Its not like DoY was an OP premium to begin with... The citadel change was really bad for them, since they have no armor to stop most BB shells. (unlike the T8+ RN BBs). 1 more heal / better repair party doesnt help if you can get citadelled from everywhere.

Every 3rd party site sets their own standard for that. F.e. http://proships.ru/stat/eu/user/DFens_666 has different colors for every ship based on all the players, f.e. 75% WR can be Purple, Blue or even Green, depending on all players WR (atleast i assume they measure like this). So 75% in purple is really good for that ship, most players dont have such a WR. Green probably means, a lot of players have a high WR aswell. But i also think, they dont account for number of battles played, thats why the lower tier ships tend to have green/blue WR, because you can have a high WR with a few games, and many people play a few battles at those tiers. But as i said, im not 100% sure, for me it does make sense tho. If you want to have a better picture on wows.numbers, i think you could check for every ship on the details tab and filter for best 50/25/10/5% players. Id say best 10% are Unicum, and best 5% Super unicum?

For some reason, potatoes in midtier arent nearly as bad as the ones in hightier Ofc couple of reasons for that: You tend to not die so fast even if you do a mistake, and because of that, people tend to not go border hugging either. But in Hightiers you have both at the same time! Few of them just die after 3-5 minutes, the others are licking the border clean TBH, you cant be worse than the teammates i have lately. 48%? Thats too much for me They usually are lower 40s... And either they have like 1k battles of >10k, so they are newbs or straightup noobs

WG, FIX YOUR [edited]MM. Every single HIghtier game today has been a COMPLETE AND UTTERSHITSHOW. I had 9 LOBOTOMIZED MONKEYS ON MY SIDE EVERY GAME!!! (+2 division mates). 4,5 million tanked in Musashi, yet my team just EVAPORTAES. Die die die, from what ?! Ofc they also dont shoot, as you can see, nothing died either But focus fire without any spotting? Doesnt work... And then this [edited]Gem of a game. Just WOW. Enemy shima super ultra unicum, radared him 3 times, my team never shoots, he wiggled perfectly, shoots at me, gets fires, torps all the time. When i had to brawl the Salem, he started shooting me aswell ofc. 1k HP left, he still tried to kill me.

Hightiers are just garbage... doesnt matter what you try, lobotomized monkeys will ruin it anyway T7 much better Even considering the Lyon game was T9 aswell. Amagi was 2x devstrike (Zao and Chapa) and firstblood but the team folded so fast without dealing any damage... We won our flank, the other flank just died and all enemy ships had full HP + all 3 DDs alive, nothing you can do.

Due to MM, i think Gneisenau is a good one. And Massa when being toptier. I just dont see a viable secondary build in T8-10 MM, because often its worse than having a tankbuild due to stronger ships and the meta being what it is. But i guess Germans atleast have the penetration to deal damage with them even against other BBs. When MM "fixes" MM, so that T8 is less often lowtier, it might be that the T8 ships become the best (most viable) secondary ships. Might hurt Gneisenau maybe tho...

Thats a really good point imo. If you think back, when only had Yamato/Monty/GK and Cruisers like Hindenburg. Majority of BBs you encountered had small caliber to bounce on your 30mm armor. Now? Musashi, Yamato, Repu, Ohio and what not... when will we see the first >430mm T8BB? High potential to be Russian ofc, must be Stalin incomming Why should i even play Hindenburg, as not only its powercreeped, but it also "sucks [edited] " against those BBs. I think i have 1 Hindenburg game this year 2nd one incomming in coop for french tokens. Getting like almost 200k in a TX cruiser feels like hard word. 200k in a BB is often only down to luck, and not much stress either Is lucky that it wasnt devstrike

Never be too sure about that one The only premium ship i used money on, was the cossack which was ofc 89cents... But i have tons of premiums by playing and getting a bit lucky in giveaways So you never know about premiums, if you play long enough, you can have a nice set by free to play aswell, i could even have more, f.e. i did let the Laso slip through. (havent looked at his account tho, so maybe he has all premiums )

I prefer this event to the Benham one... I have one month to basicly play all my ships once in Coop, which isnt that bad. Ill get 2 packages from that. 3rd with the Siroco which you can also get 4 free from the directives. I got the Guepard mission so far, maybe if i get one more mission, i might be able to get the 4th packages aswell. Those packages are quite ok imo, doubloons, nice signals and camos, credits and Coal. The 1k doubloon packages arent interesting for me however, so even if i dont get enough tokens, ill just get less free stuff, so who cares? I think its not much effort for decent rewards.

I feel the French lack armor to be close enough to use secondaries. While US ships are similiar, they atleast have 38mm deck (upper belt), which helps against Cruiser HE, and even Yamasushi AP. French have free HE pen/AP overmatch everywhere. Germans have ofc much better armor all around. And some (or all?) have secondaries located at the back, so makes it kinda useless if you have most or all of your firepower in the front...

If the game would be in a proper state, i voted 3. But they would change A LOT for that to actually be a viable option. On the other hand, id see a much more enjoyable game, thats why i would like it.

How can they ever get proper balance, when they say "hey, that exploit is fine, most players wont use it" If that exploit makes the difference between being able to strike an AA ship, or lose all your planes... But that says a lot about balancing and how WG cares about it

Cruisers, because they are the most reliable class imo. BBs have Dispersion, DDs have torps, both rely on being a bit lucky to get the perfect hit. With Cruisers you know what you are getting into, you need more skill but less luck

Cruisers are the wetwipe for everyone, so noone cares about them BB/CA/DD More BBs (because russian biasboats) = more DDs also which will farm the BBs. BBs are the ones needed to be capped at 3. Then we potentially could have more Cruisers in the game, which would also make it harder for DDs. And game would be more enjoyable imo.

If Caliber is > plating * 14,3 then your shell will pass through regardless of impact angle. KGV has 25mm bow and plating, so any shell with >358mm will go straight through there. Getting frontal citadels should be fairly easy compared to other BBs on that tier... Lyon is basicly impossible to citadel from anywhere, and Gneisenau has good bow protection aswell. Nagato is ofc fairly squishy and so is Colorado, but the latter has good frontal Citadel armor and it sits low in the water aswell. btw, NM lacks caliber to go through the bow, unless you are very lucky (or unlucky depending which one you were ) QE can certainly do it.

Nothing wrong with midtiers, but due to grinding ive been playing a lot more hightiers (not that its much fun... ) But even the last few T7 games were often in T9 heavy MM, which is barely fun either. T5 vs T7, T7 vs T9, T8 vs 10 btw, Hindenburg was my first T10 aswell, but i violated myself playing like 700 T8 battles before that Hipper and Takao. I actually sold Hipper 3 times i believe One day, i might buy it again... Would like to get Monty, Yama and DM soon, but this grinding isnt much fun to me. I rather play the ships which are fun to play.

Its automatically done once you have enough coal + steel to buy the thing you want. You only have 150k Coal if you would convert your steel, so you still lack 36000 to get the Yoshino. However, you should reconsider converting steel. Its harder to get than Coal, and you might regret it at some point.
