wrong consumable, because we cant have unified consumables ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Yes, i was thinking the same thing!!! I see them pop Radar for totaly no reasons. Seattle using Radar? While im a Kutuzov and NOT spotted? Why you pop radar
-
Oh cmon... what a team. Half lemminged A (which wasnt even that bad), but our Cruisers were like "NOO LEMMING TRAIN, YOLO DIE" then we were 3 ships down, then 5.... managed to get a bit back, but team was just stupid overall

30 Planekills done in one go And otherwise a nice game aswell. Had a 140k Kutuzov game after that, but team was stupid and was a loss.... -
Did they reduce the exp/credits gain?
DFens_666 replied to anonym_RGvUdEcxWWvD's topic in General Discussion
I had 325k damage that game, mostly on Lowtier Cruisers/BBs (as it is Narai Operation). Fiji had ~211k damage, mostly on DDs and the Convoy ships, still he had more BaseXP that I. -
Fiji is one of the best Silver Cruisers in the game Also its easier because people cant smoke shoot as good as they can on hightiers.
-
The mission is only for those who buy Exeter. Otherwise, if you want to get it 4 free, the last stage will only be available after the 22.
-
The air supply container can have a mission chain where you can get the Edinburgh... guess that happened here.

Ive seen so many premium newbies, ive lost count over the years Ranges from everywhere: - YOLO in and die - Hide somewhere in the corner/behind an island - Shoots at friendlies

Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance
DFens_666 replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
Funny thing when we have been playing T10 Div lately, usually our T8-9 ships are the biggest [edited], they just die within 4 mins or are otherwise completely useless... Most likely because of the same attitude "ah T10 MM again ima just die and go to next battle" Great fun. same tier MM would be even worse for bad players, but since they dont accnowledge that they are bad, they ofc think the opposite. -
2 of those you atleast won... i failed with 28 XP at 1550 while losing a battle
-
When your teams are like The Musashi game: - Donskoi without camo, totaly useless. Basicly sailed 4km next to the shima (the one with 6 kills) ignoring him and shooting HE at a BB. - Harugumo did nothing. Didnt engage the Shima, didnt spot, then openwater gunboating vs Tirpitz when our division was spotting it (and dieing ofc). - Buffalo yoloed into cap, dead within 2,5 mins. - Bismarck got torped point blank range by the Shima, because Minimap? and Hydro? Can i eatz dat? - Gearing was first blood, actually died before the Buffalo - Saipan totaly useless (why are the useless CVs still on my team?...) - Kitakaze also useless died to a torp AFAIK. The GK game: - Missouri dead after couple of mins (like how?) - Chung Mu sat in spawn, then got rushed by Kitakaze - Yamato beached on an island, 15-20km away from the closest enemy Meanwhile the enemies are ofc total superunicums, making blindshots based on the minimap in the cyclone and 3x BB div ofc just facerolling our team, because when i have a 3x BB div in my team, they are total noobs, but on the enemy team they just slaughter everyone And they killed our Mino with blindfire into smoke, while i was the only one doing it to their mino (which got me 2 cits).

Can USN CAs(heavy cruisers) get a buff or something?
DFens_666 replied to Nasty_Ninja's topic in General Discussion
1. Imo that wouldnt be a good move... might be able to citadel BBs then (like DM can). 2. Faster DCP would be a gimmicky buff without any real value. Heal = please no... Then all ships needs to be rebalanced so everyone gets a heal imo. 3. Uhm... how about no? US CAs all have a range ~16km (you can go further on T9+10 with the range module), so i dont think it makes sense to artifitially buff it for T6+7 and then go back to 16km on T8+. Also they are horrible fighting at that ranges anyway. 4. Well, IJN CAs got a dispersion buff recently, maybe they could do something else for US CAs (on midtiers that is) 5. Thats again a bad option imo. There are certain thresholds for armor values, either it does nothing, or it might do too much. Myoko has 32mm deck, so it can bounce BB shells, but every other part gets overmatched by most/all BB shells. And US CAs do have a smaller citadel then most other ships (well pepsicola probably not), but f.e. Shchors and Myoko have higher/bigger Cits than NO. 6. Personaly, i think it would help if we would introduce a light radar version on midtiers. Would prepare people for hightier radar better, because suddenly you get tons of ships with radar and longrange too. 7. See at 5. Maybe Pepsicola, but NO imo not. Atleast for Indianapolis i can say, its not the best cruiser on T7 - far from it. It has to pay for having Radar pretty much. In a Division, it can work imo. NO is pretty strong when you are able to use islands to your advantage. Played only a couple of games in it, but the last one was good and it showed it has potential. The guns are good, but you need to work around the squishyness. Maybe its a bit worse for Pepsicola, cant tell. NO = doesnt need a buff imo Indianapolis = maybe a small buff (reload?) Pensacola = not sure, its very squishy, but so are other Cruisers on that tier. -

So much happened in 5 battles... ups and downs today. Sometimes your team is so horrible they dont do anything. But that goes into another thread, here for the good stuff Had to be Torpmagnet in this battle and the one before (which was a loss sadly) since atleast i can dodge em, unlike random teammates. Again 100k spotting damage, this time in Musashi. I feel my role is upside down. But i couldnt really tank much, i just got chipped to death by constantly being set on fire (why am i running FP+BOS? cant tell), and the FDG also shooting HE at me. Sadly, the devstrikes were useless with the GK... was a loss in the end because team got stuck on C, then nothing happened anymore, just got farmed. I wanted to stay at B and then rush the broadsides in the cyclone, but that didnt work after our Chung Mu died to the Kitakaze and i had to run towards C aswell. When the game screws you over: Broadside GK 6 pens 6500 damage... i get 30k in return -
How many TBs per squad?
-
This is very similiar, but not the same. It would still be way faster/easier to park your squads at 10km from the ship, than to let them fly back to the CV (and start from there again).
-
No, Hakuryu had 4 torp bombers per squad, like all IJN CVs had. And Haku had 3 TB Squads. If you took all 12 torps, then it might be possible to receive that amount of damage. But then it most likely was not a Crossdrop, just all 3 squads attacked from one side. Thats kinda the problem: If you make them too easy, people will sealclub on lowertiers... Thats why they nerfed RTS CVs on T4-5 back in the days, because too many people were sealclubbing. This actually did hurt new CV players even more simply because it was harder for them to learn Alt-attack at T6. Basicly the OP did, which i quoted. You then took my quote and disagreed Alltho looking at it afterwards, maybe he didnt want both changes at the same time. Still you cant be able to use 1/4 of your strikeforce, demand to get a strike through while the other 3/4 are sitting in safety. Then we would need more AA fortresses which would be immune to being dropped actually, and that would be bad for the game.
-
No, because if you would scale AA down to a level, where you dont lose any plane anymore, then you could have 4 strikewaves which are basicly guaranteed to go through. Also you could trigger DCP even easier than ever before. Simply wait outside of the AA. With RTS CVs this worked only vs low AA ships, while strong AA ships would easily shred one incomming squad.
-
FTFY When some CV players are able to strike Minos and Worcesters with DefAA, i rather start to think that its a l2p issue. 3x4 = 12 torps, not 20. And the crossdrop was only deadly to DDs, for CAs and BBs the alpha power of such a strike was too low to kill them, because you could still dodge half of em (even more with defAA active and focusing the squad you will turn out to) Sure, then we lower the damage output from CVs by the same amount and we are good to go. Actually, thats most likely the only way to make CVs fun to play, but it will also remove the skillgap in the process basicly. In that case, you would actually need to Buff AA ...
