Aaaand still wrong WG has gotten a total 0,89€ from me, thats because i bought Cossack. Have not spent any more money ever in this game... You dont have to spent any money in this game to be good. But you will need time to learn. Buying a T8 premium ship does not make you a good player for example.

People who play with their friends and want to have fun... what cowards these people must be Nope, because PR is too focused on damage (and kills). You can sit in the back, being a detriment to your team while farming HE damage in your BB. For a good picture: Just look at all the stats available and it will show.

When do the midway HE dive bombers finally get nerfed?
DFens_666 replied to Colonel_Boom's topic in General Discussion
Maybe CV players should need to change the altitude themselves and also initiate the bombrun that way. So we can see them crashing into Islands, Ships and into the water Every ship has yamato torpedo protection now? Its like 1 (2 Musashi ofc) in 300~ Pre-Rework, they needed several minutes to get this kinda drop done (start -> fly -> get into position -> fly back and start again), Then you could go for the next target. There are literally vids around now, where a CV bombs one DD, kills it, goes to 2nd DD and kills that aswell... How could RTS CVs ever achieve that, if they had to fly back in between. Because playing a DD sitting with his CAs/BBs is as useful as being AFK? And then we whine about 20km Shima players, when that would be the most useful thing to help your team in that situation My personal stand is, that the best players in each class should roughly be able to achieve same results. Best CV players easily outperform best players in DD/BB/CA (higher WR, more damage, more kills). From my own view, CVs shouldnt be first simply because they have the spotting advantage too. Thats why we see all the problems now, and also why average players have to suffer. Either limit the spotting severely, or cut the damage down while making it easier to apply (less skill gap) First option would help couterplay CVs more, because Cruisers would be able to support their DDs with AA, the latter would decrease the skill gap between good and bad players, which would be positive imo. This is balanced by BBs having slower reload than CAs and a lower Hitrate. BBs can deal more damage per salvo, but CAs have better DPM 1. Ofc people whine about that But seriously, there are other counterplay options available for what you say CAs can hide from BBs, or try to dodge shells, or try to somewhat angle to migitate the damage. CAs hiding from a CV is actually helping the CV. Because he can get closer to the target without being in his AA. If he is not hiding, then he opens himself up to being blasted by a BB, like you just said aswell. DDs devstriking stuff with torps... you have 8,32% Torpedo hitrate, enough to counter the illusion that DDs devstrike everything at will? Even if a CA/BB/DD is alone in your situation, they have the same counterplay options available. DDs get told to stick with the fleet -> no fleet around = no counterplay CAs sitting behing an Island? Even better for the CV BBs alone... ye well, they probably survive the longest but will still die at some point. Obviously not hard enough for the best players Thats why i said earlier, skill gap needs to be decreased. that means, the best players need to be tuned down, while making it easier for the average players. This can only be achieved by reducing the possible damage output. Win for average CV players, because its easier for them Win for surface ships, because they cant be farmed so hard by (super Unicum) CVs Loss for Super Unicum CVs... cant have everything Truth is tho, majority would be happy with a change like that. -
buff midways flooding chance and torp damage
DFens_666 replied to Mr_Snoww's topic in General Discussion
Just have to scale the damage down, and make it so, that average players can apply that damage too -> problem solved. I mean, we will have a no skill class then, but cant have everything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -

DFens_666 replied to Colonel_Boom's topic in General Discussion
Midway dealing >200k is balanced? @ OP agreed. But since the skill gap is still too big (bad CV players basicly cant achieve anything), i think just continous nerfing is not something WG can do, even tho its necessary for what the best players can achieve right now. -

Because HE bombs can deal >10k damage? Big surprise, Super Unicum CVs can still kill DDs/Cruisers really fast Only because people think, RTS CVs could do it in one drop (using several squads), doesnt mean its slower than before. Cycling through all squads in a RTS CV took so much time (start them, get to your target, fly back and start again AND having to think about the enemy CV) while now its just, start squad, bomb, bomb, bomb, next squad and next target. A single drop might deal less damage, but you can apply that damage more often. As you can see, now best CV players deal >200k average damage per game. They dont deal 100k or 300k - they just deal 200k every match.

CV rework, CV returns - Tier 1 ship XP is wasted for experienced players
DFens_666 replied to AirSupremacy's topic in General Discussion
I think its ok the way it is now. Otherwise, it would be easier to skip "bad" (whether they are bad or the player just doesnt like it is irrelevant here) ships and play the previous one which is more fun. Lets take Amagi -> Izumo -> Yamato as an example BEFORE Izumo got buffed recently. Most people didnt like Izumo, and used FreeXP to skip it. If you could use Amagis XP (or any other before that), to skip Izumo, it would have been way easier, so you could use the FreeXP for something else. On another hand, people use money (doubloons) so they can convert elite XP to FreeXP, so its one income for WG aswell. From my personal pov, i think its ok because i dont need to convert FreeXP, i can live with the amount i get from playing the game. So you did sell the CVs through the Inventory? If you would sell them like normal ships in port, you wouldnt lose the researched status, But ofc you get only half the price back like any other ship. Either way, i dont know why you would re-research the CVs several times?- 27 replies

DFens_666 replied to AirSupremacy's topic in General Discussion
Every CV researched after the rework would not give you your FreeXP back. That should have been clear. And that you cant research ships with ship XP which are further behind in the same nation has always been like that. "next tier shipS" means, that you might be able to research several ships in the next (or same) tier, like from Chester you go to St. Louis and Sampson. Thats 2 shipS to research. What you mean would be written like this "next tierS shipS" -> then it would include several tiers down the line.- 27 replies

I dont think, WG will release techtree BBs on T2, because it seems very logical to me, that on every new tier you get a new class T1 Cruisers only T2 DD line starting T3 BB line starting T4 CV line starting So they might release T2 premium BBs but... i dont think that its worth for WG to invest time to make some cheap lowtier premiums.

One coop game - was the funniest crap of the day (Randoms and Ops are horrible...) Now it gets even better I think without friendly fire he would have survived that Tirpitz torp because he took it in the bow section Misc stuff happening in the same game 1. Super last second dodge from the Bot, glorious skills dodging those 3km torps 2. Bismarck spamming HE 3. And he keeps on shooting HE at an Edinburgh now -
Maybe should make a vote then WG sees what the community wants... Guess they wouldnt care anyway, S_O will tell us how we are wrong and whats the reasoning to allow 2 CVs per side

The normal Premium account works for all WG games, but for WoWs we have a special premium account now. Same price as the other one was before, but if you are only playing WoWs, you get a little extra out of it.

Really depends on the ship and class im playing... But mostly i rate damage as my personal fun factor (except winning ofc). Ofc a high damage game without a kill feels a bit "meh" but atleast you had good damage. Sometimes, a low damage game can still be satisfactory afterwards, if i managed to have a high place in the XP table. Usually it means, that I still did good compared to my other teammates, because the enemies were just really bad. Its a bit of everything, but if you get good damage, it means you had those "wow moments" (with BBs good RNG devstrike, or DDs with a good torpedo salvo), they increase the fun factor.

Why would anyone play these support CVs is my biggest question? (leaving aside 3x Unicum WR statpadding divisions to remove the other CV and focus on ships that can deal reliable damage)

Has anybody else had shells falling short?
DFens_666 replied to FixCVs_Nautical_Metaphor's topic in General Discussion
Yes happened to me aswell, seen it happen to others. I always feel, it happens when you go into binocular view and shoot right away. Shells just go somewhere... Even had shells going waaaay to far that way, but this has happening for a longer time, not limited to the last patch. -
Have you started using the "Juliet Yankee Bissotwo" Combat Signal with new flooding mechanics?
DFens_666 replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Use it all the time on BBs now since ive switched almost all builds to FP+BoS anyway (and ofc the anti fire/flood module), it stacks really nicely. Even had one flood running through because i was getting HE spammed at the same time, and i thought i would DCP it IF i get a fire (which i didnt), so i let it flood. (And the CV was around too) Whats the flooding time, like 22 secs or so? You get 11% damage from your max HP... hardly worth using DCP for now, unless you get engine/rudder damage aswell. -
How likely would it be, that you have to use Radar in open water to spot another BB - while being in a BB yourself. The times ive seen Flamu play the RU BBs, every time he used radar was against BBs/CVs being behind islands.
-
Just because of that, i like Radar as it is. Because it means, i can help my team with it. And this is not limited to DDs, you can radar everything else to help your team. Quite frankly, the 15km RU BB radar with LoS would seem really retarded

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
DFens_666 replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Was really a meh game today Couple of games, enemies folded so fast i couldnt do anything, and once our team folded so fast that we just got facerolled, but 2 games were ok. Could have gotten waaaay more damage (all BBs basicly alive) but we got 1k points. Says a lot what those BBs were doing -
This gets even worse now with the new WoWs premium account. We have 3 different values: Standard without Premium Old/Normal Premium x1,5 New WoWs premiums x1,65 Basicly you can guess which amounts of XP are earned with Premium, and which not. 5548 with 1,65 modifier would be 3326 Base XP or with 1,5 modifier 3698 base XP.

Selecting Co-Op battles and getting into randoms
DFens_666 replied to BrusilovX's topic in General Discussion
Did you just press continue battle without going back to port after the Coop game was over? I think that bug has been around forever. It puts you into a random game for some odd reason. (not sure if every time, but it can happen)
