    Nah, not uncommon, and definetely not only on RU BBs. Turrets tend to eat damage. RU BBs have especially strong turrets, so they take quite a beating before you can knock em out. Torpedo bulges eat damage aswell, if you cant penetrate the belt armor behind that. French BBs eat TONS of penetrations. In the end, its only down to what the game is telling us, that makes it basicly worse than it actually would be. We wouldnt feel betrayed if the game told us, we shattered^^ Probably other stuff aswell.

    Do we need new achievements?

    I dont think we need more kill-based achievements. But i think, they should first look at some of the old achievements (like liquidator, which is pretty much impossible to get these days after the flooding change). Its not like, the reward for Liquidator is so outstanding that it warrents it being almost impossible to achieve. Same reason, Witherer might be reduced to 50k damage imo. Because its flooding/fire based, and flooding damage got severely reduced. Unsinkable seems to be equally questionable now, because you need to receive 40% of flooding damage... I think even before the flooding nerf it was extremely rare to get one, as i never got one myself. Then they could maybe make some new achievements: - Defending - like 10-15 ribbons maybe? - Spotting - that would maybe need to scale with tier/class, seeing how T10 CV can get more spotting done than a T5 Cruiser. Not sure if they would do something like that. - Tanking - again, would be tier/class dependant. BCs are a problem tho, as they can take a harder beating than normal Cruisers.

    Let me spare you the time: They wont answer here. On the other hand, there was some news about CV changes on reddit recently. What they are doing however - they didnt say. At this point, i dont even know what they are going to do. However, its very unlikely that they will make drastic changes (yet). I think quitting the game (along with stop giving them money) is a viable option at this point. That way, they might learn that they need to do something drastic

    We need more skills which are equally viable to use. F.e. secondary BBs either dont work on majority of BBs (because the secondaries are crap to begin with) or the build itself is not necessaricy as good as a tank build. Or then you have skills like IFHE, which are 99% useless or must have, and 1% is optional for one specific build (secondary massa is one basicly). Cruisers only need 10 points most of the time anyway (unless they need IFHE). After that, its almost irrelevant what they skill. RN CLs can basicly go for AA, which also is a problem with the Smoke screen expert skill (and the special smoke screen generator mod AND for minotaur the legendary module... they are all crap for those ships). They are just WORSE than taking any other skill or module. It only shows, WG doesnt have a [edited]clue whats going on in their game. They make dumb skills/modules, and expect us to use them.... so the ships become worse to play!? I Dont get it.

  6. When silver ships are better than premiums Isnt Indianapolis the only premium which had its radar range buffed? Missouri, Black, Salem all stayed the same. And ofc Alaska got 10km because why not (well, Black is atleast consistent with other Radar DDs... but unified radar is clearly not the case, when we have 8,5 - 9 - 9,5 - 10km)

    Just shows that WG neither reduced the skillgap between CV players, nor did they even try to do that (which they openly admitted). Bad players fail even harder than before. I think, a lot of people didnt like the RTS part of the old CVs, thats why they hated them. Suddenly that changed, and they became biggest CV fanboys Proof? Forums... some streamers i watch... Even RTS CV players admitted that something needs to change, but WG only did things which made it worse (AP bombs). I was also saying, that old CVs needed some changes. But this only made it worse, atleast when i look at my fun playing the game now. And id say, not everybody is moaning because they cant adapt - some things are off balance, but the biggest problem i have, is just that its no fun to play anymore due to the meta change.

    Doesnt matter (btw the other is 65%). Since we can assume, the same amount (% based) of people are running premium time regardless if they play CVs or any other class, its an indicator, that CVs can do more "important" jobs which win the game, i.e. they can deal more damage to DDs, which yields more XP. Also decapping became much easier for CVs than with old CVs. Old CVs couldnt infinetly reset a ship from capping, because their squad turnover took too long. And if they would have moved in with one squad at a time, AA ships would have shot them down before they could do a reset. Also, if you look at average damage, you also have to include average kills. Something like Conq has high average damage, but low average kills, thus they are useless damage farmers most of the time. CVs have high average damage, and high average kills, so they make their damage count. And btw, Bourgogne is very much OP. The reason, nobody is whining about is, because CCs like Flamu doesnt say its OP. Flamu said, Stalin is OP and everyone keeps whining about it. Bourgogne is much stronger, and nobody opens their mouth. Frankly, i dont care about it, so i dont see a reason to do it. But when i see how vocal people were (and still are) about Stalingrad, its a joke that nobody of them ever targeted the Bourgogne. Anyway, lets not derail this any further, it was about DefAA, not about ship stats. Ive thought about changes to DefAA aswell. Imo the biggest problem is, that you cant really help your teammates with AA, compared to pre-rework, where a strong AA ship was helping with AA in a bigger radius. Maybe DefAA could apply a buff for other ships in its radius, that strengthens their AA aswell? If you are further away, you get a small buff, but if you are closer, you get a bigger buff.

    He is serious tho. Tracked XP is only increased by Premium Account - nothing else. Whatever you stack is no included in tracked stats. Unless you wanna tell me, that every CV player is running premium account, compared to other class players, which ofc doesnt make any sense, then CVs do earn more XP than the other classes. At the same time, CVs basicly got immune to (certain) Cruisers. Try to damage a CV hull in your mino if angled. Or try to burn him down with Wooster HE. Basicly impossible unless you get close enough to not shatter on the armored deck. So if anything, they need to be more immune to planes, because the hull became more resilient aswell

    Yeah, please keep that up. Hopefully, people will quit the game and WG is forced to do something. 1. you admit its broken 2. People are not Borg, if SOMEONE wanted the rework, doesnt automatically mean EVERYONE wanted a rework. And for sure nobody wanted that. Either way, doesnt matter what we want, WG wanted to sell more CVs. Only way to sell more CVs, is to get people to play CVs. RTS CVs were not popular because being RTS. Now its different, more people like it = more money for WG.

    Happened to me aswell in old Cleveland vs some BB. Had like 10k HP left, BB hit my superstructure -> poof dead. No, doesnt count as a citadel. @Saltface I dunno if module damage is totaly random or what we see is not real. However, we tested 3 people (shooter, target, spectator), and all 3 people see the shells hitting at the same place so... who knows? Sometimes you can experience losing a turret, where the shells never actually hit you. Like you get hit in the front, and your backturret gets incapacitatated

    I dont think thats true, because [edited] literally used DefAA on anything (ask @El2aZeR ) or they dont have DefAA to begin with. That way, even DMs/Salems died easily to AP bombs, because they used DefAA on a TB squad f.e. 40 secs later they were dead. The difference ofc is, that now is only 1 squad around, while before there were several, so it was easier to execute. Aslong as i can play more aggressive again, i would be totaly fine. Would make the game fun again for me. Which i blatantly admit, since the only ones having fun are CV players nowadays
  13. yeah same thing ? F.e. i launch a fighter with my Marblehead, it can kill 2 bombers, then they disappear and Fighter consumable is on Cooldown.
  14. Fighters kill the amount of planes that they have themselves, i.e. you have 4 fighters -> they kill 4 enemy planes, i think

    My feelings about the game.

    I think atleast some T7 DDs need their concealment looked at, mainly Mahan and Maass i think. (maybe some premiums like Blyska if i recall correctly). 5,8km vs 5,4km is imo workable, while something like 6,8km vs 5,4km is basicly impossible, if the IJN DD is not a full blown retard. But with couple hundred meters concealment you can spot the enemy DD without getting into too much trouble. At the same time, this wouldnt break the balance between 5 and 7 too much either i think. Afterall, you are lowtier -2, you should have a harder time. Doesnt matter too much, since its usually a DD which does the spotting, not another Cruiser or BB. Thats why, BBs with better concealment than cruisers is 99% irrelevant, and i would like see it being changed out of principle, and to remove the 1% where the BB gets an advantage out of it. But ive said it before: T8 vs T10 is really not that big of a deal (mostly annoying since it happens quite often tho), while T7 vs T9 is horrible, and T6 vs T8 is straight up getting raped

    Hmm, it used to be at 4am in my timezone (Finland), which would make it 2am over in your timezone. Maybe that changed when we switched to summer time, which would make it an hour later than before? Honestly, im not 100% sure on that one, but i do know it usually was at 4am. maybe @MrConway @Crysantos can clear that one up?

    Not with retard WG i suppose? *cough* RN BBs with better concealment than Cruisers. Because WG goes with the height of the ships. Look at IJN Cruisers, they seem to be flat compared to other Cruisers, thus having better concealment. Which imo is totaly retarded, but hey, we are talking about WG after all I think the BCs are more scary against other Cruisers on longrange due to their gun characteristics. Like, a Wooster can handle an Alaska better at midrange than a DM. DM has such a fast reload with same AP angles, it will out DPM or citadel you with AP. With slow reloading BCs, you can wiggle in and out to use all turrets with every other Cruiser, so you will out-DPM them with HE. If necessary, you can go stealth aswell. Ive tried Hindenburg 1v1 vs Stalingrad in training room, and if Hindi is kiting, its not even a competition, it will easily win that one. Ofc in randoms its hard to compare that, since they can attack you from an angle which you might not expect, and it will take longer to dislodge them from their position. Id say, Kronshtadt is extremely vulnerable to >430mm caliber BBs. Azuma has a huge citadel. Alaska is actually better armored, as devstriking them seems kinda hard, due to the lower citadel.
  18. Ive been wondering if thats actually true. I had a bad game with Wooster once, but tons of planekills, and XP was much higher than id expected for my damage, even more so since i basicly got most of my damage on BBs if i recall correctly.
  19. If WG would come up with better maps probably. If anything, they make it worse, like new Shards map. I liked to play Old version of it... but new version is so horrible because of all the windowlickers They go to the place with the most islands and get stuck there, because surviving is THE MOST important thing in the entire game for them. If you lose, you should just get detonated at the end of the game, so those idiots might understand its futile to survive when you lost the game.

    Ask my Pyotr Velikiy from today. Rushes into B -> devstrike from full HP by NM Basicly any broadside you can citadel them quite easily. @Butterdoll you can get missions from the Soviet containers (premium/standard) for T5-8 ships. Next patch they will be in the game anyway tho.

    Yes, you dont lose anything. If your captain has 10 skill points, he will have 10 with the same skills after you switch ships. How long it will take to retrain, depends on which level your captain is. The higher, the longer it will take. Also depends, how many XP/Captain XP modifiers you stack during that time.

    You can put your Bismarck captain on the FDG, but you need to retrain it first, which will either cost credits/Elite Commander XP/playing a couple of games, during which the skills will only do 50% of what they normaly do (skills that are either on or off are off for that period). Or you can pay 500 doubloons, so retraining is complete right away. 2. The captain will have the same skills as before - nothing changes. 3. No, you have to retrain him again. You can use any captain on a PREMIUM ship without retraining him. But a captain can only be trained for one techtree ship. So if you would have a Tirpitz, you could use the same captain for it and the FDG. But for Bismarck and FDG you need 2 seperate captains (unless you really like to throw money into the game, which i dont think is advisebale).

    Poll: Permacamo or special signals?

    Actually, i wont make extra effort to get the Minsk camo, because not long ago we already got one I find it quite uninteresting to have SEVERAL camos for one ship - and they all give the same Boni!! (ontop of this month: i dont even have a Leningrad). WG could really make camos with different boni, like one is XP focused and others could be credits/Free XP/Captain XP... then you could choose what to go for. But now its only, how my ship is looking
