This... yesterday had a Vladi at 6km FULL FLAT broadside in my Amagi. Got 2 Cits and 2 Bounces (+some overpens dunno becuase i started raging like mad). 2 bounces - how do you [edited]bounce on a broadside at 6 km?!!?!?

True... i think nowadays, they could sell belfast again. Not that bad anymore. Same with Kutuzov imo. They have lost their OP status. Many people are able to shoot into smokes, and it might even "help" that we have less idiot DD players on T10. Acts like a natural skill wall Have played against a >60% Belfast player once while playing Mahan, was quite interesting. But he lost You have IFHE on it? Is a must have ofc. But on T5 it really depends what ships you are facing. T6 BBs melt like butter, while T5 dreadnoughts are shatter heaven

Doesnt Murmansk already have more range? Russian bias already in place Might see for myself soon, as i didnt get enough tokens for the cptn, so ill get the Murmansk instead

I feel the same way when playing Marblehead The funny thing is, i think Omaha/Marblehead are in need of a buff, but who would take my word for it Plating should get buffed atleast to 13mm so that 152mm AP cant overmatch it, and a bit more range wouldnt hurt / or a bit better concealment. The CE change reall sucked imo. And the problem is, you cant really hug islands with it, because the arcs are much flatter than the other US Cruisers. @Redcap375 Yeah, Zao is horrible to play against too, thats why i added it aswell. But im mostly speaking from CBs. Zaos in Randoms usually dont fare that well. When CVs get introduced into CBs, i believe Zaos will be replaced by Henris too... Maybe Moskvas and Stalins will also get replaced by Henris If they sit still, they get raped by Haku APs, and Zaos waiting on a flank can just get spotted and hunted down by any CV. The AA from zao alone will not be enough to stop the CV. However, Henris you can just group up together 2-3 or with a BB because they have good range, they are maneuvrable and AA in a group is also better, so less chance for a CV to strike them. And they are spotted anyway, so who cares about being spotted by a CV? Good point. If we think about whats good for the game, id say Unicums overperforming in OP ships is definetely worse, as they can just roll over everything.

I wouldnt say Henri is OP, but its definetely too strong right now. Same as Zao imo. The torpbuff was unnecessary. For Henri its just the fear of the MBRB. You just cant do anything, against another Cruiser you could try to turn away, get punished yes but most likely you wouldnt die. Against Henri you can forget that. And if you reverse, he can HE spam you with MBRB too. And for longrange spamming HE pop your speed boost, accelerate + break all the time you are almost impossible to get hit. Maybe it should lose the speedboost, would it make a bit easier to hit it at longer ranges.

I had a similiar unlucky streak with the GK when i first played it. I was sure it wasnt me, my teams just couldnt win. I kept doing what i did, and with 20-30 battles played it started to normalize. Sometimes its just like that Depending what build you have, maybe you should change it. I didnt like secondaries anymore with it. Switched to tank build also worked better. -

Just how people are these days: total hypocrites. Watch some stuff on YT, there are some crazy people out there. My favourites are, people getting filmed by others, while filming them aswell AND demanding they they stop recording Ofc they are allowed to film them at the same time... how crazy can you be?! Same can be translated here, they feel entitled to play anyway they like to have fun, all others can go [edited]themselves

The only way WG will listen to anything, is when people would stop spending money. So your best bet is, to get as many people to closer their wallets, then tell WG about it Or hope sooner or later it happens by itself

You could even use the arguement, that CVs cant detonate themselves, so they shouldnt be allowed to detonate anything else in return? Sounds fair in my book

There are more CVs around than before (can even be 2x T8 CVs f.e.) which make for skewed stats if you look at the entire game time. Kremlin will automatically fare better than the others because of this. If we look at last week, i think Kidd is first in planekills, followed by Massa B. Again, probably due to being T8 with 2 CVs in a game, but we dont have data for that. Kremlin might/probably see TX CVs more often. Also, the other BBs arent as far behind as the data on wows.numbers make it out to be. They are ofc, but not by such a large margin.

Both have 12 guns and shoot HE? Funny thing is, wows has this weird tendency to put people you have a beef with in the enemy team so you can screw them Happened like 5-6 times already for me/ my division. -

Clearly says, MM is random... so having an uneven setup makes it kinda random? Also, did you include divisions when you check this? A 3x Super Unicum division can easily put one team ahead in average WR, without MM being able to do anything. Especially, if another division in queue consists of 3x BBaby with 40% WR. Then the divisions get matched against each other ofc... -

Overall i think, CVs are too punishing towards Cruisers, a class which should more or less be the one defending the team against planes. Rockets hurt like hell, Bombs are worse. Torps not really, unless you turn for them and have to show broadside. Id really think, panic needs to return to DefAA, maybe not for the entire AA radius, but maybe for mid-range AA or something like 2-3km around. Playing BB, majority of the time you can even ignore the planes, unless they are AP bombs and you are a BB which has a hittable Citadel. (or its a TX CV) Against DDs, they are also too strong. Seeing what some CV players can do when i division with them, you can only feel pity for the DD players. Basicly every game killing one in the first 2 minutes. Its totaly upside down in my mind. BBs fear CVs the least basicly, as they have the HP, armor and heal to withstand the strikes and they have planes as AA AND profit the most from anti-dot builds which they run most of the time anyway. But they should be the prime target for CVs. At the same time, Cruisers have to be careful against any squad attacking them, and DDs ofc get pretty much *edited* by HE bombs and Rockets. If average CV players would understand to attack Cruiser directly, it would be much worse imo. Luckily, they dont, for some reason they like to strike targets next to me. Which they ofc still can do, so it wouldnt be a problem to strike a Cruiser directly. Edit: Inappropriate Language. Please refrain from swearing. Kind Regards, Arty_McFly

Maybe not every ships playtstyle fits everyone? Good players will eventually make every ship work, while average players might have ships they struggle for a long time or it will never really work. And watching videos will only get you so far, as every match is different. You have to know/understand what to do in a specific game situation. Also id say, most of the time l2p isthrown out, when someone makes really basic mistakes, like rushing into superior enemy numbers for no real reason. Or not understanding points/time so surviving would get a win, but they yolo in to die and lose the game. And in forums ofc when people call for unnecessary buffs because they are not able to play a ship properly, instead to learn it, they rather want it buffed. -

Well i think its ok to have low skill/risk + low reward ships. You could say, german BBs go into that direction as they have basicly no citadel, and are also sturdy against HE alpha damage. Yet, average player will also not get the best results in them, simply because the guns are meh-ish. However, i wouldnt say ships like Smolensk, Colbert and Slava are high risk + high reward ships. The risk is imo rather small for all of them, if you just know where to sit and how to aim. Slava even comes with awesome longrange dispersion, which makes it better playing low risk. Smolensk wont change as much with the range nerf, as you can buff the range with module and/or AFT. Sitting behind an island (or even in your smoke) with more range than some CAs, arcs that can lob over many islands and having "stealth" AA (Colbert) is not something which makes them high risk ships in the first place. However, amount of shells they can dish out can give insane rewards: Evaporating DDs faster than anything, HE pen that can melt CAs, and fires that will bring down any BB to their knees. If id compare Slava to something else, id imagine 20km shima torps with very low detection, making it a low risk + high reward ship. Luckily, 20km shima torps are visible from the moon, so thats balanced. Slava dispersion on the other hand is awesome on long range, making the entire concept flawed or bad for the game basicly. Same goes for Colbert and Smolensk. They arent balanced because they shatter a lot and are squishy (i dont see squishyness as a balancing factor anyway, as its something i can work around with skill, thats why i like Musashi). Imo balanced version of those 2 would be, having 1/5 or 1/4 pen (which ever is necessary) having a SLOW reload like CAs. -
Just had a quick look at it, i wanna start with some general stuff: - Try to use as many premium consumables as you can. Should take atleast DCP/Reload booster for the CM (for ships with heal, ofc that too then). - The times you used reload booster were a bit questionable imo Here the DM is showing broadside after accelerating. Reload Booster + AP could have smacked him couple or even 3 times. In this instance, the DM died anyway, but often enough it can happen that the enemy doesnt die... Specifically for playstyle: - Overall too passive imo. You had early spotting because of the CV. 3 BBs were spotted going towards A. BBs are your biggest enemy, cruisers usually cant kill you that fast, unless you really [edited]up. - Sometimes you could spam over islands, but you dont. And when you cant spam over islands, you try to do it Its just a learning process, when you can island spam, and when not to. French Cruisers are more open water longrange HE spammer. F.e. when the enemy BBs were rolling through B, and your BBs were ahead of you. Maybe you should have just moved out and shot too. Potentially they shoot you, yes. But good chance, your Yamato would have survived in return, even if he was stupid showing full broadside. But they cant kill both of you at the same time. - RU BBs have thick plating, you deal no damage with HE, try shooting AP with the CM at midrange broadside, as 203mm should pen the upper belt. Or you have to aim more for the superstructure with HE. - In the end, i think you might have gotten undetected. You still were because of your gunbloom. You dont rush BBs - period. Some Cruisers can do it, CM shouldnt do it. Its covered in thin plating getting overmatched everywhere. Repub has fast reload, you cant turn between shots. Several different scenarios might have prevented you rushing towards the BB in the end : Being less passive before, thus killing the other BBs earlier or shoot over the islands at C instead of running away and/or shooting AP at the BB broadside. Might have enabled you to go towards B and cap it instead. The RU BB shot HE at you, as you got 2 fires from it. The Repu blapped you with AP because he can overmatch you basicly everywhere (and was a frontal Cita i think). As i said above: You dont want to be in a position rushing towards a full HP BB.

ST, changes to test ships and engine boost of planes

Dont think they will do that. They have a basic concept for a ship - they dont move away from it imo. Like GC, they propose a nerf to T6 instead of doing some other tweaks. Same with Slava, they obviously want a range sniper, so it will stay like that, and they will screw around with other stuff long enough until its right in "their mind". I guess some ST plebs played it like morons, ofc it sucks then (Community balancing GZ anyone? ) -
Well, your tashkent is a 45% (35% on Tashkent) player with abysmal stats. Enemy Z is 50% and even 55% in his Z (but with meh stats too, so seems to be rather lucky with small amount of matches) But what should the MM do? You guys are playing 3x div with good players. Enemy team had flamu. Your CV seemed to be good aswell, while enemy CV sucked [edited]. Who knows what would have happened if only the 2 CVs would have been swapped? Maybe suddenly your team would have collapsed, maybe not resulting in an equal roflstomp, but its hard to say who or what was at fault for that stomp. Btw, looking at enemy team and saying they were bad is pretty one sided. Only because noone from your team died doesnt mean they were all capable. Your team had bad players too, tashkent and HIV f.e. arent by any means good or even average. And thats only 2 i looked at.
