Updated the first post a bit, as you can earn up to 300k credits with the highest "tier" DDs using Zulu Flag + Prem acc. So turns out, farminig those credits isnt as time consuming as it first looked like. Getting all the daily missions is ofc still the harder task. Currently combining both of them, playing 3x Div and ~1h per day which gets the daily missions done. Its actually manageable that way, and i might get Benham after all. Sad part is, i already screwed 2 daily missions, so no more slacking for me 6-8 Savage battles per day, you get all Daily missions, credits easily and directives too.

I wouldnt grind for Hill really... either go for Benham or just ignore it IMO. The biggest tasks is getting all daily missions every day (well 1 day off...). If you do that, you will get Hill and even Benham "easily" (thats if you play Savage battles). First i thought, Credits will be a tough nut to crack, but turns out, its really not. But i actually think i might get the Benham. Get a 3x div for Savage battles, that will roughly be 1~h of playing per day, get all daily missions, everything else just goes by easily.

No spotting is not balanced if both sides have a CV. First of all, CV can be AFK too (just had that yesterday, wasnt nice). Also there is a difference if you spot a DD in a cap, or a BB which is humping the border far away from the action. So spotting has different values depending on where and what you are spotting. CV fighters cant deny movement from enemy CV. It might take him a a bit longer to where he wants to go. Also, speed different between DDs <-> BBs is like 10-20% on hightiers (exept the really fast DDs). Planes are like 5-6x faster than ships, so you cant compare that. WG said, they dont want CVs fighting each other because of CV sniping... which is utterly retarded, and it showed, when seeing games ending with 4 CVs alive very often.

Got it today playing Alaska, shooting an Algerie Broadside at ~13-14km... i cant even understand how thats a thing Guess my Alaska has DD grade AP penetration

Met @Kysmet in his Mogador on the enemy team. Also @clocky in his Kagero, same game as Kysmet, also enemy side. Your team was.... special so to say? But has been all day long: Either they are on your side, or on the enemy side.

No, you just dont need to train the captain for Harugumo, which you need to do otherwise. Nothing else is special about this captain.

I like Baltimore. Somehow, people dont expect that you can punish them, so they show broadside all the time. The better game was a loss sadly (put that in Carry harder thread)...

Moskva pushed 4 ships at once, calling us "noob team", richelieu went hiding behind islands where nobody was, then dies. Conqueror hides behind islands with full HP; then dies to enemy Stalin and Seattle, killing neither. Oh yeah, the Hindenburg raped half our team, when i 1v1ed him, it was 10k vs ~25k or so. I won, since his torp killed me

Imagine ive seen the first Benham yesterday already... so i guess atleast some people through +200€ right away at WG Ontop of that, i just realized the other uses for Fuel tokens are... rediculous at best? "overprized" premium acc (100 fuel = 3 days / 3 days premium are ~1€) or 1x camo for 5 fuel or 450k credits. So basicly this resource has no value except for Benham. With the soviet tokens, even if you didnt go for Laso, you could get Perma camos for T8 ships, which is not entirely useless imo or if you couldnt get Kuznetsov you could get a Murmansk, which is still better than the options for Fuel tokens. Pretty wasted event, i dont have any reason to play for it.

Imo the worst thing is, when i was playing BB i usually had the least issues with CVs. You can ignore them most of the time, because you dont care for being spotted too much, and even the damage you receive is not always as punishing compared to Cruisers or DDs. And if a CV is spotted, BBs can punish it... unlike Cruisers, which have a real hard time against those new CVs imo (well, the TX ones). HE shatters, AP bounces if angled, and fires wont do anything. I didnt even bother swapping Spotter plane from my BBs, just dont present yourself on a silver plate (which you dont have to anyway), and CV will do something else. Many CVs go for DDs first, others take out island camping Cruisers. If you have suicidal / lonely BBs on your team, then CVs might go for that.

Worst class yesterday by a long shot: BBs - not even a contest. They were so incredibly useless Ofc there was some "funny" (aka stupid) DD stuff aswell: - Khaba rushes cap, TORPS ! a Benson... but gets torped aswell in return. - Kagero camps behind our BBs in spawn, says he cant advance because he doesnt have smoke. Asked, why he plays like that, tells us, thats the way to do it. Eats 2 spotted torps from a Kitakaze, which even i managed to dodge while playing Musashi - Daring not shooting other DDs Oh and one game only DD AFK and CV too. Basicly doomed from the start.

Met @WarburtonLee in his Khaba on the enemy team. Didnt realize it at first tho. Felt i had quite some hard time hitting you. Seemed to be both you dodging and me having bad dispersion at times which made me miss several salvos Also had @DRA_Harkesh 2 times on our team in his GK. Kinda hard to make you out as a forumite tho when you arent active that much

The worst WoWs days in... months? I think - Teammates are ABYSMAL, so bad... - getting kills? well thats a huge no today for me. Have good salvos, ships survive with a bit HP, then aforementioned teammates come into play, not killing said ships. Or a Roon reversing full broadside against my neptune...every salvo less damage, from 2k down to 0 damage, because 150 HP is obviously too match to handle for my shells - Then if you could deal damage, game ends because suddenly enemy team was retarded ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Our Repu was incapable of killing a stationary border hugging Hindenburg in like 6 minutes. Ran away to the border because one DD. I told him, if he would have come my way i could have radared it at some point. But border is better i guess. Hindenburg kinda fucked me ofc, otherwise Yamato would have been dead and me not. Musashi was on salvo. My heal was coming up in <3 seconds, but the SHIMAKAZE SHOT ME TO DEATH. Thats enemies i/we have to deal with. You think my team did anything? As you see, they didnt, they couldnt kill any ship i managed to "almost" kill. Then they ran away and were not spotted for minutes to heal back up.... After only having superunicum enemies who are 100% perfectly angled at all times almost, i was like "well then lets take Musashi" ofc suddenly they were all floating broadside basicly 20k salvo on FDG made him crap his pants, and he ran away behind the island at I3

If noobs are running 3x div who cares Gets easier even. Nah i wont do it. Playing 10 games per day this game mode, without guaranteed to getting all 6 daily mission stages (its actually quite unlikely), ontop of doing that EVERY DAY, for which i simply dont have time, i decided i wont even try.

GK eats so much pen damage, you can hardly ever tell if you get citadelled or just multi penetrated. The only way to know if you citadel a GK, is if YOU do the citadels on him. Ive citadelled german BBs close range / longrage broadside, or every range through the bow. But its very unlikely to do it. Same as shooting a Hindenburg close combat and getting mostly overpens. You can still get citadelled sometimes. I feel French BBs take much less pen damage ontop of being almost as immune to citadels. Oly get citadels on Frenchies at close range.

They even removed half the skills right away. Cant even skill AFT or BFT, they dont even exist

Difference is, the other ships arent tied to be grinded in 1 month. I can play couple of months to get my FreeXP or Coal until WG is releasing a new ship. Dont have to play 10 games per day to get them. I can play 10 games today, and then not play for 1 week if i dont want to.

I agree, it should be hard to get it - no only how much time i can invest. There i no difference if i am a 40% player or a 60% player. Both will take exactly the same amount of games to complete the grind. If im a better player, i should be able to get it faster (or at all for that matter). The only difference will be, that good players win more often, so they need a little bit less games for the daily missions.

Only wanted to showcase how much you need to play to grind it for free. And you think 40% players wont spam 500 battles in savage mode? There is no skill requirement to get Benham, its purely play as much as you can. YOu will need to play >10 battles per day to get it. The >10k battle crowd with bad stats will be the ones going home with Benham... As they have the time to spam games all day long. And they dont care for anything anyway.

Yep, best bet is to take a 3x div into it.

Use captain skills on one captain, and put other skills on the other. You can swap them between all those event ships. First captain i specced was JoaT, AR, SE, Vigilance, RPF and CE. The only option would be to not take CE and take TAE instead maybe.
