I think 0.8.5 is planned for 26.6 atleast for some months. Thats when the first soviet tokens were to be removed, and thats already 2 months showing. Currency always gets removed when patch goes live. Since Crysantos is basicly talking about a Coal ship, i think it will be Yoshino. Siegfried hasnt been tested yet by CCs and such, so no way it will go live. Yoshino is announced to be coal, and it has been tested already, so it would make sense. This. Its also my issue. Just say: We will do it with the patch. And this could have been changed 2 months ago as it has been planned, not 1 day before you can get it. Its not about losing 3 days, dont care about that. Its just usual WG not being able to communicate things in advance. And even make it out to be a POSITIVE thing is really questionable in my mind, what is positive if i currently have no coupon ?

All other DDs can pen all Cruisers with IFHE too? Should be T8 cruisers have max 27mm (well except Atago deck but thats 41mm anyway), and the others are 25mm (kutu 26mm). The only difference would be penetrating that one BB, which would matter against an Amagi mostly. NC has more deck armor, Vladi is floating iron block.

I think its nice to have a change in between. The lowered rewards i dont understand either, because as you say, its as hard to advance through the leagues? Only thing might be, because of summer (i think they wrote it like that), that you also need less wins maybe? But we will see i guess. As for BBs: RU BBs dont have a plane right? Spotter plane could be valuable for blapping smoke Cruisers like the Kutuzov. Also, in b4 people whining about Kutuzov same way as Stalingrad

Remember only one game playing against you guys, and i dont think we had a Bourgogne there (was a Montana). Sometimes we just play a fun game and someone might have picked a Bourgogne then (when i wasnt around, havent played that much last season). On the other hand i agree, Bourgogne isnt really a ship for CBs. Same as Henri if you look at randoms, its not as good there as it is in CBs. Or stalin for that matter, but that might change anyway if we ever get to experience air masterrace in CBs How i see it: - Bourgogne strong in randoms / not as strong in CBs - Stalin strong in CBs / not as strong in randoms - Henri strong in CBs / not as strong in randoms - Kremlin strong in both? we will see... However, its probably not that easy to get balanced ships for every gamemode. But an OP ship in randoms effects more people negatively than one in CBs. Its easy: Shipjesus didnt whine about Bourgogne being OP, so naturally nobody opens his mouth about it

Stats suggest, Bourgogne is actually more OP than Stalingrad In our clan, 2 guys play Bourgogne often, and they both say its stronger than Stalin (atleast in randoms), and if someone wants to have fun in randoms, should pick Bourgogne over Stalin. Alltho now that we have Kremlin, i think Bourgogne isnt as OP anymore compared to all silver BBs

Yeah, ofc you have to take it with a little salt, but average DD gameplay is really bad imo. I just think, if you can make Cruisers work, you will have an easier time with other classes too. From my 10 most played ships, 9 are Cruisers. I like to play them the most (usually^^) My personal advice for you would be: If you want to pick up Cruiser play, you have to take baby-steps and go back to low-tiers. Preferably even below T4, as you dont get punished as hard for making a mistake down there. So you have more time to pick something up while playing. If you get blapped right away, you wont have a chance to learn as much, because you make one mistake and puff. Only tells you, you did a horribly bad move right away

People should get mandatory 700-800 battles in T8 Cruisers. That will teach them something I did that by my own free will when i got to T8 first (250 in Hipper, ~500 in Takao). Thats with pre-pre buff Hipper too. Its stop drooling over your [edited]keyboard, and git gud (or get out). I agree. However the better you wanna be, the more complex it becomes. The better you know armor models, the more damage you can squeeze out. But that might also be down to playing >700 games with RN CLs, that will teach you something about were to aim If people would play more Cruisers, i think they would learn a thing or 2. But they rather go derp BB. Or new derp CV class. DDs are probably not so easy to derp in anymore, alltho the biggest morons are still playing DDs

Germans and some special ships like Massa/Georgia (compare to Missouri, it has same secondaries as the other 2, but slower reload) Germans have special penetration value for secondaries German ships are made for brawling, while Musashi is not. Its based on the armor and citadel (or lack of it) Massa/Georgia have better accuracy on their secondaries than the others. These are simple facts. No matter how much you like Musashi secondaries, they have less pen or less accuracy and slower reload. 4. Why would they sit and wait until your secondaries melt them? A DD can just get undetected at that range. A Cruiser will probably kill you faster if you ignore him at that range. 5. No matter how much you wanna believe it: Im not a backline camper. You can play the game however you want, but claiming that other players dont have fun because they pick a build contrary to YOUR opinion is laughable. Also, if f.e. i would be such a camper, how come i got a better main battery hitrate than you ? Funny thing aswell, a tankbuild lets you play succesfully more aggressive than a secondary build. The longer you survive, the more damage you can cause to the enemy, simple as that. However, under certain circumstances a Secondary build can get rid of enemies faster. For me personaly, i see secondary builds only viable at T7+8, because of smaller maps and ships have less armor. Massa in T6 MM is nice, you can basicly guaranteed use your secondaries, while in TX MM its more complicated and they are less usefull anyway.

Didnt play today, but i just realized, finaly got Unicum PR in BBs Took me some time. One more to go though Have been closer already, but since rewööörk and playing Gadjah/Z-39 it hasnt improved

Feel free to use Secondaries on the ships others have mentioned throughout this thread. Its not THE best build, its an option to play like that. Same option is to play with tank build. If you would play Massa with standard tank build, why not just pick NC or if premium Alabama? Both of them are better when played as a tank build, so if you play Massa with tank build, you probably are just playing a bad version of a T8 US BB. Vice versa if you would play Alabama with secondaries, it would suck. But going for secondary Musashi = its just useless.

You can guess who died first. Ofc doesnt really matter if secondary build or not, since the DD is sitting next to me. Did hit him - didnt deal any damage. However, without a tank build that scenario would have most likely never happened, as i would have just died waaaay earlier. Potentially more fire damage, more fires, less main battery damage because probably worse dispersion. Musashi with secondary build is bad because: - The penetration is not enough (127mm) or the RoF is bad (155mm). You could only pen Cruisers/DDs reliably, or T7 BB. - Nobody wants to be in range of 10km to a Musashi. Especially not a Cruiser, and most likely not another BB. Unless its a GK, which has better secondaries and better armor . A DD will, if he is undetected, which opens up another problem: Musashi cant spot the DD itself. If you push in, you open yourself up to getting citadelled from almost every angle, because you cant angle against everything if you play aggressively. Musashi needs to maintain proper angle at all times. - Compared to other secondaries, Germans have faster RoF and better pen, US like on Massa/Georgia have better accuracy and faster RoF.

well... ive had a team once losing 3 BBs (2 TXs / 2 without citadel even) within the first 4 minutes of the game... but they didnt die simultaneously
