    If you are talking about planes not spotting for themselves, then yes, that would be pretty bad. I for one meant always, planes do only spot for themselves. While i was against it at first, because it must be shown on the minimap, so good players can profit from that very much, but it would still be better overall i believe. Even average players would profit from that, since they could focus on dodging the CV, and not getting slaughtered by something else in the process.

First 2 are pretty exclusive to good players (first one even more than the 2nd). Naturally, they have more damage than other ships. Conqueror consists mostly of fire damage. Thats why ive always used the arguement, CVs need to lose their spotting Then i dont see a problem with having high average damage.

    And why should they have as much damage as BBs? Afterall, BBs basicly cant spot most of their targets by themselves

    Old CVs basicly couldnt touch an AA specced Cruiser running DefAA. Even if he threw all his planes into one attack, getting a strike through was almost impossible, and the damage was minimal at best. Now? Turn on DefAA -> CV gets a strike through. When DefAA in on CD, CV will strike again, most likely even 2 times with the same squad. And lets not forget: Its MUCH easier since there is no panic from DefAA anymore. Either it made evading easier (torpbombs) or hitting highly improbable (bombs). And he couldnt attack you again while DefAA was on CD.

    O-marks the spot is your friend in that situation. Its kinda funny being undetected in the flank of opponents, shooting at 9km in their broadside citadelling them In general however, im not a big fan of those whether effects

    CV spotting is the biggest issue imo. Most of the time, you could evade CV attacks, but the result will be a harsh punishment by anything else which is in range. Especially at T10, where a CV strike also hurts. So you have 2 options: Dont evade, take the punishment from CV, which can be pretty bad, or take an unfavorable turn which can be even worse. A Cruiser which is spotted by a CV has to dodge somewhere, since BBs most likely have the range to hit you. Even if the CV is not attacking the Cruiser in the first place. DDs spotted by a CV is ofc a problem aswell, since many people will take a potshot at that DD. If the DD wouldnt be spotted, he could focus more on evading the CV attack. BBs suffer the least, since they are furthest behind anyway, and take also the lowest damage (best torpedobelt, best armor). And they dont mind being spotted as much anyway. Balancing would be much easier, if they would remove spotting. WG will try anything else, because they are dumb as usual.

    A 4v4 game with 1 CV wouldnt even be half as bad as a 6v6 game with 3 CVs tho... so the petition would be, limit CVs, if Surface ships are not at maximum. In a 12v12 game, 3 CVs are already horrible. But that still means, for 3 surface ship is 1 CV in the game. So if there are only 3 Surface ships in a game, then there can only be 1 CV. If you wanna play CV, and there are >10 CVs in the queue, then [edited]it, play something else or wait. Its a problem of this very class, which enhances problems the more are in one game, and adding to these problems are matches with less than 24 players in it.

    That doesnt change that those matches are happening right now. If he can reach T5 with protected MM (i have no idea how long it stays protected) and then meet T6 CVs, hows that gonna help him? T4 CVs arent strong - i agree with that. But it still doesnt make it acceptable to have to play a 6v6, half of them being CVs. Might aswell make CV only battles, and let them slug it out

    WTF are you talking about... they play T3 ffs! Do you know lowtier AA? How is a NEW player supposed to BUFF his AA ?! with what, imaginary 19 point captains. Please stop with your automated answers and look what the OP is presenting with hard facts aka screenshots. 1. Not everyone can play during prime time, some have to play at off hours. They are allowed to have normal matches aswell, without hordes of CVs ruining the game. 2. see above 3. see above 4. dont know if thats possible in a 6 CV game with additional 3 surface ships per side

    If you mean FP, the biggest buff is getting only one fire on your superstructure. A lot of player keep shooting this, because its easy to hit, and deals more reliable damage. So most of the time, you are running around with one fire, which is not a problem. Im one of those, that has never gotten a ship from a SC. And i did get my fair share of SCs imo. On the other hand, i got 2 ships by winning "real" lotteries, the 3 years WG anniversary got me a Kutuzov, and in forums the Xmas thingy got me a Massa (also from WG ) Did get a NC from one of those crates which had one some time ago... But i was at Colorado anyway and its a silver ship so...

    As we can see, that wasnt the classes fault, but the implementation being RTS. If MM has to put 6 CVs in one game, then there is a problem with popularity imo. The problem is, that for every CV, there are less surface ships in the game. For every CV added, we would need MORE surface ships to keep the balance up. Basicly the further you are away, the better is the dispersion. Ive seen some "closer" (10-12 km) engagements, and the dispersion is BB like. Shoot 20+km and aim well, you can land 7-8 out of 9 shells With insane penetration ontop, while only having 406mm IIRC. Some of them definetely are And ofc the tier difference problem... and having up to 3 CVs in a game 2 Toptier T8 CVs is pretty much horrible experience. Lucky we got mostly rid of 2 CVs at TX.

    Why is being popular a good thing?! Would you say, current version of Pobeda (slava) would be popular? I think we can agree on: Hell yeah. So i guess, Pobeda would be a good addition to the game in your book?... Only because something is popular, doesnt mean its good for the game. Most likely its the opposite actually, thats why its popular in the first place. Well, not as much for new CVs, as most people didnt like RTS, even if they might have liked to play CVs

    Since the BB AP change on DDs, i feel that an opportunistic shot at a DD is worse, than a broadside volley against a Cruiser, especially if it has Radar. Cruisers try to kill your own DDs, so if you take them out, it also makes life easier for your own DDs. However, making potshots at enemy BBs is most likely the most useless way to play a BB. If you have 30 sec reload in between, you can miss out on shots at a DD or a broadside Cruiser. Its useless damage farming. So knowing WHEN to hold your fire can make a difference aswell. The more often you can make your shots count, the more useful damage you will get, and you will get more kills and higher WR. well, if you play secondary Yamato and struggle with it, wouldnt it be better to try something else? I recommend http://shipcomrade.com/captcalc/1000000000100010100001000100000119 which im running on my Musashi (well, i have PM instead of PT because its Yamamoto, but i might change it) I like my Musashi, and i wouldnt say, not taking risks, but taking too much risk will probably get you killed fast. Id say you need good map awareness to know what moves you can do.

    I think its highly improbable, to get poor results and have a good WR. DDs can get away with it, if they manage to kill the enemy DD, take caps and force all others away by their torpedo threat, without actually hitting them. Alltho, this has changed with CW rework imo, because CV can just kill/spot the DD too. Cruisers define themselves mostly by staying alive and dealing damage. The ones with Radar can also influence the game without dealing too much damage. While i wouldnt say, BBs first priority is dealing damage either, its most certainly necessary. BBs need proper positioning, and knowledge when to use their HP pool. Making a push at the right time can give you a victory IF your team is able to use it. Otherwise you died for nothing. Overall id say, staying alive is one of the most important thing for all classes. If you are alive, you can influence the game. Staying alive is based upon risk management. Sometimes it requires "boring" play, by letting the enemy make a move first. But i dont think its much fun, by simply running into an enemy ambush and die within 30-60 seconds. If enemy starts to move, you can still shoot/kill them, so the fun will come at some point (most likely) I wont deny, that sometimes a low damage game can still mean you contributed some way or another, but i wouldnt call it the norm. Just yesterday, had a 38k damage Balti game. We were opposed/attacked by enemy Mino/Wooster/Midway division. We kept the CV busy, i denied a cap with my radar presence, and i mostly was fighting that division and a DD. Even got first in XP with that performance I think i did the most useful thing with the cards i was dealt. But most of the time, a bad game is just that = a bad game

    Accurate guns for that tier. Most ships there have horrible Sigma. QE has good Sigma, i liked her aswell. First game with PEF i had like 44% hitrate When you have an opportunity, and you can make the shot count, its extremely valuable in my book. The armor itself is not as good as other german BBs (more overmatchable places), but other ships got that aswell, so imo its not that big of a deal.

    I just liked it right away Have only played it recently in Randoms for the first time (as i try to avoid T6 randoms these days because of the bad MM), and it worked extremely well there aswell. Maybe im biased because i play it in divisions. Could be, that it works better there, compared to solo play. Some ships are that way. Like a Khaba doesnt need a division, as it brings nothing to the table. It goes to a flank, and tries to harass ships from there. Alaska has Radar and strong AA for your division. And you can create crossfire with a division BB, which is extremely valuable.

    I think its more like 30% win/30% lose no matter what, so that leaves 4 out of 10 games which you can influence by yourself. Ofc strictly solo speaking. Depending on class/ship, it could deviate a bit more. Best solo players will be at around 70% (some CV players can get 80%). And if you would go AFK, you would probably be above 30%. Having more or less influence is basicly impossible in a 12v12 teamgame. Only divisions can influence more, depending if they consist of 3 really bad players or 3 super Unicums.

    I played it couple of times in Raptor Rescue, but thats not available right now. I think it can work in all of the 3 which are available right now. Aegis is probably better, Killer Whale / Defense of Naval station Newport more on the eh side. I prefer Cruisers in the latter ones. Alaska is imo very strong. But i think it needs one of those special captains with improved EL (Halsey or John Doe), so you can switch between AP/HE if necessary. Also Alaska has the AA power to defend itself from a CV attack, which makes it possible to operate on a flank better than other ships currently imo, as you need some broadside to get your AP working. Remember, Alaska has improved AP angles, so you can get more pens where other ships already bounce! I rate Alaska best from the 3 BCs right now (Alaska - Kronshtadt - Azuma). It has best armor/protected Citadel, improved AP angles, Strong AA, Radar and compared to Kronshtadt, gets less overpens because doesnt have such fast shells. Sure

Better than those annoying once which know what angling is, and that you cant overmatch them Perfect example the Prinz Eugen from my Lyon game... all the time showing a bit broadside, but when i wanted to shoot him, he turned in right away. Ofc he had insane fire luck, i was perma burning from him In the end, he was rushing me bow on, but nagato popped up behind an island, so i turned around and bagged the win with 1000 points

    I think, PEF is the best T6 BB for OPs. The accuracy is really good, and so are the secondaries. I never understood why people dont like it. I think its a strong ship actually. You could get Alaska for 1 million FreeXP...

    Yep, was Langley and König division. We had Hosho + some T5 BB forgot which one. Enemy CV was much better tho...
  24. Not the best day today, gameplay is pretty abysmal Lyon grind pretty much done, like 5k XP missing, might use FreeXP for that. Mino game was pretty unfun. Half the enemy team went imaginary D, while the others were pretty much behind A. That was the most fun game, as it had no CVs in it. Enemies were pushing too hard even Pointblank rush torped the Nelson 38k damage = 1st in XP. @ForlornSailor had 21k damage But we had to play around their A-division, with constant CV attacks ofc. And lightning + 2 BBs on our side aswell.

    Id go with Musashi, and use as many Credit Flags/Camo as you can. 200k Musashi game got me 1 million lately, with only Zulu flag (but not sure if i had premium account at that time...), more is definetely possible with Camo + flags ontop. Yoshino is coming for Coal soon, seems ok id say. Currently you can get Alaska and Azuma for FreeXP. Alaska is much better imo, Azuma is a light version of Yoshino, and rather meh compared to the other BCs (i wouldnt recommend it). Coal CV? I wouldnt count on it.
